Sun Haven Holiday Park Reviews

"We really enjoyed our stay in the shepherds hut. The beds were super comfy and it had all the amenities we could ask for. The shower was powerful and really hit the spot after a long day. The hot tub was definitely the highlight - perfect for relaxing in the evening. Only thing missing was a tiny ironing board, but no biggie!"
Emily - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our spontaneous getaway, the place was perfect and super comfy. Will definitely return!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel really welcome and were super helpful, even when I had a bit of a strange request. The grounds are lovely and well looked after and the shop had everything we needed. Our cabin was just perfect - super cosy and fully equipped, so we didnt mind a rainy day at all. Honestly, wed definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break!"
Jamie - Nov 2024
"The price was pretty decent for that time of year, honestly."
Emma Jacobs - Nov 2024
"Our Sun Haven Holiday Park review: We stayed here for the first time in September and honestly, it was pretty lovely. We booked a standard pet-friendly caravan, though I must say, its quite on the cosy side - definitely better suited if youre only there for a short stay or dont mind a bit of compactness. We had a little hiccup early on with the caravan, but the staff at reception were fantastic - super helpful and quick to sort things out. We were moved to a new place within half an hour, so no real hassle there. The site itself has a peaceful vibe, perfect for unwinding and we really enjoyed the woodland walk to the beach - about 15 minutes each way, which was just right. We also appreciated that the small shop stocked emergency supplies, in case you forget something at the supermarket. The laundrette is a bit pricey, but handy if youre in a pinch. We checked out some of the other caravan options and have already booked for 2025 - the luxury and premium ones look great and will be better for us, especially with the dogs and needing more space. The standard pet-friendly was a bit tight, but manageable. The only downside was the cleaning - some bits could be a lot cleaner, with stains and build-up in places, though I always bring wipes with me. The carpets could do with a clean too. I dropped my towel on the bedroom floor and found it covered in what I think was leftover makeup from a previous guest. But overall, we loved it and are really looking forward to next year!"
Harper - Oct 2024
"The place was big and comfy, perfect for a quick trip. We did get some flies, but it didn't ruin our weekend at all!"
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were friendly and helpful, making everything easy. Perfect spot for a chilled, peaceful getaway. Would definitely recommend!"
Emily - Oct 2024
"Really appreciated the friendly staff and spotlessly clean environment. Made our weekend truly special, thanks!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"We stayed in a shepherds hut recently and overall, it was quite a pleasant experience. The place was spotless and looked really nice, which we appreciated. The staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming, though we didnt see much of them after that. The weather was pretty wild during our stay, with two windy nights that made the hut sway a bit - it was a bit unnerving! It wouldve been nice if someone had checked in to see if we needed anything or offered to help stabilise things, like taking down the parasol that contributed to the sway. Still, we didnt bother asking, so no big deal. We did leave feeling a little more exhausted than when we arrived, but honestly, the beautiful site and great location more than made up for it. Definitely worth a visit!"
Oliver - Oct 2024
"The caravan was spacious enough, even with the two-bed options sold out. No worries, we still had a comfy stay and plenty of room to relax!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"Great service, highly recommend"
Emma Taylor - Sep 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were lovely. The lounge was super comfy too. Only downside was the carpets, which couldve been a bit cleaner with less dog hair."
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay! The place was super comfy and the views were stunning-perfect for relaxing after a walk in the woods. Everything you could need was there, from hairdryer to dishwasher. Loved the privacy too, with the layout and angles. The terrace was a highlight, great for dining outside surrounded by nature. Highly recommend!"
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"Really liked this place; its tidy, well kept and ideally situated at the hills foot. Great spot!"

Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this peaceful spot. The walk to the beach took about 20 minutes, which was quite pleasant, but its also easy to drive and park right across the road if you prefer. Its the perfect place if youre after a quiet, relaxing break. The onsite team were super friendly and really helpful throughout our stay. The site itself was spotless and looked after really well. Our van was also very tidy and had everything we needed, which made things so much easier. Theres a small shop on-site thats surprisingly well-stocked, although we also drove to Morrisons about 20 minutes away for extra supplies. Wed definitely recommend this place and the lovely team running it. Thanks for a great break!"
Emily - Jun 2024
"We stayed at Sun Haven for the first time recently and honestly, were already planning our next visit. The staff made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The caravan was spot-on for a relaxing break and the surrounding countryside and coastlines are stunning. Fat Jacks BBQ and Off The Path Coffee are definitely worth checking out too. Cant wait to come back!"

"We had an amazing time here! The staff were so friendly and always ready to help. The site itself was spotless and well kitted out with everything we needed, plus some handy leaflets about local attractions and days out. We stayed at two different parks over ten days, but honestly, we wish we'd discovered this place earlier - its so much better. The accommodation was super comfy and clean, the WiFi worked perfectly and we loved the little touches like biscuits and tea on arrival. Definitely a place well return to!"
