Charlotte - May 2025
"We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage has everything you could need and despite being on a working farm, it felt super peaceful. The hosts were really friendly too. Definitely recommend!"

"We had such a lovely weekend stay here! The place was perfect for what we needed and were already planning to come back. Our dogs really enjoyed the underfloor heating and the garden; Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it - the vet said its from all the excitement! Happy pups, happy us!"

"We needed a relaxing break with the dog and this place delivered! The accommodation was lovely, plus there are loads of fields and off-road walks nearby. Pubs and eateries within walking distance too. We didnt want to leave!"
James - Oct 2023
"We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels really private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely and friendly. The place is surprisingly spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was super comfy, which was a bonus. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and nicely furnished. There are loads of walks nearby and Thaxteds restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!"
