Top 5 Haven Holiday Parks with Kids Clubs

Written By

Unless you’ve had children yourself, most people probably won’t even think twice about booking somewhere with a kid’s club. But as we discovered when we had our two, it not only makes for a great break for them, but for the parents too! So let’s dive into what haven has for offer at their parks for the wee ones in 2026.

Haven have 38 parks dotted along the British coastline and kids’ entertainment comes as standard in every stay. They operate something called the Play Pass system. Book a Haven package and you get access to free entertainment and can book swimming slots and other activities.

Its not just sitting in a room colouring in tired printed characters either. expect things like The Seaside Squad where characters Annie, George, Jaz and Rory run interactive shows and sessions from morning until evening. They know what they’re doing… they’ve been entertaining families at Haven parks for over 30 years!

Haven parks also have the classic heated indoor pools, a dedicated entertainment venue and a family restaurant.  While we can’t cover them all in this article, here are five standouts we love.

Lakeland Leisure Park

Lakeland Leisure Park sits on the edge of the Lake District and is the only Haven park with its own on-site water sports centre. Kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and pedalos are all available and coaching sessions mean complete beginners can have a go too.

There are heated indoor and outdoor pools plus an Aerial Adventure course to keep adventurous children busy! (Parents have some fun too – For 2026, a brand-new JD Wetherspoon pub is arriving as part of a £9 million investment). It will be the first holiday park Wetherspoon in Cumbria!

So what will they be doing at the Kids’ clubs? There are activities from arts and crafts to circus skills. The Little Cubs club caters specifically for toddlers with sessions like Messy Morning crafts and B Fit exercise classes. The Marina Lounge hosts all the evening entertainment while parents can grab a drink and watch the shows.

Just two miles away you’ll find Holker Hall with its 23 acres of formal gardens. Cartmel village is famous for sticky toffee pudding. And Grizedale Forest offers brilliant family cycling.

Berwick Holiday Park

Perched on sloping clifftops overlooking the North Sea, Berwick Holiday Park sits just a mile from Berwick-upon-Tweed train station and an easy walk from the historic town centre.

Enjoy indoor and outdoor heated pools (the indoor one has a water chute!), an 18-hole golf course at Magdalene Fields next door, bowling green and sports courts.

The attractions nearby are genuinely awesome too! Alnwick Castle is about 29 miles away. The real Hogwarts! The first two Harry Potter films used the castle as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You can take broomstick flying lessons in the exact spot where Harry had his first flying lesson. The castle also starred in Downton Abbey as Brancaster Castle.

The Farne Islands lie just off the coast near Seahouses. Book a boat trip between May and July to see around 43,000 pairs of Atlantic puffins plus grey seals basking on the rocks. Sir David Attenborough called this his favourite place to see nature in the UK!

Den building sessions, sand art activities and Football Fun Factory sessions keep kids busy on park. You also have The Seaside Squad performing throughout the day at the ShowBar.

Burnham-on-Sea Holiday Village

Somerset’s coastline offers the best of the British seaside and the park sits just a short walk from the sandy beach and town centre. Shops, cafés, the Art Deco Ritz cinema and restaurants are all within reach.

Kids can try NERF Training Camp which combines paintball-style excitement with basketball speed. Creative sessions include coastal sand bottle making and den building. The Seaside Squad perform on the new outdoor stage as well as inside the showbar.

This park has had some serious upgrades recently with a new Adventure Village featuring a Jump tower and Climbing Wall, outdoor stage, Box Bar and Mini Aerial Adventure for children aged 2 and over.

The park features two panoramic coarse fishing lakes where you can hire pedalos.  Plus heated indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pool has a flume as well as water spouts and sprays for younger children.

Don’t miss Cheddar Gorge and the Wookey Hole Caves – about 40 minutes away.

Riviere Sands Holiday Park

The Times named Towans beach (just below this park) as the best beach in the UK in 2024. And its golden sands stretch along St Ives Bay with direct beach access from the park.

Both indoor and outdoor heated pools feature water slides. The outdoor pool links to the indoor one so you can have some fun swimming between them. The reason it made our list is the brilliant surf and paddle school where experienced instructors offer lessons on the sheltered waters of the bay.

The Coast Café serves up some lip-smacking Cornish treats and you’ve also got The Bluff Inn for hearty family grub. There’s also a kids’ play area and arcade to keep them busy so keep some coins on you.

Kids’ activities include Activikids sessions for 5-10 year olds, Activitots for the under 5s, archery coaching, crazy golf and den building. Mini aerial adventures let even the smallest visitors try a low ropes course.

St Ives is a 20-minute drive for exploring narrow streets and the Tate gallery. Paradise Park wildlife sanctuary sits just outside Hayle. St Michael’s Mount is about 8 miles away.
