About Landal Dylan Coastal Resort

Set to open its doors soon, the luxurious Laugharne resort and Milkwood Spa has world-class views over the Taf estuary and Gower Peninsula. With tall mountains, rolling green landscapes and woodlands criss-crossed by walking trails as its surroundings, the resort is developed with peace and tranquillity in mind. Moreover, access to long stretches of golden sands in the area make this resort the best place for exploring South Wales.

The numerous amenities on site are designed with the luxurious pampering of guests in mind. The resort has a well-equipped gym, an outdoor infinity hydrotherapy pool and a sauna and herbal steam room. the children will also immensely enjoy the play area on site. there is also a restaurant and bar with panoramic views perfect for enjoying a meal with your family.

The lodges are elegantly designed, offering luxurious comfort. The View is a chic cosy lodge with 2 bedrooms, a spacious open plan living area and a stylish kitchen. Doors lead to a decking area with furniture and outdoor hot tub with views across the Taf Estuary. The Glan y Mor Lodge is perfect for big families or small groups with one double and two twin rooms and an open plan living area. The lodge also has outdoor decking with a hot tub to relax in.

Should you decide to venture out of the resort grounds there is lots to discover in this beautiful area. The Llansteffan castle offers a great peek into the wonderful Welsh history and the village also has numerous little shops to indulge in a little retail therapy. The St. Governs Chapel and Lamphey Bishops palace are also just a few miles away.

The Llanstephan Beach, Pendine Sands and Pembrey Beach are all beautiful beaches, perfect for days spent exploring the sandy stretches and the cliffs, caves and rockpools, just a short walk away from these beaches. To keep fit and explore the beautiful Welsh countryside, there are various trails like Happy Valley Walking in the Snowdonia National Park or Oxwich Bay Walk with its trails along coastal habitats. the day can also be spent at the Canoe centre in Llandysul indulging in a range of sports like canoeing, archery, rock climbing or kayaking.

The Blue Lagoon, one of the largest indoor water parks in Wales is also just a few miles away. Nature lovers can also pay visits to the numerous gardens in the resort’s vicinity. We definitely recommend the Aberglasney Gardens located in Tywi valley of Carmarthenshire, often cited as inspiration for poetry for over 500 years.

Laugharne Resort and Milkwood Spa is the perfect luxurious retreat for making sweet memories with your loved ones.

Landal Dylan Coastal Resort Reviews

"Amazing accommodation. Extremely clean, comfortable and warm.High quality fixtures and fittings through out.Amazing place to stay beautiful views over the estuary."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"We stayed in Epic Spa 7. The lodge was very modern and well equipped with everything you needed! We honestly didn't want to leave so we've already booked to go back in a week's time (we are staying at Dylan spa next time). The hot tub was really lovely and well worth having if you enjoy them! We did have other lodges in front of us but still had lovely views of the estuary. The spa area was probably one of the best I've been to. There was a heated pool, a sauna, steam room, heated stone beds and a hydrotherapy pool and the views were outstanding! We practically had the spa to ourselves most of the time! We also booked a top to toe massage and a facial and they were 10/10. So relaxing! We ate in the restaurant one evening and the staff were beyond friendly, all making a fuss over my little boy. We can't wait to return to see them all. The concierge service was EXCELLENT taking you back and forth between Milkwood house and your lodge. If I had to write a negative it would be that under the sofa was very dusty and you could tell it hasn't been hoovered for a while (there was an old bib under there) but that's easily sorted. All in all, if you're looking at booking here I would 100% go ahead with it. You won't be disappointed."
Jordan - Jan 2024
"The Dylan resort is absolutely perfect in every way. The lodge was stunning with breathtaking views, the pool and spa is just so relaxing. Restaurant was lovely. Staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. All in all a perfect place to stay . We will be returning for sure to this beautiful resort."
Mark - Jan 2024
"An excellent resort with first class facilities and the most fabulous views over the estuary! Very modern holiday lodges on a hill which allows all of the lodges to share the awesome surroundings. There is a wonderful spa, swimming pool and restaurant area that was very easy to use and also took advantage of the natural panorama."
Peter - Jan 2024
"The views, spa facilities and home comforts made for a wonderful 3 night family break. We had amazing winter sun that added to our enjoyment and the ever changing magical views made for a very relaxing stay."

