Where's Ladram Bay Holiday Park?
Adrian, Kilkenny Roi
Date of stay: 9th July 2018
We stayed in an Otterton 3.The cleanliness of the caravan was exemplary. It was comfortable and made maximum use of the space. All facilities were at hand.Beds were comfortable.
5 people were staying(2 adults 3 children).Even though its advertised as suitable for 6-8 people, any more than the five would have been cramped. However,as it was it was perfect.
Kimberley, Northampton
Date of stay: 6th July 2018
Such an amazing holiday, the caravan was spacious, perfect for our family of 4. I was pleasantly surprised at how big the main bedroom was so we could fit our 4 month old in with us. The site was brilliant, everything you could ever want! The shop was also reasonably priced which was good as you didnt have to travel anywhere for necessities. We had the carvery from the restaurant which was lovely, Im gutted we didnt eat more there to be honest as the food looked lovely.
Kirsty, Crawley
Date of stay: 22nd June 2018
Absolutely lovely accommodation although it was too hot to use the hot tub.
Maureen, Liverpool
Date of stay: 22nd June 2018
We upgraded to a diamond 3 bed with hot tub! So it was more spacious and better fixtures and fittings.
Phoebe, Bristol
Date of stay: 17th June 2018
Really nice, modern caravan. The floor length windows are a really nice touch, especially if you have a sea view.
Lindsey, Rossendale, Lancashire

Lauren, Gloucestershire
Date of stay: 16th June 2018
Lovely food, and lovely site. Staff are very friendly and even started to recognise us towards the end of the week. We stayed in one of the Seaview apartments and it was lovely, apart from two minor things - There was maintence rooms below and they had some sort of machine running every hour through the night, it was loud enough to wake you up and the door in the halway let a lot of light in when sunrise came. Had to fo out and buy an eye mask to help me sleep.
Sarah, Huddersfield
Date of stay: 11th June 2018
It's the second time we have been to ladram bay and I cannot rate it high enough. The area around it is absolutely stunning. Travelling with a 6month old baby it had everything we needed. There was even formula and nappies for sale in the shop and the pool was great for his first time swimming. We will be back next year as no other holiday Park we have been to compares and we have been to a fair few.
Gemma, Middlesex

Great holiday for the family. Would have been perfect if weather had been better
Jo, Glos
Date of stay: 20th April 2018
The apartment was great. Each bedroom had it's own ensuite! The only down side was the noise coming from whatever was underneath the apartment - some sort of generator or something that would come on and off
Jennifer, Ebbw Vale
Date of stay: 20th April 2018
I wouldn't class this park as 5 star but it is a great place for a holiday or a short break nonetheless. It just needs a few more facilities, especially for cold and wet days.
Nicole, Amesbury
Date of stay: 16th April 2018
Amazing place and the staff were absolutely brilliant and was just an alround great mini holiday
Paula, Horsham
Date of stay: 9th April 2018

Date of stay: 19th March 2018
We had a fantastic time at Ladram Bay. We were just so impressed with how clean and well kept everything was. Sometimes you don't know what kind of caravan you're going to get when you book a caravan holiday but we were really pleased at the standard. Staff are really friendly too. From the staff in the shop, swimming, entertainment, bar staff, wall climbing, restaurant, reception, couldnt fault one of them, they were all friendly. Good job all!we will be back.

Date of stay: 25th September 2017
the caravan was great apart from the cleanliness , it wasn't awful but abit more care could have gone into cleaning it, I had to clean it myself the first day .
Lisa, Southampton
Date of stay: 25th September 2017
Accommodation was much better than we expected. When we drove up I was worried it looked old but they have refurbished the insides to a high standard. Bedroom size was great. Only thing I would ask for is more hooks for wet towels etc.

