Piran Meadows Resort Reviews

"Did not have enough comfy cushions and the grill tray to put the tray on was missing. The WIFI was very slow compared to other caravans I have stayed in."
Tracy - Jul 2025
"Great location, clean, spacious and highly recommend."
Paul - Jul 2025
"Really clean and well maintained."
Anthony - Jul 2025
"Great caravan with all the equipment as detailed - 3 bedrooms, bathroom and one en suite - space was used well, all the kitchen equipment appeared to be new and in great condition and the biggest bonus for us was they provided towels, toilet paper, bathmats and tea towels, washing up liquid and a washing up sponge - absolutely amazing!"
Astrid - Jul 2025
"Our Piran Meadows Resort review: My favourite style lovely and roomy"
Sue - Jul 2025
"Accommodation needs some tlc"
Sandra - Jul 2025
"The St. Austell 3 caravan are ideal, comfortable and well equipped. After 11 years of use they are beginning to show signs of age and some wear on the floors and curtains. The veranda table and chairs need cleaning to restore."
Andrew - Jul 2025
"Wouldnt book here again not worth the money at all"
Hayley - Jul 2025
"For what it says for 6 people I'm not sure it's big enough for that amount of adults, was i think not bi enough for 4 adults"
Vanessa - Jul 2025
"Excellent value for money clean well kitted caravan perfect for our stay. Caravan shower was excellent. Beds were comfortable and the linen clean"
Penny - Jun 2025
"My husband and I have visited piran meadows twice now, and plan to visit again. We love this resort. The staff are kind and helpful, the surroundings are peaceful, quiet (you might hear a passing train, but that's about all). The resort is clean and well maintained. It's close by to many places, and the use of the pool sauna and stream room is just an added bonus. You can book activities. We didn't do so this time, as we just didn't find the time! But we have done the archery in the past, and really enjoyed it. The caravans are clean comfortable and well kitted out. The beds, I have found, have been the most comfortable beds away from home! I can't recommend this place enough, and can't wait to go back again! Caravan holidays and parks aren't for everyone, but of you're looking for a comfortable and clean base, to eat and sleep while you're in Cornwall, I think you can't go far wrong with piran meadows."
Charlotte - Jun 2025
"10/10 what more can I say"
Linda - Jun 2025
"Very clean and well looked after lodge. Everything worked well. Big site area- Good amount of space to park right outside and plenty of grass area for the kids to play on."
Amy - Jun 2025
"Dirty out dated caravanBroken equipment Luke warm waterHot tub dirty blocked jets"
Beverley - Jun 2025
"Our caravan this time was not as nice as our precious visits, even though it was the same spec as our last visit. It appeared to be older and a little tired. There were a few issues with the caravan on arrival, such cleaning not being very thorough, lights not working, TV remote control missing, which were attended too immediately."
Jack - Jun 2025
"I think it was very pricey for what we got, caravan very old looking."
Danielle - Jun 2025
"Excellent nothing out of place"
Ivan - May 2025
"Nice clean tidy caravan with everything you need for your holiday."
Susan - May 2025
"Caravan was a bit tired"
Norman - May 2025
"Excellent from booking to the holiday ?????????? all the way"
Richard - May 2025
"The pictures at the time of booking was so nice tempted me to book the caravan. When we arrived got the surprised how it looked. Decking area had no view only trees, which was full of spiders and ant. And table and chairs were so dirty could not enjoy the warm weather at all. Inside all good but do need a upgrade on sofas and beds. And please do bring your wiping cloth as there wasn't any provided had to use my own microfibre cloth. But was impressed with the update provided by an email as we arrived late."
Bhakti - May 2025
"The caravan was very nice. It was nice to have a dishwasher and there was everything you needed in the caravan."
