Stratheck Holiday Park Reviews

"We stayed in the forest pod recently and honestly, it was great value for money. The private hot tub was a real treat and the Bluetooth speakers in the ceiling added a nice touch. Plenty of space, two TVs and free WiFi made it perfect, even on rainy days. Definitely worth the extra cost!"

"Really enjoyed the stay"

"We had a lovely stay! The cottage was charming and the scenery around was absolutely stunning. Staff were friendly and super helpful too."
Hannah - Aug 2024
"We had such a lovely time here! The spot was perfect for us and our dog - he loved running around those big fields at the front. Its great that dogs need to be on leads near the lodges and caravans, but the open space made it easy for him to stretch his legs. We can't wait to return!"
Emily Carter - Jun 2024
"Our Stratheck Holiday Park review: Wow, what an amazing holiday we had! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by the friendly staff and locals - everyone was genuinely lovely and attentive. The cottage itself was absolutely stunning, offering 360-degree views of the rolling Highland mountains, which made every morning feel special. The decor was stylish and modern and having two bathrooms was such a convenience, especially with kids. The private jacuzzi was a real luxury, perfect for relaxing after a day out. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome doggy goodie bag and the starter packs for the kitchen and bathroom - such a kind gesture! The park was peaceful but still lively enough to join community events like bingo and quizzes at the bar. Plus, just a short 10-minute drive took us to Hunters Key, where the kids had a blast in the arcades, swimming, mini-golf and shows. One thing wed suggest is adding more coat hangers in both bedrooms and a coat hook or two near the entrance - with all the outdoor exploring and rainy weather, it was tricky to find a spot for our wet coats. Oh and definitely dont miss the pizza van on weekends - the pizzas were delicious and a big hit with everyone! Thanks so much for a fantastic first trip to Scotland; were already planning our next visit to one of your other parks!"
Jasmine Carter - Jun 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay here! The beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!"
Emma - May 2024
"We loved the stunning location on the outskirts of Dunoon - such a peaceful spot! Definitely recommend taking the ferry from Gourock to Dunoon; it saves a lot of time and hassle. It wouldve been handy if the holiday provider had included this info or managed the tickets, but no worries, plenty of agents along the route. The place was spotless, really well maintained. Only issue was a strange smell from the aircon, probably just needs a service and new filters. Still a lovely stay!"
Emily Carter - May 2024
"We had such a lovely stay at Stratheck Holiday Park! The Treetop lodges were truly gorgeous and spotless - loved the cosy decor that made it feel really homely. There was plenty of crockery, cups and utensils, so no fuss at all. We appreciated the extra towels and the small welcome bag with cloths, dishwasher tablets and washing-up liquid, which was a nice touch. Even our dogs werent left out - they got their own little goody bag, which was adorable! The only little things that couldve made it even better - theres no hairdryer, which might be handy especially after using the hot tub. One of the twin rooms doesnt have a dressing table or enough sockets, making getting ready a bit tricky. Also, bathrooms could do with bins and maybe a printed map of bar opening times would help. But honestly, those are tiny details that didnt spoil our fun. We all had a brilliant time celebrating with family and cant wait to come back!"
Lucy - Nov 2023
"We loved how smartly the space was utilised and the storage options were brilliant. Everything was thought through, making our stay super comfy. The hot tub was absolutely fantastic!"
Jessie - Jun 2023
"We had a fantastic stay! Wilma personally called us before we arrived to let us know our pod was ready, which was a lovely touch. Craig gave great recommendations for local walks and Claire and Ian kept the pod and hot tub spotless. The staff were friendly all round and the pub was a charming bonus. Were very happy customers!"