Date of stay: 28th August 2017
Very modern clean caravan with great views. Beds were really comfy too.
Date of stay: 28th August 2017
Great caravan with gorgeous views over the bay. Only downside is the hassle of hiring items having to get a cot ourselves and put it in the caravan ourselves when I'd been told it had already been done before we arrived, also only accept cash deposits when lots of people don't carry that much cash around. Another negative was how dirty the floor was, my one year old was filthy. However it's still a great caravan which was very comfortable.
Kristy, Cornwall
Date of stay: 28th August 2017
Loved it. Very impressed.
Freda, Shropshire

Nikki, Coventry
Date of stay: 4th August 2017
Lovely clean caravan, spacious, good length beds in children's room and bonus en-suite in main bedroom. Sea view and close enough to reception, shop and take away etc, far away enough from entertainment not to hear it! Loved the location of caravan and the location of the site.
Mark, Minster
Date of stay: 31st July 2017
Great place, food in the restaurant reasonable, great entertainment, swimming pool is brilliant (indoor is a must due to English weather). Climbing wall a fantastic addition and very reasonably priced.

Date of stay: 15th July 2017
Great van. Great park. Good staff. Fabulous facilities. Wonderful location. Only downside (and not the park's fault) are the seagulls - don't plan on eating outside your van unless one of you acts as seagull scarer!
Anne, Wincanton
Date of stay: 15th July 2017
Very good best park we have visited so far ticks all the boxes.

Date of stay: 26th June 2017
Lovely caravan don't need to take anything other than towels. Spacious and comfy :)
Sandra, Fareham
Date of stay: 24th June 2017
Nice and modern 3 bedroom caravan with two toilets and one shower. double glazed with central heating. Comfy sofas, new carpets, modern decent size kitchen with great size fridge freezer and oven. Only downside was the bedrooms are quite small but bed was very comfortable.
Samantha, Christchurch
Date of stay: 24th June 2017
Our caravan was lovely. The only reason it doesn't get a 10 is because of the oven in the kitchen. It was rubbish. It took 40min to cook something that should have only taken 20mins.
Helen, Bolton
Date of stay: 24th June 2017
All v. clean . Excellent shop. Staff v. pleasant. Garden areas lovely. did not use other facilities
Maureen, Liverpool

Blown away by how clean and spacious the otterton 2 was. Definitely recommend!
Pauline, Dundee
Date of stay: 16th June 2017
The otterton 2 is a really good caravan , we were pleased with its proximity to the shop, laundry and restaurant, the cafe down on the waterfront is really good as well.
Jane, Wigan
Date of stay: 12th June 2017
very comfortable caravan and well equipped, great view of the sea. not as clean as we would have liked, the kitchen area had dried food all round the worktops and it was very sticky. also some of the windows had childrens sticky handprints on. another weird thing we noticed was when the children in adjacent caravans were running up and down inside, we could hear the feet padding up and down, up and down! would have been nice to have a BBQ
Paul, Desborough
Date of stay: 3rd June 2017
Lovely clean caravan, marked down for value for money due to doubling of price for half term holiday week
Rosemary, Wedmore
Date of stay: 26th May 2017
Only great value as not during school
Holidays - the x3 price hike would not be value for money despite how great the place is
Wendy, Devon
Date of stay: 22nd May 2017
Cant fault the place.
Patsy, Liverpool

we had a good holiday at ladram bay, caravan was good value for the money we paid. grandchildren love it hear they have the freedom to play has the park is safe for them,we will be returning again next year if not before.swimming pool is clean some of the staff on duty at the swimming pool could look and do there job they are paid for has some of the girls just sat there looking bored and letting people do what they wanted in the swimming pool which at times could have ended in a accident happening that is only what i observed the site you could not wish for better very well run and kept very clean and tidy.

The caravan for a doggy van was pretty good.(we have stayed else where it seems to be OK to put dog owners in grotty accommodation ). Spacious and clean with 2 Loo's which was a bonus. My only real gripe would be that the vans were pretty close together.

