Mouse Manor Reviews

Emma - Sep 2024
Just got back from a lovely week at Mouse Manor. The location is spot on, really peaceful and scenic. The house has everything we needed and more - super comfy and well-equipped. Perfect base to explore North Yorkshire’s gorgeous countryside and try out some great local restaurants. We did have a small hiccup with the power, but the owner Tom was swift to respond and checked in afterwards to make sure we were alright. Definitely planning to come back!
Emma Clarke - Jul 2024
We had an amazing stay at this lovely little cottage! The views are truly breathtaking and the privacy was just what we needed. The hot tub, saunaand pool table made it even better. It’s close enough to Leyburn but feels like a peaceful retreat. Definitely coming back!
Emma - Jun 2024
We had a wonderful time at this lovely place! The location is perfect, with fantastic views. The hot tub and sauna were great extras, really added to the relaxation. The kitchen was well-equippedand the quality furniture made it feel really special. There’s just a tiny bit of grass, but plenty of walks for the dog. Loved it!
Sarah - Mar 2024
We really enjoyed our stay at this charming barn in such a stunning area. The place was beautifully decorated, super comfyand perfect for unwinding. Definitely recommend!
Emily - Mar 2024
This spot's great for relaxing, lovely surroundings, perfect for dog walks and friendly pubs nearby. Definitely recommend!
Emma - Jan 2024
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place! The location was perfect for relaxing, with plenty to explore nearby without having to drive far. The cottage was super well-equipped, which we appreciated since we love cooking. Everything was spotless and comfy - the beds and towels were top quality. If you’re bringing your dog, just a heads-up, there’s only a small patch of grass outside, but the quiet lane and nearby river walks made up for it. Definitely a great find!
Emma - Jan 2024
We had an amazing stay at this lovely cottage. Perfect for celebrating my partner’s 50th - just the two of us and the dog. The sauna and pool table kept us entertained for hours! The nearby villages are charming, but honestly, we didn’t want to leave the cottage - it had everything we needed for a relaxing break.
Alex - Oct 2023
Lovely place, felt right at home!
Jamie - Oct 2023
The place was lovely, right in a fantastic spot. Luckily, the weather held upand we had an ace holiday.
Alex - Sep 2023
We had a fantastic stay at the cottage! The views were stunning and it was super well-equipped with little touches of luxury. The electric car charger was such a bonus and made life easier. We did find the TV tricky at first, but eventually sorted it out with some terrestrial channels. Overall, a lovely week in the sun!
James - Aug 2023
We had a fantastic experience at this wonderful property in a stunning location! It was really quiet and beautifully presented, with a lot of thought put into the decor. There were a few things we missed like the hot tub, pool table, saunaand that bath was so big it could have its own tide! It's honestly the best place we've ever stayed in the UK. It isn’t the cheapest option, but you definitely get what you pay for these days. Would we come back? Absolutely! And judging by the guestbook, everyone else seems to feel the same. Hats off to the owners for creating such a great place.
Karen - Aug 2023
The property was amazing. Very well equipped and had amazing views. The hamper on arrival was such a lovely touch. The pool table got alot of use In the evenings by our 11 year old and kept him entertained. 5 stars all the way. I would highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed.
James - Apr 2023
Fabulous location and we really enjoyed our week in the dales. The faulty hot tub and heating of the cottage took the gloss slightly off what was a good break in the dales!
Sophie - Jan 2023
Lovely spot, really well equipped. Cosy and relaxing, just what we needed! Some brilliant walks and a whole load of nothing.
Emma - Apr 2022
Mouse Manor was absolutely brilliant, we really loved the stunning views across the dale. The welcome hamper was such a nice touch and the cottage had loads of extras that made it feel like home. We really enjoyed open plan living and had a great time playing on the pool table in the evenings!
Mark - Mar 2022
Fantastic place to really enjoy the North Yorkshire Dales. Everything you need is supplied, plus having a private hot tub is just the cherry on the top after a day spent walking around!
Mark - Feb 2022
What a fantastic spot for all kinds of groups! Whether you’re with a partner, mates, or family, the cottage and its location are just spot on, with everything you could possibly need.
Emily - Oct 2021
This property is just fantastic with brilliant facilities! The views overlooking the countryside are perfect. We would definitely stay here again. It's like a little piece of heaven!
Claire - Oct 2021
This is a fantastic little good place! It's exceptionally clean and very comfortable, plus the hot tub and sauna were great for unwinding after being out walking all day. The cottage has everything you need for a self-catering holidayand we really appreciated the welcome pack! The views are wonderful, the location perfectand it's all very peaceful—just the perfect base for exploring. The owners have done a brilliant job with this lovely gem and have thought of everything. We can definitely highly recommmend it!
Lily - Sep 2021
Mouse Manor is an absolute gem! The location is stunning and super easy for exploring the Dales. We loved everything about it, especially the hot tub which we made good use of. Luckily, we had fantastic weather, so we lounged on the very luxurious sofas with our morning coffees. The cottage is really well equipped, boasting a large fridge freezer and a washer dryer in the utility room. We were also delighted with the welcome pack which included a cute wooden mouse in a wicker basket along with some lovely goodies that were nicely presented and branded. Highly recommend this place!
