Warren Lodges (formerly Herbage Country Lodges) Reviews

"Lovely weekend, peaceful site ."
JUDY - May 2025
"Lodge needs cleaning and modernising. Basic equipment lacking I.e. not enough plates/glasses, everything needed washing before bring used."
Verified Guest - Mar 2025
"The lodge itself is really roomy, with comfy bedrooms and a large living space. The estates got loads of activities like a pool, gym and golf. Just wish there were more utensils and crockery and the hot tub needed a clean."
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"I came over from Canada and this was the best vacation I've ever had, staying at #17 Warren Lodge!!! It was everything I had hoped for and sooo much more!! My husband and I will absolutely be coming back to stay at this wonderful and amazing lodge! Thank you for the great memories!!!!"
Tanya - Sep 2024
"Our Warren Lodges (formerly Herbage Country Lodges) review: The lodge itself was comfy, though it definitely needs a bit of a facelift. The hot tub was fantastic and had all the essentials. Signal was pretty rubbish and Wi-Fi was almost non-existent, but the location was perfect for exploring and just a short trip to London. Would stay again!"
Emily Carter - Jul 2024
"Really happy with the TV and furniture, everything works perfectly!"
Alex - May 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay. The chalet was comfy and roomy, just a bit in need of some sprucing up. The hot tub was a real highlight and the layout offered good privacy."
Oliver - Apr 2024
"Perfect spot for peaceful days, highly recommend!"
James - Dec 2019
"Really enjoyed the trip, just wish wed stayed a bit longer to soak it all in. Would go again!"
Martin - Aug 2019
"Nice spot overall, though the lodge feels a bit worn out and could do with a makeover. Hot tub's a lovely touch!"
Sarah - Aug 2019
"We found the place very comfy and spotless, though some furniture, like the bedroom pieces and the broken blind, could do with an update."
Clara - Apr 2016
"We couldn't believe how lovely Meadowl and Lodge looked in real life - even better than the photos! Everything was spotless and the appliances worked perfectly. We had a fab stay!"
Harper - Aug 2015
"We had such a lovely stay! The cabin was beautifully decorated, super cosy and felt really personal, like someone put a lot of thought into it. The hot tub was a real highlight and the views were stunning. Only downside was the outside veranda, which wasnt looked after very well."
Alison Roberts - Jun 2015
"We had a really lovely 4-day break at the lodge, honestly, it felt just like home after a while. The place was so peaceful and perfect for relaxing, exactly what we needed. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - such a treat! Only small hiccup was with the oven; the dials were upside down, which was a bit confusing. But props to management for sorting it out quickly with the handyman. Wed happily come back here, its just a great spot for a chilled getaway. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet retreat!"
Charlie - Mar 2015
"We could've really used a collander and a hair dryer, but everything else was brilliant! We absolutely loved the hot tub."
Chloe - Jan 2015
"The fridge was damaged and the back door had issues with locking, which was a bit of a pain. But overall, the lodge was stunning! We really enjoyed our stay."
Mark - Dec 2014
"We found the accommodation to be modern, clean, large and really comfy! The hob didnt work in a few areas, but apart from that, everything else was great, except for the hot tub issue. The WiFi is quite limited and the signal could really use a boost, so itd be worth having a router closer or even in the accommodation."
Anna - Nov 2014
"The lodge layout was lovely and well equipped. Beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful! There were a few light bulbs out in the lodge and we found some bits from previous guests like loom bangles. Also, the lights on the hot tub werent working. Although these didnt hinder our stay, it would have been nice if everything was working properly."
Sophie - Nov 2014
"We loved our stay at this beautiful lodge! It was so cosy and inviting. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying our time together. Would definitely recommend!"
Hannah - Nov 2014
"The lodge was just fantastic! The place was clean, cozy and had all the necessary amenities. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. The location was also great, close to everything we wanted to see. We had a really lovely time and would definitely recommend it to others! Just a tiny spelling mistake in the menu, though, but it didn't bother us too much. Overall, a wonderful experience!"
Jessica - Nov 2014
"The lodge was stunning both inside and out! We absolutely fell in love with it all!"
Claire - Oct 2014
"We had a lovely, relaxing holiday! The place was well equipped, clean and the hot tub was just perfect, even when we arrived."
Laura - Oct 2014
"We think this is a really good holiday venue and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family!"
Tom - Oct 2014
"We had a lovely holiday here, it was really quiet and peaceful! Just a heads up, though, the driveway could use some attention. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."
Jack - Oct 2014
"We found everything we could want in this log cabin. It was cosy, well-equipped and truly felt like a home away from home. The location is ideal, surrounded by nature, which made our stay even better. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway! It's a lovely spot to unwind and recharge. Can't wait to go back!"
Sam - Oct 2014
"hot tub problems completely spoilt the otherwise lovely lodge and reduced the value of the holiday. There was also some issues around a door, shower and ceiling leaking which I reported to staff. If the hot tub had been working all week (we only had it fixed on the Wed) the holiday would have been much better value for money and scored much higher."
Jocelyn - Aug 2014
"We found the accommodation to be very good, although we did notice the prices went up for the school break."
Simon - Aug 2014
"We loved our stay at this well-equipped and comfortable lodge, especially with the hot tub. It was just what we needed!"
Lucy - Apr 2014
"The accommodation was absolutely lovely very vey clean and they had thought of everything lovely little touches. The staff were amazing so very helpful and before we finished our break we booked to go back. Amazing."
Donna - Jul 2022
"Stayed with family and had the freedom to come and go, although there were a lot of lodges I still felt we had privacy, only complaint was the kids couldn't go in pool after six but overall we had a lovely time"
Noreen - Jul 2022
"This lodge is beautiful, in a gorgeous location and the Lodges are not too close so you get privacy. Few little bits niggled me initially but really ot worth the bother in the long run. Reception extremely helpful the one time we needed them"
Michaela - Jun 2022
"We had a lovely time. At arrival we found out that the hottub wasn't working and the staff let us change with another accommodation."
Ccile - May 2022
"The staff were helpful and polite, i have stayed in lodge 26 before and saw the improvement to the decking and the new hottub, the decor of the lodge looks a little tired and is in need of redecorating, torn wall paper in the bathroom and a couple of other locations also the strings to the blinds need repairing or replacing. The location is great abd the swimming pool abd gym to a high standard"
Lynn - May 2022
"Great time thanks"
Paul - Apr 2022
"Lovely surroundings, staff very good, didn't use pool or gym but looked good."
Elizabeth - Apr 2022
