Loch Awe Holiday Park Reviews

"Such a lovely place! The park is super peaceful, clean and really well looked after. Honestly, we cant wait to come back!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"The equipment was top-notch and worked perfectly with WiFi. Exactly as shown online. We loved relaxing outside on the decking. Great stay!"
Emma - Jun 2024
"We really appreciated the upgrade when we arrived - made a great first impression! The lodge felt spacious with two bedrooms, a cosy lounge and a lovely patio overlooking the river. The main bedroom had an ensuite which was handy, especially after muddy walks. Parking right outside was super convenient too. Definitely recommend!"
Claire - Jun 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay; the caravan was spotless and stylish, with comfy beds, a great shower and fast WiFi. Peaceful and relaxing!"
Emma Carter - May 2024
"Our Loch Awe Holiday Park review: We recently spent a few days at Loch Awe Caravan Park with our two kids and honestly, it was brilliant! The caravan was spotless and had a really cosy feel, with a modern look that made it feel welcoming. Everything we needed was there, from kitchen gear to comfy beds and the space was just right for us. The location is perfect - close enough to Oban for day trips but still tucked away enough to enjoy the stunning views of Loch Awe and the hills. The best part, though, was the staff. When the lock on our door jammed, they sorted it out super quick, without any fuss. They were friendly and professional, making us feel really looked after. All in all, Loch Awe Caravan Park strikes a great balance between comfort, scenery and ease of access. Wed definitely recommend it to other families and are already looking forward to coming back again!"
Lisa - Apr 2024
"The space was a bit tight for our big family, but we found it comfy enough. The park was pretty peaceful when we visited, with plenty to explore around. Not bad at all!"
David - Apr 2024
"We had a really lovely stay! The caravan was super bright and clean, with comfy beds. The WiFi worked perfectly, keeping the kids entertained. Honestly, wed definitely come back again!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"Beautiful location, perfect for relaxing and exploring! Would recommend."
Emily Carter - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely, relaxing break in a peaceful spot. Its a bit tucked away, but close to Glencoe and Stirling."
Emily - Nov 2023
"We arrived after a long drive and found the caravan to be really cosy and warm. The smart TV was a lifesaver, letting us stream Netflix and Disney Plus to keep the kids entertained at night. Lovely stay!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"Great vibe, would recommend"
James - Nov 2023
"We enjoyed our stay overall, though the weather couldve been kinder. The parks dining options are quite limited - a proper sized eating area would make a big difference. Still, wed recommend it!"
Alex - Aug 2020
"Great experience, highly recommend"
Jane - Jul 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay at Loch Awe. The hot tub made everything so much better!"
Emma - Jul 2020
"We recently stayed in a pretty new caravan and honestly, it was quite spacious and well kitted out. The two bathrooms are a real bonus for families, making mornings so much easier. There were a few bits of furniture that needed a quick wipe down, but overall, it was very clean. The only downside was no WiFi, so no Netflix for us, which was a bit of a letdown. I called about it and they said itd be fixed in five minutes-never happened, but it wasnt a biggie for us."
Harper - Jul 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay here, lovely views and perfect for groups or families alike."
Sophie - Mar 2020
"Really loved the cosy vibe"
Emma - Mar 2020
"We had a really nice stay at Loch Awe holiday park. Even with the rain pouring all five days, it didnt ruin our trip. The location is perfect - nice and peaceful in the countryside, but still close enough to Oban for shopping and meals out. The reception team was super helpful, giving us brochures of local sights which we appreciated. Theres definitely plenty to do if you look around. Wed happily return someday!"
Emma - Feb 2020
"Great value for money, absolutely recommend to everyone."
Oliver Hart - Jan 2020
"Really enjoyed the experience here"
Emma - Nov 2019
"We had a fantastic long weekend, full of chill vibes and friendly people everywhere. Definitely coming back, maybe for a bit longer next time! Absolutely loved it!!"
Mark - Nov 2019
"Cant wait to visit again soon!"
Sam - Sep 2019
"Really impressed with the caravan, it was spotless and had everything!"
Emma Roberts - Sep 2019
"Really looking forward to returning"
Emma - Sep 2019
"We recently stayed at the caravan and noticed quite a few upgrades since last year, which was a nice surprise. The new french doors opening onto the decking were a real highlight, letting in loads of natural light and making it feel more open. The living space is surprisingly spacious, even with a family of four, so everyone had plenty of room to relax and move around comfortably. The beds were really comfortable and the pillows were just right. The shower was warm and clean, though not as powerful as wed hoped. A few utensils were missing and the knives werent very sharp, but honestly, it didnt ruin our stay at all. Wed definitely come back!"
Emma - Jul 2019
"We had a lovely holiday, enjoying the peacefulness of the site and exploring lively Oban, along with the beautiful castles and gardens nearby. Great trip!"
Martin - Jun 2019
"Great stay, lovely staff, well-maintained site, highly recommend!"
Emma - Jun 2019
"We had a lovely stay here. The parks really peaceful and tidy, which was just what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, making everything smooth. Its a bit close to the main road, so you can hear some traffic, but it didnt bother us too much. The only thing we missed was having an iron in the caravan - wouldve been handy. The location is great, with a shop and petrol station right at the gate and a nice pub nearby with a discount for Loch Awe residents. Wed definitely come back!"
James - Jun 2019
"Really enjoyed our stay, the place was perfect."
Oliver - Jun 2019
"The lodge was super cosy and really warm, with all the kitchen bits we needed. Plenty of storage for our things and the lovely deck was perfect for evening chill-outs. We loved it!"
Emma - Jun 2019
"We all had a lovely time, beautiful peaceful place"
Sharon - Aug 2022
"Thoroughly enjoyed our trip! Beds in caravan were a little uncomfortable, but they gave us a wee dog package to keep when we arrived which was so lovely. Oven wasn't working on our first night which meant we couldn't cook our dinner which wasn't ideal, however was fixed the next day. Staff so friendly and my dog loved them! Lovely walks fairly closeby. Closest supermarket is about 30 mins away in oban, but their on site little shop is really handy - even has a petrol station. Would recommend for a short break away!"
Rachael - Jul 2022
"Lovely quiet spot at this well maintained site. 20 min drive to Oban with a hotel serving fabulous food half a mile away."
Therese - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely holiday at loch awe holiday park. Plenty to see and explore near by! Staff where lovely and friendly. Would defo recommend a short trip along the road to Airds bay."
Natalie - Jul 2022
"Beautiful location and the caravan we stayed in was spotlessly clean, staff were very welcoming and friendly with plenty of local information, very dog friendly and the pub/restaurant was only a short walk away along a river path which was also dog friendly and served good value food and drinks, well worth a visit if your in the area"
Charles - Jul 2022
"Couldn't have asked for a better holiday with my family. Lodge was spectacular the staff even more so. We had an amazing time"
Steven - Jul 2022
"Fantastic place to take your pet no problems great space to enjoy"
Douglas - Jul 2022
"Absolutely beautiful holiday park. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Caravan was immaculate and the beds were very comfy. Plenty to see and do in the area. We all had a fantastic break away."

Jeanette - Jun 2022
"We stayed here last week and had a lovely time. The staff on sight were very friendly and welcoming. The caravan was really nice and was very clean. It was lovely and quiet. The place is central to lots of places around. Will certainly come again"
Wendy - Jun 2022
"Lovely quiet site ideal for touring the Argyle area. Caravan well equipped and clean. Was a little surprised at the extra charge of 35 pounds for fuel, have always has energy price included in total holiday cost. Is this the norm now?"
Linda - Jun 2022
"Great location and staff very helpful"
