"We had such a lovely stay in this good place! The location is gorgeous and really private, perfect for relaxing. The owners were genuinely friendly and always there if we needed anything, but they didnt intrude on our space. The hot tub was a real treat after cycling around the area. Just a heads up - its right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after a while, but if you're sensitive to noise, just keep that in mind. Overall, wed definitely go back!"

"We stayed at the lodge recently and honestly, it was pretty lovely overall. The views are stunning and the place was spotless, which we really appreciated. The hot tub was ready and waiting when we arrived - perfect way to unwind. Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help us with a couple of minor issues, like some lights not working initially, but they sorted it quickly. There was also a DVD/Blu-ray player that wasnt functioning when we arrived, but they replaced it straight away. If were being picky, there was a tiny mark on the bedroom window that looked like someones face had pressed against it and a few small tears in the bedsheet, but honestly, it didnt bother us much. On our last night, we noticed the spa bath wasnt working, but I was pretty sick (food poisoning, nothing to do with the lodge), so I didnt get a chance to mention it. Overall, a great stay, just a bit of a shame about the late check-in time, especially since we paid extra for the lodge."

"We decided to have a spontaneous weekend away and stayed here. The caravan was really comfortable, surprisingly spacious and spotless when we arrived. Everything we needed was there, which was handy. The hot tub outside was a nice touch and the pool was perfect for relaxing. The shop had all the essentials and the kids loved the play area. Well definitely return!"

"Overall, the caravan was pretty nice, though a few issues stood out. The ensuite WC is tiny and I had to keep a window open in the lounge since most dont open. The veranda gate needs fixing and the open-top bin wasnt ideal for a pet-friendly space. It did feel a bit drafty at night despite the heating. Not bad, but could be better!"

"Lovely staff… lady and man very helpful in every way possible.
Difficult with eating out on wed/Thursday off season due to club house closed and no other pub open in area.
Difficult for dog walks but that is easily resolved just jump in a car and go out.
We will not return but that is not a reflection on the owners, we just didn’t fit in ."

"Everything was great at Bucklegrove, 2 suggestions I would make that would have made the experience evem better
1. To have some sort of screen for the hot tub so that their is privacy from the neighbours as well as from passers by.
2. Wifi - Although it was not advertised as wifi provided, when we got there they said wifi was available, however the signal was too weak to function and mobiles were not picking up their signals from providers either.
The upside with no wifi was that kids couldn't stay in their rooms but were forced to interact"
