"Lodge was great, had everything we needed, comfortable sofas and bed. No real view, ,we were overlooking other lodges. Only downside was greasy tins in the oven, sorted straight away and swapped for new ones."

This two bed had one ensuite in the main bedroom and the second bedroom had two single beds next to a well designed bathroom.The living the living room and kitchen area were combined, but there was enough space to even have a dining for breakfast or evening meals."
"Our Padstow Holiday Village review: The staff at Padstow holiday park are delightful. They are very pleasant, considerate and down to earth. The grounds of the park are kept immaculately as are the facilities. The kids really enjoyed the playground and the shop was laid out really well and was open a decent amount of hours. The accomodation was spacious, modern , well decorated and fairly clean. The welcome gifts were also a nice touch and made us feel valued and welcome. The beds were really comfy and the showers are brilliant. My 6ft 2 husband was delighted that he could easily move around and not have to duck anywhere and could have a normal shower that was above his head. Not having to sort bedding and towels made it feel like a proper relaxing holiday. The few minor things that I noticed with the accomodation didn't impact our holiday but might be worth noting:The showers had mould on the silicon and were a bit dusty round the edges.There were cobwebs in the master bedroom and the lights needed a clean.The walk in Wardrobe in the main bedroom the door wouldn't shut (like it didn't fit the frame)The hairdryer provided was full of dust at the back leading to a burnt smell when using it. The carpet in one of the smaller bedrooms was completely thread bare near the door entrance.We couldn't find any plates on the first day, which resulted in our dinner going cold. Turns out the plates were in the dishwasher that hadn't been emptied by the cleaner (it was full of clean stuff).Some of the lightbulbs weren't working.The lock on the family bathroom door was broken. The breakfast bowls were really small."
"We had a lovely stay at Padstow Holiday Village, we stayed in lodge 26 which was very well equipped and presented. Liked the little touches such as milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, package for our dog and washing up cloths etc.Overall a very enjoyable stay."

"We arrived late and you accommodated that which was very appropriated. We brought with us everything expecting no supplies of any kind and youd covered all our needs so we settled in quickly. This just levelled up the stay for us. The kitchen was like home from home with clean crockery and dishes. The only thing Id flag is the gas hob sometimes had trouble lighting, may not have fully been on the base. This was the only thing, everything else was spot on. We also popped along to the bar one night and the cocktails were excellent. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable and hopefully be back again sometime."
"We recently stayed at Padstow Holiday Village and honestly, it was one of the best places we've ever been to. The two bedrooms each had their own ensuite, which was such a bonus and everything was supplied - towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo - no fuss at all. The kitchen was spot on, fully stocked with washing up liquid, sponges, dishcloths and even rubbish bags. All the appliances like the cooker, microwave and fridge freezer worked perfectly, which made our stay so much easier. The place was double glazed, so it stayed warm, even when it was chilly outside. We loved relaxing in the comfy lounge with proper sofas and one even doubled up as a sofa bed for our extra guest. The veranda was a lovely touch, with comfy chairs and a table, offering great views. All in all, wed definitely recommend Padstow Holiday Village - really enjoyed our stay!"
"Excellent accommodation. The best we have stayed in and we have been to many sites. The two bedrooms both had ensuites and were equipped with towels, soap , shower gel and shampoo. The kitchen has washing up liquid, sponge and dishcloths. Also food waste and rubbish bags. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed in perfect condition. The cooker and microwave worked perfect also, the fridge freezer. The accommodation was double glazed and the heating was brilliant if it turned cold. There was a smart tv so that you could access your own aps. The lounge was very comfortable with two proper sofas one of which was a bed settee for extra guests. We had a veranda that was equipped with comfortable chairs and table with lovely views. I would really recommend Padstow Holiday Village."

"Lodge was excellent plenty of space for 6 adults and a dog. Decor was beautiful and it was equipped with everything you need for a week away with the family. What really stood out for us was how friendly and helpful the staff were. From reception, cleaning staff to groundsmen nothing was too much trouble and you were always greeted with a smile. We loved the atmosphere of the park and we will definitely be recommending it to family and friends. We look forward to our next visit."

Camel Creek is a family adventure park near Wadebridge in North Cornwall. The mix includes thrill rides and rollercoasters, outdoor play areas and animal areas, so there is plenty to fill a day. Its indoor play space covers 45,000 square feet, which means a wet day need not spoil the plan.

Newquay Zoo is a 13-acre zoo and garden site in Trenance Leisure Park, in the middle of Newquay. It is the largest zoo in Cornwall, and its planted grounds have won a Britain in Bloom Gold award. Visitors can see hundreds of species, including lynx, penguins, otters, zebras, sloths and meerkats, in a mix of indoor and outdoor habitats.

A Cornish sanctuary and animal park that rescues owls and shows species from around the world.
Screech Owl Sanctuary & Animal Park is a home for owls and other animals on Goss Moor, near Indian Queens in mid Cornwall. Founded in 1990 by Carolyn Screech, it shows owls from around the world, with British, European, African, American, Asian, Australasian and West Indian species. It also rescues and rehabilitates wild owls in Cornwall, and there is a Siberian Eagle Owl breeding project.
Tip: If you want an owl or animal experience, call ahead to book, as busy periods may mean walk-up requests can't be fitted in.

Prideaux Place is a grade I listed Elizabethan country house in Padstow, completed in 1592 and still the family home after fourteen generations. The 81-room house combines the traditional E-shape of Elizabethan architecture with 18th-century Strawberry Hill Gothic touches.

Walk through one of the world's largest indoor rainforests, set in a reclaimed china clay pit near St Austell.
The Eden Project sits in a reclaimed china clay pit in Cornwall. At the bottom of the pit are two huge domed Biomes made of inflated cells on steel frames. The Rainforest Biome is one of the largest indoor rainforests in the world, with tropical plants such as banana, coffee, rubber and giant bamboo. The Mediterranean Biome has olives, grape vines and sculptures.
Tip: Check the opening times page before you set off, as last entry to the Biomes and closing times change through the year, and some dates are closed.

A Victorian country house, colourful gardens and almost 1,000 acres of parkland and woodland to explore above the River Fowey.
Lanhydrock is a Victorian family home inside a Jacobean mansion, once lived in by the Agar-Robartes family. Most of the interiors were rebuilt after a fire in 1881. Inside, you can see the Long Gallery with its ornate ceiling, and families can play in the refurbished Victorian nursery.
Tip: It is busiest between 11am and 2pm, so arrive later in the day for a quieter visit and shorter queues for the house.

Zip wire, giant swing, karting and an inflatable aquapark in a flooded Cornish quarry.
Adrenalin Quarry is a family-owned adventure park in Menheniot, built around an old flooded quarry. It offers five rides: an inflatable aquapark for ages 6 and over, go karting on an 800m all-weather track for ages 7 and over, a zip wire that is 50m high and 490m long, a giant swing 150ft above the lake, and axe throwing for ages 12 and over.
Tip: You can book all rides online ahead, or just turn up for the zip and the giant swing.

A remarkably intact circular castle keep above the River Fowey, with battlement walks and wide countryside views.
Restormel Castle stands on a high, deeply ditched mound overlooking the River Fowey near Lostwithiel. Its huge, almost perfectly circular keep is one of the best-preserved of its type, and it was once a luxurious residence linked to the Earls of Cornwall and Edward the Black Prince.
Tip: Bring a picnic to enjoy at the castle, and combine your visit with a walk in the Fowey valley.