David, Houghton Le Spring
Date of stay: 3rd June 2016
We are used to staying in lodges, so caravan's feel a lot smaller however we had this for just the four of us so we all had a room each which was so much better. The living area was great and facilities in the caravan perfect for our needs. The only thing I didn't realise before visiting was that towels in the caravan were not provided, but you could rent them.
Bernice, Windsor
Date of stay: 23rd May 2016
Had another great stay with my mother this time - She is slightly disabled so was slightly worried about getting her around, but had no problem whatsoever - very happy.
Site was very clean, well staffed, had excellent facilities and safe.
Only one slight gripe and that was that the restaurant took too long for food to be served (even when there was only a few tables).. This, when you have young children and hungry adults really does let this site down. The food when it finally did arrive was good.
Mike, Winchester
Date of stay: 21st May 2016
This will be our second visit to Ladram the site and facilities can not be faulted the surrounding walks are brilliant if I had one criticism it would be that the accommodation we stayed in could have had blinds or nets at the front.
J, Paignton

Date of stay: 8th April 2016
Great van for our family of 5 plus our dog! Easily fit his large crate in the lounge and had space left for us!
Good kitchen area.
Just could do with gravel on the area where the car is parked as ends up like a mud bath outside the van in bad weather!
Date of stay: 25th March 2016
A great value for money holiday.
Lucy, Rushden
Date of stay: 18th March 2016

We stayed in the Otterton 3 there were 5 of us all adults my sister being a larger lady and there was more than enough space for us all to be comfortable. To our surprise there were two toilets in the Otterton 3 one in the shower room and a single toilet on its own it was great. On our arrival it was clean and tidy well cared for and looked after it had everything we needed to get our holiday off to a great start.

Caravan superb. Only thing missing was somewhere to dry wet towels and swimming costumes The rail to attach to window wasn't really adequate. A rotary dryer would have been better but this is nit-picking

We booked a midweek stay in early September. First impressions were really good as the accommodation was a brand new and well equipped caravan. There has also been a lot of investment in facilities and the pool complex is the best Ive seen in a long time, especially for younger children.

Id been to Ladram Bay 40 years ago as a child and the beach itself hasnt changed other than the addition of the shack hiring boats and kayaks, which are great in such a sheltered bay. My six year old loved the bay, swimming (in a wetsuit), kayaks, our inflatable dinghy and a spot of fishing. Most of all though he loved the rock pools!

The club at the park is really clean and of high quality, albeit the drink prices are not cheap, the shop is really well stocked and no more expensive than mini markets back home. The food from the takeaway was a mixed bag, the fish we had was very poor, but the chips were very good. Prices again were very reasonable. We only ate at the Pebble restaurant once and the food was reasonably priced and decent. My only gripe was paying £1.70 for a fruit shoot, which was £0.69 in the shop!

The entertainment team were fantastic, both at the daytime activities and evenings in the club. My son loved the crazy golf, which as in most parks is a fee paying activity. He also loved the adventure playground/assault course!

If wifi is important to you, the service was ok in the pool complex, poor in the club and not worth paying for in the accommodation! If they could sort out a decent service, this would be a welcome addition. Having said that, it was great to have a traditional holiday in such great surroundings and we didnt miss the internet that much. In fact this park is what I think holidays should be about, family time, fun, open air, a clean uncrowded beach, and just enough activities and facilities, without being like run of the mill holiday parks.

We had a fantastic few days, without exception the staff were fantastic and the facilities and services were brilliant. We will definitely be back for return visits.

We had a lovely holiday. All the staff were friendly, helpful and available. The shop was well stocked and not overpriced. Otterton is a delight and there's plenty of things to do, great walks too. Beer, Sidmouth and Exmouth were all different and special places. The swimming pool is superb. The life guards were attentive and kind. My personal preference is for a sandy beach... But everything else was lovely. Thank you

We found the apartment to be very comfortable. We were especially impressed with having our own designated parking space. The only problem was the generator in the maintenance department below which would start up at all times of the night. We had read a review just before our stay and this was highlighted as being a problem. We are surprised that nothing has been done to rectify this as we could not find a fault with any thing else on the site. After all we were on holiday and didnt expect to be woken at 5am every day.

