Excellent quality caravans with all the comforts of home. Accommodation comprises of one by double bed, two single beds and a double pull out sofa bed. All our Platinum caravan range feature double glazing, central heating a veranda and table and chairs.

"The hot tub could of done with cleaning during the week or PH levels checking. I requested a few times and no one came. We have been to a lot of places with hot tubs and they are usually checked daily. The site offers a wonderful free cooked breakfast. Unfortunately we only went twice as we had to wait 2.5 hours without explanation on the second day. The rest of the place was beautiful, by the beach and we had a great holiday. Thank you"

"Having stayed in previous hot tub lodges elsewhere I would class this as a standard and nothing higher. If you stay here make sure you bring the extras such as an iron and hairdryer as these are not provided. There was no doormats so had to use the towels we had brought when coming in from the hot tub. We did report this so may have been rectified. There is no privacy when using the hot tub and you are overlooked on all sides by other caravans which could be off putting for a lot of people."
"We stayed in this caravan recently and while it was okay, weve experienced places with better amenities. Some accommodations had washing machines, dishwashers and even Bluetooth speakers, which felt a lot more modern. No TVs in the bedrooms either, which was a bit of a letdown. The bathroom carpets seem outdated nowadays and we found it odd that we had to bring our own towels even in a platinum stay. My husband reckons once a caravan hits a few years old, it shouldnt be called platinum anymore. Still, it did hold up in 65mph winds - fair play to that!"

"Caravan clean and well equiptment. Could not get wifi in caravan despite paying £15 seemed to be a black spot. Couldn’t get into pool fully booked on arrival even tho hardly anyone in each session. Entertainment staff lovey and bar staff friendly. Area could do with more variation when it comes to food."

A 37-acre zoo near Colwyn Bay with chimpanzees, red pandas, otters, lemurs and a children's farm.
The Welsh Mountain Zoo is a zoological garden near Colwyn Bay in Conwy County Borough. It covers 37 acres and has been open since 1963, so it has built up a good range of animal areas over the years.
Tip: Check the zoo's website before you go, as the sources note that animal exhibits such as the sea lions have changed over time.

A well-preserved Edward I fortress with battlement walks and views to Eryri and over Conwy's harbour.
Conwy Castle was built by Edward I between 1283 and 1287 and is part of a World Heritage Site. Eight large towers and a high curtain wall still stand, and it has the best preserved set of medieval royal apartments in Wales. The ruins are split into an inner and an outer ward, with a Great Hall undercroft and chapels to explore.
Tip: Climb the spiral staircases and walk the full battlement circuit if you can. Cadw highly recommends it.

One of the UK's largest zoos, with over 30,000 animals, indoor habitats and five adventure playgrounds.
Chester Zoo is a conservation charity and one of the UK's largest zoos, covering 130 acres with over 30,000 animals from more than 500 species. You can explore over 10 indoor habitats, including the UK's largest tropical biodome, and walk through the lemur area to get close to the troop. The Monsoon Forest habitat and award-winning gardens add plenty more to see.
Tip: Book online in advance to save on gate prices, and parking in the zoo car park is free.

Walk through Bronze Age copper tunnels on the Great Orme, then explore the surface workings.
The copper mines on the Great Orme were uncovered in 1987 during a landscaping scheme. They date from the Bronze Age, long before the Roman invasion, and are thought to be the largest prehistoric mine discovered in the world so far. Archaeologists, cavers and mining engineers are still uncovering more tunnels and surface landscape.
Tip: It's cold underground (5-8°C), so bring warm clothing and sensible footwear; the floor is uneven and wet in places. Pushchairs and wheelchairs can't do the tour.

An independent aquarium on the Menai Strait showing British marine life, with seahorses, octopus and lobsters.
Anglesey Sea Zoo is an independent aquarium and marine conservation centre on the south coast of Anglesey, near Brynsiencyn. Over 40 tanks show native British sea life, including octopus, lobsters, seahorses, conger eels and jellyfish. Highlights include the No Bone Zone for invertebrates, a wolf fish lair, a real crashing wave, a shipwreck and a kelp forest full of big fish.
Tip: No need to book ahead, as tickets are bought on the door. Standard and family tickets stay valid for 6 days after the day of purchase, so you can return for free in that time.

A Grade I listed Neo-Norman castle near Bangor with an internationally important art collection.
Penrhyn Castle is a country house at Llandygai, near Bangor in Gwynedd, built in the style of a Norman castle. Thomas Hopper rebuilt it in this Romanesque Revival form between 1822 and 1837, and it is Grade I listed. It is regarded as Hopper's finest work and as one of the most important country houses in Wales.

Edward I's unfinished, near-perfectly symmetrical moated castle on Anglesey, part of a World Heritage Site.
Beaumaris Castle on Anglesey was the last of Edward I's royal strongholds in Wales, designed by James of St George beside the Menai Strait. Four concentric rings of defences, a water-filled moat with its own dock and a near-perfect symmetrical plan make it a striking sight.
Tip: Use the main town car park opposite for the most direct route in, and watch for two-way traffic there.

The first of Edward I's Welsh castles, with a unique isolated keep and views over the Dee Estuary.
Flint Castle (Castell y Fflint) was the first of the castles built during Edward I's campaign to conquer Wales, and it sits on the western shore of the River Dee estuary. Its ruins are looked after by Cadw, and access is free via a path. Most of the site, including the keep, is open to the public.
Tip: Head for the spiral staircase in the north east tower to reach the viewing platform over the estuary.
