St Mabyn Reviews

"We recently stayed at St Mabyn and honestly, it was just what we needed - super peaceful and away from the hustle. The lodge was pristine when we arrived-spotless, really. It had everything we could think of, including a washer/drier, which was a lifesaver. The hot tub? Absolutely brilliant. Its kept in top condition with two check-ups a day, so we felt really looked after. The location is perfect for those wanting a quiet getaway, surrounded by countryside, with no noisy entertainment options, which suited us fine. One small thing wed mention is that some blackout curtains or blinds in the bedroom would have been nice, especially since it gets quite bright at sunrise and that might be a bigger issue in summer. Were used to blackout curtains at home, so its just a personal preference. Still, overall, our stay was fantastic and exactly what wed hoped for. Thanks for a lovely break!"
James - Mar 2025
"The lodge was just what we needed-super comfy and with all the little extras for luxury. The hot tub was a real treat after exploring all day. Peaceful and so relaxing!"
Emily Carter - Jan 2025
"From the moment we arrived, we could tell the cabin was spotless and well looked after - really impressed. Its fully stocked with everything youd need in the kitchen, from pots and pans to cutlery and plates. Nice touch with the tea biscuits, scones, clotted cream, jam and even some Cornish cider - loved that! The living room was cosy, with comfy sofas, a TV and an electric fire to kick back and relax. The bathrooms were spotless, with his and hers sinks, a bath and a shower - everything youd want. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, we enjoyed every second in it. The staff coming round each morning for maintenance was a good sign and they were super friendly too. The bedrooms were spacious with walk-in wardrobes, though the mattress was a bit firm for our liking. Overall, a beautiful place, we had a lovely time and would happily come back again!"
Alex - Jan 2025

Emma - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge had everything we needed and that welcome pack was a lovely surprise."
Emily Carter - Aug 2024
"We had a fantastic week in one of the away HT plus lodges. The place was super clean, big enough for us to relax properly and felt really luxurious. The WiFi was surprisingly good - it handled all our phones, tablets and streaming needs without any issues. The TVs came with Disney+ and Netflix, so we were sorted there. The hot tub was a real highlight and it was clear the staff kept it in perfect shape with twice-daily maintenance. Little touches like the welcome pack with milk, cider, scones, cream and jam made us feel really welcome. Were already planning to come back next year!"
Jamie - Aug 2024
"We had a really lovely time at St Mabyn. The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed for a chilled stay. Its peaceful there but still close enough to explore the coast easily. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Wed definitely go back!"
Emma T. - Jul 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at this lodge! The beds were super comfy and having private gardens with patio furniture was a lovely touch. The hot tub was spotless and relaxing. Can't wait to come back again, it was just perfect for us!"
Emma Collins - May 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the hot tub was a highlight."
Alex - Mar 2024
"We had such a lovely weekend here! The setting was stunning and super peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was incredible and the team really went the extra mile with a birthday card and little surprises for us. Definitely planning to return soon!"
Emily - Mar 2024
"Honestly, I cant fault this place at all. We drove straight onto the site and parked right outside our lodge-no fuss at all. The staff were lovely, super friendly and really helpful. They showed us exactly where our lodge was and answered all our questions, which was really reassuring. Inside, the lodge was cosy and well-equipped: a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, plus a twin room and another en-suite shower. Wi-Fi was spot on and the TV had all the apps we wanted like Netflix and Disney+. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a fridge-freezer, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine-really thought of everything. We were welcomed with a lovely hamper, which included a bottle of prosecco, milk, butter, bread, jam, coffee, tea bags and sugar-such a nice touch! Outside, there was a hot tub and a table with chairs; the staff came twice daily to check the hot tub, but we were never in it when they came, so no bother. If we needed anything, staff were just a call away. All in all, its a fantastic spot and were already planning our next visit. Definitely recommend!"
Alex - Mar 2024
"We stayed during February half term and had a really lovely time. The staff were super friendly and always willing to help. The park itself is beautifully landscaped, which makes it feel so relaxing. Our lodge was spotless, well equipped and looked almost br and new. The hot tub was definitely the highlight for us, we loved relaxing in it after a busy day. Honestly, wed happily come back and recommend it to everyone!"
Emma - Feb 2024

"We really enjoyed our long weekend here. The lodges are super comfy and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful touches like fresh goodies from the local farm shop. The hot tub was a definite highlight! Big thanks to all the staff for making our stay so lovely. Well be back!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely break booked last minute and the peaceful setting really made it special. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home. Not sure if we'd pay full price, but for a quick getaway, its perfect to explore around!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"We loved our stay here! Perfect spot for exploring North Cornwall - Polzeath, Rock and Padstow are all within easy reach. Definitely coming back someday!"