Considering this was the only caravan available for pet owners, we were delighted with the condition, it was spotlessly clean, the furniture and fittings were in excellent condition, and we even received a welcome pack of essentials. We have had numerous holidays at various 'Haven' sites, which haven't even come close to this one. In future this will be our first choice.

The caravan was lovely and clean. The only complaints we had were:

The bracket on the outside to hold the caravan door open was broken.
The clothes airer was broken
The water temperature was never right. It was either too hot or too cold. Once we had a suitable temperature for the shower the tap in kitchen was always cold.
The remote control for the TV didn't operate the DVD Player

The only complaint regarding our holiday,we don't think having to pay for WIFI is fair, and the shop is a little expensive, especially as it's obvious holiday makers will need to get contents that is needed. But the site and the caravans are EXCELLENT

Our 5 day mid week break proved all we (as a retired but reasonably agile couple) had hoped for in a comfortable van on a well maintained site with good facilities & great walks along coastal path, beach with sea stacks & rock pools in a quaint setting. Out of full season it was relaxing & quiet but plenty of interesting places in local area to visit.

As a group of 8 young girls, we all had a great time at Ladram Bay. We enjoyed playing bingo, watching the on-stage entertainment, playing crazy golf, swimming and sitting on the beach. The location of the park is fantastic, with it being surrounded by wonderful scenery. All of the food that we had in the Pebbles restaurant was delicious and we would definitely visit again.
Some improvements that would make the park even better would be longer shop/fish & chip shop opening hours. We also had one issue with the arcade and the change machine taking a £20 note. This wasn't dealt with particularly well by the arcade staff and was the only real negative with our stay.

stayed in a ladram diamond 2 static home with a hot tub, 2 adults 1 toddler and one baby. static home clean with modern new decor! would want any more people in the caravan than we had though. Hot was was the best maintained of any where ive stayed, how ever it wasn't quite as private as I hope as the diamond range are close together, But the hottub was really well looked after and very clean so it had a lot of use and our 3 year old loved it 2! disco and adventure play ground were a massive hit with our 3 year old.

Ladram Bay is a fantastic place to stay from accommodation right through to location it has something for everyone plenty of places to visit nearby and of course its own beach, my daughters especially loved the pebble beach and looking in the rock pools.
We stayed in the Otterton Premier 2 caravan and there was nothing I could fault, the caravan was better than I expected and it even had partial sea view, the added bonus for me was a large fridge in the kitchen which was useful as we were there for a week and I had ordered a tesco delivery.
The restaurant pebbles, we only had one evening meal in there and we were a bit disappointed in the food we received but not enough to complain about it, the fish and chip shop takeaway was great, and if you feel like going further afield then try the Kings Arms in Otterton only 5 minutes away and the food is fantastic.
The swimming pool changing area has been upgraded with underfloor heating which is lovely and warm, the changing rooms themselves were always clean and tidy, the pool is been upgraded in November I think.
The only thing that would of made our holiday better is one of the caravans on the front with full sea view, but these were all booked up. We are looking at dates for next year to stay in Ladram Bay again thank you for a great holiday Ladram Bay.

Excellent site although the club does need something more as the layout is not the best and the drinks prices were quite expensive. My daughter loved the park and we all loved the beach, we even had freshly caught lobster cooked for us which we ate on the beach.

Ladram Bay was a lovely site, good friendly staff & good on site security.. Lots to do & keep kids entertained, direct pathway to pebble beach.
While we were there the caravan flooded & my (just turned 3) son crushed/fractured his finger while bowling..
Staff helped great with both incidents & couldn't have asked for much more from them.. It also rained on & off for the whole week in August we went & we were still able to entertain kids!
Over all holiday was great & enjoyed by us all xxxx

Ladram Seaview Apartment was outstanding. The accommodation was modern, clean and well equipped. I liked the fact that there were 2 bathrooms in the apartment with walk-in showers. We had some lights out in one bathroom which were replaced the same day by the friendly staff. The only down side was that beneath the apartments is a small sewage pumping station. Although there was no smell from this it was quite noisy and would often run during the night. This was mentioned to one of the grounds maintenance staff who said it should not operate during the night. It did seem quieter after this was mentioned.

