You're just 16 miles from a great day out (or two!) in city of Aberdeen. Whether your scene is poking around the popular Aberdeen Maritime Museum or getting stuck into some of the City's fab restaurants, or you fancy kayaking journey along the serene River Dee. Aberdeen is packed with great activities and outdoor experiences for everyone.

Aide from the City, there's plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. You've got a rustic local pub within 5 miles and a shop to stock up on goodies for the lodge. Take the famous Castle Trail (7 miles), Whisky Trail (10 miles) or head down to the award-winning Aberdeen Beach and enjoy a leisurely stroll along this beautiful stretch of coastline (16 miles away).

Golfers will love the nearby 18-hole golf course in Inverurie (5 miles away), and several nature reserves (within 15 miles) are all within easy driving distance.

We had a wonderful family stay at Nef Stedi near Inverurie. The property is beautiful, peaceful and very well equipped we didnt need a thing during our stay. The warm welcome from the owner made us feel right at home straight away.As a family of four, we enjoyed exploring the area. We visited the local town, a nearby beach where we watched the resident seal colony, an ice cream parlour, and had a fantastic day out at Fraser Castle. The hot tub was a real highlight and the perfect way to relax after our days out. We were even lucky enough to hear an owl nearby in the trees on one of our evenings.We couldnt have asked for a better base for our holiday and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful place! The hostess is amazing, extremely welcoming and accommodating. NefStedi is amazingly well appointed, there wasn't a single thing we needed that wasn't provided. Spacious, clean and stunning. Our teenager loved the upstairs as his own private area to escape. 100 recommended. Thank you so much.

Excellent property in a good location. The back bedroom has a Velux window which makes sleeping difficult in high summer. The adjacent shower needs maintenance to the water flow valve and the showerhead slider. The property would benefit from having its name displayed at the entrance from the road.

Lovely, modern property. Extremely clean and well maintained. Everything you could need in the kitchen for cookingeating at home. A nice touch, having adult and childrens books and games to use. Diane, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The welcome pack and delicious homemade cupcakes was very much appreciated. Location of property is very good for travelling to various NTS sites in the area, coast and Aberdeen etc. Beds were extremely comfortable with lovely bedding and towels. Separate towels even provided for the hot tub. Can highly recommend a stay in this house, in beautiful Aberdeenshire.

Had a lovely time . The cottage was set in a lovely spot in the countryside. It was lovely and clean comfortable beds had everything you needed. There was a lovely welcome pack which we all enjoyed. Would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful week at NewStedi. Beautiful property, extremely well appointed didn't have to keep washing mugs as so well stocked!,very comfy beds, great showers etc. We all loved the hot tub. Diane was one of the best hosts I've met so warm, friendly and full of ideas of things to do if we asked. She responded to any queries very promptly. The only slight issue was a high vellux in one of the bedrooms that doesn't have a blind didn't affect me as I was in another room but the sun streaming in woke the occupants early. Won't matter in autumn or winter. Otherwise a fantastic property in a beautiful area with a great host!! We would definitely go back there.

This is an exceptional cottage, extremely well equipped, home from home beyond expectation e. G. lap trays, wine bottle stopper, loads of cutlery, glass ware etc and even luxurious towels for the hot tub. The welcome pack was beyond generous, the beds very comfortable and the layout was very convivial for socialising when cooking. Secluded setting but accessible for all sight seeing. Diane was very welcoming and unobtrusively helpful. One of Syke's best, would definitely recommend. Thank you Diane for a lovely week.

A fantastic holiday house! The house is very clean, well equipped and comfortable and is really spacious. The hot tub was excellent and kept in tip top condition. We thouroughly enjoyed our short break at Nef Stedi and only wished we could stay longer. Nef Stedi had everything you could possibly need and Diane provided all those lovely little extras that made our stay even more memorable. She even brought around a lovely whisky to calm the nerves on our Daughters wedding morning. We would definately use NefStedi again in the future even just for the delicious cup cakes.

Cottage suited our needs completely. Was travelling with elderly mother so having a bedroom and full bathroom with walk in shower, on ground floor, was exactly what we needed. Upstairs equally well equiped.Lovely and warm, full kitchen, including freezer, we felt very much at home.Beautiful countryside but close to amenities and easy to find thanks to good instructions.Will definitely use again when in the area.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, we couldnt have wished for a better place to stay. Diane was very welcoming and treated us to delicious cup cakes, Prosecco and various essentials for a cup of tea after a very long journey from Herefordshire. There was everything we needed for our stay, from fluffy bath towels to wonderful under floor heating and the hot tub was an added bonus ! Would definitely book again . Thank you
