Sarah - Mar 2022
"We had an amazing time- the hideaway was lovely, we fell for a great weekend. The rooms were lovely, everything we needed and the two fridges were handy. Comfy beds, wonderful hot tub- just a lovely relaxing weekend. Only issue and it’s a non issue, the settees weren’t very comfy- but honestly, we will be back. Amazing. Thank you ?"
Erica - Mar 2022
"Loved our time at the Sherwood Hideaway - Great escape to get away from it all and celebrate the Wife's birthday with the kids (& dog)"

"A lovely site and perfect base to explore Sherwood Forest"
Amanda - Feb 2022
"We had a lovely break last weekend, the surroundings were peaceful and it was lovely to get close to nature. We would love to come back here again sometime in the future."
Rita - Jan 2022
"Really nice cabin but a little further cleaning wouldnt have gone amiss and change of towels during a 7 day break with five people would have been appreciated. We prob could have asked but think this should have been a given"
Caroline - Aug 2020
"Very comfortable and clean lodge. Lots of useful extras, such as cushions for the outdoor dining set."
Natasha - Jul 2020
"Fantastic lodge with private woodland. The perfect Hideaway "
Louise - Jul 2020
"Number 4 was a lovely lodge. There were no champagne flutes and we struggled cutting fresh bread as there was no serrated knife. On a positive note the location was perfect and the hot tub was very clean. It also had a BBQ which we used as the weather was great"
Lisa - Jul 2020
"We had a lovely 4 night break with our friends joining us from the North it was half way for both parties.
Our lodge was lovely and warm and welcoming, a couple of issues which were promptly sorted next day, handle missing on outside door to patio and fire would not work properly main bedroom sink plug did not hold water
Lovely wine and chocolate greeting and also pooch treats did not use the towel as we bring our own
Nice big towels and gowns to use
Well ewuipped
Our settee a little tired plus quite dusty on the back
We left as we found cleaning the floor and leaving it all tidy"
Victoria - Feb 2020
"Our lodge at Sherwood Hideaway was perfect for our family. 2 good sized bedrooms, spacious living/dining area, all clean and smart. Very helpful staff, hot tub was great and the dog loved the walks on the Thoresbury estate."
Steve - Feb 2020
"Lodge was perfect apart from lukewarm shower."
Jenny - Feb 2020
"Lovely holiday will recommend"
Gillian - Feb 2020
"Had a wonderful time and would certainly recommend. Sorry I dont know how to upload photos."
Barbara - Feb 2020
"Brilliant would recommend this for a peaceful long weekend after Christmas"
Katie - Jan 2020
"This place is good for dogs, we left our dog (large breed) outside when needed and he was well enclosed. There is a tap outside to wash muddy paws and a dog towel provided with treats which was a nice touch. Inside is just spacious enough to have a large dog too. Great walks in all directions surrounding your cabin."
Jamie-leigh - Jan 2020
"Overall we really enjoyed our stay and not one of us wanted to come home thankyou."

Leah - Oct 2019
"Very cleaning and comfortable lodges."
Jay - Oct 2019
"Lovely accommodation"
Gary - Oct 2019
"Hot tub jets weren't easily understood on arrival and appeared to have been set wrongly by the last occupants resulting in weak jets for 2 nights until we had the sense to ask the reception to help - it was then resolved swiftly. Sadly, hen we arrived, we noticed that the last people had failed to wash up meaning that there was crusty old onion on the spatula. I have a photo, but i think it also signifies that room checks could be more stringent during handover."
Bianca - Oct 2019
"We thought the lodge was excellent, but we wouldnt go back because of the hot tub."
Jeanette - Sep 2019
"Very happy to return there, if you want to relax and disappear, this is the place."
Chris - Sep 2019
"after many months of health issues we needed a little stress free peace and quiet and we found this in abundance - the only downside was that the long weekend wasn't long enough but we WILL be back"
Christine - Sep 2019
"Dont tend to go to the same place twice but we will definetly be going back there"
Ann - Sep 2019
"Simply outstanding on all accounts which is why Ive rated this as I have.
Cant wait to return next year!"
Angela - Sep 2019
"It's really a super little gem in the forest, nothing commercial, you can walk for ages in a beautiful forest. Dog loved it too, and if you dont feel like cooking the local take away will deliver.
Really lovely helpful people who run it. We will definitely be back soon!"
Francesca - Aug 2019
"Go, at least once. Enjoyed the area with plenty of outside activities and loads of Robin Hood folk law which will stimulate imaginations young and not so young."
David - Aug 2019
"Wonderful and we cant wait to return."
Lara - May 2019
"I will certainly be booking again"
Kathryn - May 2019
