Swainswood Leisure Park and Spa Reviews

"Nice relaxing few days away"
Jill - Aug 2020
"Had a great time but a bit pricey."
Lorna - Jul 2020
"Very lovely and would definitely visit again"
Chriss - Jul 2020
"Very happy with the lodge the only thing that has let it down is trying to get my deposit back. I paid in cash as was advised on the booking that this would mean I would get my money back quicker than if I paid on card. Couldn't get my deposit back in cash as lady didn't work when we were checking out but was advised I would get money back two days later by bank transfer. More than a week after the promised payment date and still not definitive answer as to when I will get my deposit back. This is the only aspect of the booking I have had difficulty in."
Natalie - Mar 2020
"Cannot rate the lodge high enough... was perfectly laid out, facilities were 10/10 and the lodge was lovely and warm."
Carla - Mar 2020
"Loved every second and managed to get an early check in and a late check out!! Bonus!"

Alison - Jan 2020
"Lovely relaxing family break. Good location and fab hot tub"
Rhea - Dec 2019
"Really relaxing and beautiful lodge"
Laurel - Nov 2019
"A fantastic experience from the phone call the day before right up to check out. Mel deserves a special mention as absolutely nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile and can do attitude. The lodge was perfect and equipped with everything you need (a plastic jug and a wooden spoon in the kitchen would be useful) the master bed was a good size and lovely and comfortable and the central heating ensured we were toasty all weekend. The kitchen layout is brilliant and even gave me some ideas for my upcoming remodel! Mel managed to sort us some spa treatments while we were there and Samantha in the spa was very professional and knowledgeable. The crowning glory of this lodge is of course the hot tub which is out of this world! Its secluded and not overlooked, maintained perfectly and was a constant 40 degrees from the second we checked in. We will definitely be back as a family and I'm already planning another trip with 2 friends. Thank you to all at Swainswood"
Rebecca - Oct 2019
"Need to have on site entertainment"
Martin - Oct 2019
"Can't wait to come back again."
Kath - Oct 2019
"We stayed in the woodland View (Lodge 5) is a beautiful layed out lodge and very homely, your given your essentials to last the first few days, like dishwasher tables, washing up liquid ect and milk, tea, coffee, sugar. On the first day we couldn't get the heating to work, after a quick message some was over in minutes and was very effective and polite and got the heating working for us. We took out 11 month old with us and she love it, so much room for her to move around, a couple of down sides (didn't effect our holiday) was that the kitchen has a few bits that were broken on the doors of the cupboards so we're abit Sharp, and a couple of the table chair legs were broken too, other than this it was a great week the staff and everyone was so friendly and would definitely return."
Jayde - Oct 2019
"Nice lodge, owners left us tea and coffee etc, a spa on the park (which we didnt see or use) not far from burton town centre"
Georgie - Oct 2019
"Really good lodge! Fitted 4 people in easily."
Robyn - Sep 2019
"we had a really lovely time, thank you x"
Kelsey - Sep 2019
"Me and my partner loved it here! The lodge was beautiful and was very clean and tidy. We arrived later on through the evening and were welcomed instantly, the manager went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed and he was very friendly. The hot tub was in full working order and we had everything we needed for our stay. We really wanted to stay another night we enjoyed it that much! so we will be back again for sure. The town is local which is convenient and the site was beautiful, an amazing weekend all together.
Thank you. "