"Brilliant lodge, brilliant location, brilliant facilities. The pool is excellent!"
Christian - Jan 2024
"Fabulous holiday, immaculate, accommodation, five star resort"
Paul - Jan 2024
"Lovely place to stay but very hilly, not suitable for people who struggle with hills etc. We had to use the car to get to the swimming because we was so far away from the main facilities, they do offer a taxi service within the resort. The facilities and lodge was outstanding but for any advise on improvements maybe add stairs or short cuts to the milk wood house. We was staying at milk Wood and was so close to the main facilities but if only there was a path going down to the facilities instead of going all the way around the site to access it."

"Couldn't fault it. Nothing was too much trouble. Every single member of staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was spotless. We were able to sit next to the windows each time we dined which gave us spectacular views of the Taf Estuary."

"Very nice comfortable lodgeRestaurant prices are expensive. Spa prices expensive."
Annette - Jul 2023
"We all loved this stay and we will definitely go back. We stayed 4 days and I wish I had booked for the full week. Great location, professional helpful staff."
Brian - Jul 2023
"Beautiful although accommodation lacked some attention to detail IE no frying pan, no dustpan. Sofa a little basic and had some stains. Overall though a great resort."
Maria - Jun 2023
"Everything that was required was there, lack of information made things difficult. A very noisy spa and temperature fluctuation meant we could not used the spa when wanted. All the following made the experience not as it should it been: single beds were not made into a double as requested, not everyone had a gown, lack of tissues and toilet paper and of course were not able to use the spa. Floors very dirtRestaurant menus were not the same on the lodge as in the restaurant very disappointed Run out of lager. Unable to have lunch in the restaurant as they stated they were very busy only one table had people"
Isabel - Jun 2023
"We were upgraded as the resort was quiet, we had an amazing 3 bedroomed lodge. Beautiful."
Kelly - May 2023
"Fantastic 3 night stay. We stayed in sonnet with hot tub, accommodation was immaculate . Highly recommend this resort ."
Hannah - May 2023
"The windows were a bit the worse for wear, some it was difficult to see out of as the double glazing had failed and the glass was cloudy. The blinds in bathroom and toilet did not work. We found the kitchen area very badly lit, but overall things were fine."
David - Oct 2016
"nice house. Beautiful view over the sea."
Trudy - Sep 2016
"Clean and tidy, well equipped. Lighting , awkward, overhead bed lighting only operated from one side although individual lights."
Paul - Sep 2016
"The view was slightly improved when farmer cut the hedge in front of the lodge during the week."
Patrick - Sep 2016
"very pleased sette very low"
Diane - Sep 2016
"We chose a gold lodge which was well equipped and had been freshly paintec. It was large, bright and airy. We made use of the games room and the crazy golf. Shame the clubhouse was not open but its only a short walk into Laugharne for shops, pubs and restaurants.
The park itself is very hilly but not a problem for us, its well cared and tended for and the views are stunning."

Fiona - Aug 2022
"We had a great break. The lodge had fabulous views of the estuary and the spa facilities were great. The staff at reception and at the spa/restaurant were very responsive and helpful."
Garry - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely holiday. We stayed in Ferry Hills, the view is just breathtaking and sitting in bed in the master suite looking out onto the estuary was lovely. The property was well equipped and clean. We used the spa everyday as the kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Only drawback to be honest was the sales staff chasing us trying to get us to either buy a property or a timeshare, on the second day of our holiday we were called 5 times and then several the next day- basically Until we agreed to meet them, kind of put a dampener on our holiday to be honest, it wasn’t what we were there for, we were there to relax."
Samantha - Jul 2022
"Absolutely stunning setting overlooking the estuary. The lodge was top quality and the swimming pool and changing facilities were excellent. Would highly recommend."

A quooker instant boiling hot water tap. The resort facilities were outstanding and the views were beautiful. Location was perfect, the castle and small town of Laugharne is within walking distance."