OK, so the best thing about this holiday park is definitely the location. Its beautiful. The beach is more picturesque than a sunbathers paradise.
Forget about sandcastles...Kids will love collecting pebbles and searching for crabs.

The simple thought to detail...the beer garden surrounding the kids park means a lovely cool drink whilst watching the kids play.

The sun terrace overlooking the sea....never over crowded even though we went during the hottest week.

The swimming pool was lacking the fun factor of other parks but it was sufficient. It is undergoing refurbishment and the new changing rooms, sauna and steam room were clean and modern looking.

We stayed in a diamond with hot tub. The hot tub is a lovely full size one with all settings and coloured lights. Although these are not secluded and it was over looked by neighbouring caravans, we were not disappointed. If you want a romantic hot tub holiday then this is not the accommodation for that. This is a caravan park after all.

The accommodation was stunning. I am a travel agent. I used to specialise in UK holidays and been to many holiday parks...the accommodation here is modern and clean. My only gripe was the lack of cupboard space and a very small main bedroom...the hall way was extremely spacious but would rather have the space in main bedroom...I struggled getting into bed at one side and I'm a size 8!

Another thing was, we had paid for the top range caravan and the free wine was lovely touch, would have loved to arrive on holiday and not have to make up my own beds....life's too short!

Other than that, the accommodation was beautiful.

Food in the restaurant not a la carte..a bit disappointing at times..but carvery was lovely although no Turkey left despite arriving 45 mins prior to finishing. We were not told of no turkey before paying for our food. Although the beef was nice. Just more of a turkey person!

The villages surrounding the sight are beautiful chocolate box cottages.
Must go to sidmouth...plenty if little shops and cafes along the beach front.

Would be useful to have a bed side table andn bed side lights beside the beds. Also a mop to dry the floor when coming in from the hot tub. No mirror in one of the bedrooms.
We had a fantastic holiday . The whole place was spotless and had everything you could possibly need and more.the pool and facilities were great.
We had a wonderful holiday at Ladram Bay. We were lucky with the weather ... it rained the first two days and then the sun shone in an almost cloudless sky. If it had rained all week I don't think we would have enjoyed it so much as the facilities are a bit skant, especially compared to some other holiday parks. However, the views, the quality of the accommodation and helpfulness of the staff made up for this. We would definitely come back again.
Superb holiday location and facilities. Spotlessly clean facilities and site; well kept grounds, no rubbish. Would thoroughly recommend the site and staff.
Just amazing start to finish!
Had a great time at Ladram Bay very friendly staff. Clean tidy park would definitely return.
Love this Park, have been coming here since 2008. Facilities have improved a lot since then (except miss the Bowlingo), but with that has come higher prices - hence not a perfect "10".
Loved it the beach
Loved this place, lots to do. Restaurant and cafe a bit expensive but the chippy was a bargain. The shop was very reasonable. Lodge was beautiful with the added bonus of the hot tub. Would like to book again for August but the prices are extortionate, which is very disappointing.
Lovely holiday park with gorgeous sea views. Evening entertainment was perfect for the kids - would definitely recommend. Just a shame the beach is pebble/stone!
Myself and my partner spent a week here at Ladram Bay and had an excellent week. I've been before with family but not in a few years. I like how everywhere seems to have been gradually updated, it freshens the site up. All the staff at reception, the restaurant, the shop and in the activity areas around the site were always happy, smiling and friendly whenever seen. Can't wait to go back!!
It was a lovely location for a break, however I did feel that some of the prices were on the steep side due to the remoteness. It was either a long drive or pay the extra.
One of the best sites we’ve been to
Lovely location and accommodation was fresh and clean, hot tub was a great added bonus!
