Islwyn Llandyrnog Reviews

James Carter - Oct 2024
We had a great weekend at the house. The owners really did a fantastic job with the renovation - pictures don't quite capture how lovely it is in person. The pool and hot tub definitely added to the atmosphere. We'd recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing time with loved ones. Thanks for a lovely stay!
James - Sep 2024
Beautiful house in a lovely spot, perfect for big families. The host was really friendly too!
Oliver - Aug 2024
Beautiful setting, but a few quirks here and there.
Oliver - Aug 2024
We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. The setting is perfect-peaceful and secluded, with stunning views and amazing sunsets, yet close enough to Denbigh and the coast. Luckily, the weather was sunny and warm, but there's plenty to do indoors if not. The owners were super friendly and helpful. We're already looking forward to coming back! Definitely recommended.
Harriet - Jul 2024
We had a fantastic stay at Islwyn! The house is so lovely and thoughtfully equipped - we found everything we needed. The view is truly breathtaking, especially the 180-degree panorama across the fields to the mountains. The kids loved the games barn, pooland cosy snug - it really made the trip special. The flower meadow was perfect for a little kickabout and badminton. Despite being in the middle of nowhere, it's surprisingly easy to get to the beach, Snowdoniaand Portmeirion. We even managed to get a takeaway delivered - brilliant spot!
Emma - Jun 2024

The indoor heated pool was a real hit with the kids, especially on rainy days. The place is super well-equipped, from kitchen gadgets to logs for the fire pit. Overall, a fantastic stay for our family - we'd definitely come back again!

We had such a lovely stay! The family running the place are genuinely helpful, giving great tips on local spots to visit. The house itself is beautifully decorated and finished to a high standard - it really feels special. The heated pool was a real highlight, with towels and shower rooms undercover, which was handy. There's a BBQ, fire pit, games roomand a big open-plan kitchen/living area - perfect for relaxing. The views are stunning. We'd definitely come back. Thanks for having us!

We had a really lovely stay! The location is great-rural but still close enough to shops and activities. The cottage was spotlessly clean, modernand well stocked. It's spacious and perfect for both kids and adults. The owner was so attentive, communication was smooth. We loved it so much, we're already booking for next year!
Emma - Feb 2023

We had a fantastic stay! The house was even nicer in real life than on the website, with really lovely decor and high-quality fittings that made it feel so cosy. Little touches like fudge packets, ice cream in the fridgeand the kids' ice cream kit were a lovely surprise. The owner was super helpful and looked after us well. We've already recommended it to friends and would definitely love to come back sometime!
Emily Carter - Nov 2022
Honestly, we had an amazing time here! The views are absolutely breathtakingand we couldn't get enough of them. Waking up in the master bedroom was such a treat. The owners really went out of their way - there were toys, books for the kidsand even pool floats and goggles, which was a nice touch. The location is perfect for exploring the areaand there's plenty to do. Three nights flew by way too quicklyand we're already planning our next stay. Would definitely recommend!