Julian - May 2025
"We booked to come here as previously visited in 2021 and we really enjoyed our stay. We have just visited again in May 2025 and the reason I have left 3 starts is because the cleanliness of the lodges this time around were very poor. There were an ants all over the kitchen and the lodges were poorly cleaned, the paintwork on the walls definitely need TLC, the whole place felt grubby. We did not have much interaction with the staff however the one occasion we did book an activity through reception the lady had no clue and had to keep radioing through to the pool for help and seemed quite miserable. Staff at the bar seemed friendly and helpful and drinks were reasonably priced. Food was ok, decent sized portions on the kids meals. We had the curry one evening and it was definitely an overpriced ready meal. Pizzas were good."
Holly - May 2025
"A lovely place, It would be great to have a little more information on what we need to bring example toilet roll, you gave indication you supplied it but once it was gone we had to buy it. I would rather you not supply or supplied it There was great staff and a lovely location! It Was tidy well looked after and wasnt far from the Newquay centre. I would recommend some more entertainment! But, other than that I would definitely come again! :))))"
Jodi - May 2025
"The lodge was looking quite tired and not up their usual cleanliness."
Donna - May 2025
"Brilliant price hot tub amazing big clean caravan"
Russell - May 2025
"Brilliant accommodation in a superb location. Has everything needed for a lovely holiday"
Verified Guest - Apr 2025
"Nice caravan. Some of the cooking utensils were a bit worse for wear and being a dog caravan, some of the carpet did have a slight odour. Other than that, no issues."
Gemma - Apr 2025
"Everything you need in a stay, very happy with our accommodation"
Hannah - Apr 2025
"The site was easy to get too, location was very central, Staff are friendly and helpful and have good local knowledge. The facilities are clean and accessable and there is a good range of activities on the timetable"
Natalie - Aug 2022
"Lovely place to stay, caravan was lovely and clean would give 10/10 to stay in, staff was lovely and polite and would help you if needed. The only thing I would suggest is to have more play areas for children like swings slides ect as there was not much activity for young ones to entertain outside. Always pre book the restaurant as we got turned away because we didn’t book a table and they told us we had to get the takeaway option and go back to the caravan to eat it. They wouldn’t let us eat it at the table we were sat on. Although it’s a family resort the bar called last orders most days at 21.30. So maybe extend it."
Sharron - Aug 2022
"Great holiday resort lovely accommodation very clean! Only disappointment was the restaurant very restricted opening times!"
Alison - Aug 2022
"Brilliant holiday park. Lots of things for kids to do, they loved everything about it. The caravans were superb, clean, plenty of room and lovely site."
Janice - Aug 2022
"The lodge was beautiful and in a fantastic location. The staff were amazingly helpful and so kind and polite. The reception and main centre was wonderful with a lovely pool and spa, fantastic restaurant with good quality food at a very reasonable price, lovely outdoor space to sit and enjoy the sunny weather. I would recommend this resort to everyone."
Daniel - Aug 2022
"Great location for what we needed to explore Cornwall and it's beautiful beaches. Very happy with our stay."
Thy - Aug 2022
"Fantastic place, lovely staff and beautiful surroundings. Location was lovely and quiet. Facilities were great and goactive activites were brilliant and very well organised. Accommodation was modern and very clean. Would 100% come back next year."
Teresa - Aug 2022
"Fantastic time at piran meadows, clean van, towels and baths miniatures plus washing up and tea packages which was a very unexpected welcome touch. Early check in phone call from staff member once van had been cleaned so an absolute bonus. Staff helpful, professional and when we had a problem with our fridge they sent someone to look at straight away to fix it. Facilities clean and very well laid out. Kids loved the Astro/pool/splash pool, pool tables. Only gripe was availability of the bar/food being open for longer in peak times but overall a fantastic stay central to everything. Would highly recommend."
Eve - Aug 2022
"We stayed in a Wadebridge 2 carvan and it exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, size and facilities. Little extras such as washing up items, shower items etc.. were a lovely touch. Park was in a great location and I was able to easily access local beaches and towns by car. Staff were really friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face. Pool was basic but great on rainy days and being able to use the sauna / steam room was great. The site is quieter than others but that is what I was looking for on this particular holiday so a thumbs up from us. We had a lovely week."
Michelle - Aug 2022
"Great site, great staff they couldn't do enough for us."
