Rachel - Apr 2025
"We stayed at this lovely little cottage and honestly, it was just what we needed. The quiet surroundings made it perfect for a proper break. The hot tub was such a treat and the place was spotless with all the essentials. Loads of walks nearby too. Absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to unwind!"
Emily - Mar 2025
"We really enjoyed our visit, the setting was charming and the dogs loved exploring the fields. Lovely day!"
Ellie - Jan 2025
"We had such a great weekend stay! The place really ticked all our boxes and were already planning to come back. The kids loved the garden and the underfloor heating kept everyone cosy. Our dog Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it-bless her! Definitely a spot wed recommend to anyone looking for a comfy getaway."
Oliver - Dec 2024

Mark - Sep 2024
"We loved this cosy little cottage! Perfectly tucked away for some peace, yet close enough to shops and cafes. The hot tub was brilliant and the underfloor heating kept everything nice and warm. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to return!"
Jamie - Sep 2024
"We loved the cosy cottage with its lovely log burner and hot tub. The hosts were so friendly, making our stay truly relaxing and peaceful. Hope to come back soon!"
Lucy - Jul 2024
"We had a wonderful, peaceful stay! The cottage was spotless and well-stocked, plus some sweet little extras. Definitely recommend to everyone!"
Ella - Jun 2024
"We had a wonderful stay at this cosy spot tucked away in a peaceful, private setting. The hosts were super friendly and really helpful when we needed anything, but still respected our privacy. The hot tub was such a treat after a long day cycling around. The only thing to note is that the cottage is quite close to Stansted's flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our trip. Overall, a lovely place!"
Rajesh - Jun 2024
"We had an absolutely lovely stay here! The setting is so peaceful and private, perfect for unwinding. The owners are genuinely friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which we really appreciated. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day cycling around the area. One thing to note, though, is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but its worth considering if you're sensitive to noise. Overall, a great place to stay!"
Raj - Jun 2024
"We had a lovely stay! Sharon and Robert were fantastic hosts, making us feel right at home from the start. The place had everything we needed - super clean, comfy and safe for our dog Archie. The location was perfect, with loads of nice walks and the charming villages around Thaxted to explore. Honestly, we left feeling refreshed and totally relaxed. Definitely a break we needed! Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway."
Harriet - May 2024
"Such a lovely spot, really relaxing stay. Can't wait to return!"
Alex - Apr 2024
"The cottage was charming and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Be aware of the night-time planes from Stanstead, but the hot tub really made it special! Definitely worth visiting."
Jane - Mar 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely charming and friendly. The place is surprisingly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to get out of! The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and nicely furnished. We enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and Thaxteds restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, didnt disappoint. Definitely a place wed recommend!"
George - Feb 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The location was perfect, peaceful and away from the busy crowds. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Owners were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They've got it just right!"
Paul - Jan 2024
"We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! The place is really well kept and has everything you need. The dog walks right outside are a big plus for us and the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, were a hit with the dogs. The host was super friendly and easy to communicate with. Well definitely return, great value! Highly recommend."
Emma Carter - Dec 2023

"We had a fantastic weekend stay here, exactly what we were hoping for. The place really hit the spot and were already planning to return. Our dogs adored the underfloor heating and the garden kept them busy for ages. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it - typical! Great place, lovely hosts, were very happy hoomans and pups!"
Charlie - Sep 2023

"We had such a lovely weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and were already planning to come back. Our dogs had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating - they couldnt get enough! Lunas wagging tail got a bit strained, but the vet says its just from all the fun. Happy pups, happy us!"
