Penstowe Park Holiday Lodges Reviews

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite a few minor glitches. The outside light was out and the location of the light switch was a bit awkward-had to feel around in the dark at night. Also, there wasn't a clear spot for towels or coats, but wed still return to this lodge. Definitely worth a visit!"
Sam - Mar 2025
"Perfect little getaway spot, everything we needed and more. Highly recommend!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"We had such a lovely few days at this place! The villa was really charming and the enclosed garden was a game-changer - perfect for relaxing outside without worrying about the dogs. Truly peaceful and cosy. If youre after some calm, youll love it here!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The place was perfect for a quick getaway. Loved exploring nearby pubs, shops and the beaches just a short drive away."
Emma Johnson - Sep 2024
"Our Penstowe Park Holiday Lodges review: The lodge was super cosy and had everything we needed and the park was stunning too!"
Jessica Carter - Sep 2024
"The cabin felt just like being at home, super cosy and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was there, really appreciated it!"
David - Sep 2024
"Comfortable but could be better"
Emma - Sep 2024
"This was a lovely getaway! The Manor Lodge had a beautiful private garden, a hot tub and plenty of space."
Emily - Sep 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge is spacious and beautifully decorated, with everything you need in the kitchen. The hot tub was a highlight-so clean, warm and it kept its temperature perfectly. The only letdown was the double beds; they felt a bit small and the mattresses werent the most comfy. The sofas are a bit worn out too, making relaxing a bit tricky. Still, wed come back!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return."
Alex - Sep 2024
"Honestly, Im not sure what all the fuss is about with the negative reviews. When we arrived, a lovely lady greeted us and explained everything, especially about how to top up the electricity, which was all in the terms anyway. The chalet was spotless, which was a relief because Id been a bit worried about cleanliness. It had pretty much everything we needed. The only tiny issue was a few spiders lurking in the corners, but thats pretty normal in a countryside spot. If youre after a peaceful, chilled out break, this place is just what you need!"
Alex - Sep 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy little cabin. It had everything we needed and was just the right size for us two - though it could easily fit four. The location was super handy, close to the car park and the Wi-Fi was solid. Perfect for what we wanted!"
James - Sep 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The chalet felt just like a cosy home, which was perfect for us. Its very peaceful since theres nothing on site to disturb you. The enclosed garden was a big plus, especially for the dog to relax. If youve got kids, you might want somewhere busier, but we loved it!"
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The lodge was lovely, spacious and well-equipped. The view was stunning too!"
Clara - Aug 2024
"Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the WiFi situation - its 2024 and everywhere has it, right? The TV was tiny with bad reception, which was a bit of a pain. Luckily, our cottage had electric included, since some places charge extra. The place itself was spotless, with a lovely, well-equipped kitchen. Some cottages had picnic benches outside, which ours didnt, but overall, it was a clean and cosy stay. Couldve been better regarding the amenities, though."
Emma - Aug 2024
"The place is perfect for exploring, super handy location. The rooms were clean, but the bed wasn't the most comfy. Nice little village with shops, pub and takeaway. No garden or activities though."
Emma - Aug 2024
"Despite my traffic delay, the staff went out of their way to help me get the keys late at night. The place itself is fantastic - really top-notch. Honestly, I wish I could rate it even higher. Definitely recommend to everyone!"
Jordan - Aug 2024
"The place was just right for our family of four, especially for a short stay. Loved the WiFi and the BBQ outside - perfect for relaxing. Having board games and scissors in the kitchen was handy. Only thing missing was nearby spots for off-lead dog walks, which was a bit of a shame."
Laura - Jul 2024
"We stayed at Penhalt Cottage, which was a lovely upgrade to number 8. The place is really well-maintained, super clean and has windows on all sides-front, back and sides! The lounge has comfy leather sofas, plus a TV and music system. The bedroom also has the same and the curtains give good privacy. Its fully double glazed, so super quiet too. Wed definitely come back!"
Alex - Jul 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay, would recommend!"
Sam - Jun 2024
"We had a really nice stay! The welcome was warm and friendly, which made us feel at home right away. Just a heads up, if youre using the heating overnight, you might want to buy a bit more electric credit than usual-it went faster than expected for us. Also, the locations fantastic! A bit of a refurb in the bathroom and kitchen would make it even better."
Emma - Jun 2024
"The place was spotless and really well equipped, we found everything we needed. Definitely good value for money, especially being on that holiday park too!"
Oliver - May 2024
"Looking forward to returning next year, really enjoyed it!"
Emma Carter - May 2024
"Great stay, definitely coming back next year!"
James - May 2024
"Comfortable, cosy, great location, friendly hosts."
James - May 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay here! The place is well-equipped with everything you need and the partial sea view with those gorgeous green hills is just stunning, especially in the mornings with a cuppa. Only thing wed suggest is maybe being able to turn the sofas around so you can take in the view from inside more easily. Definitely recommend it!"
Emma - May 2024
"What a lovely week exploring stunning beaches and peaceful countryside!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"This cottage is perfect for families, with all the essentials and a lovely spot nearby."
Emma Clarke - Apr 2024
"Great quality, worth it"
Emma - Apr 2024
"Had a great holiday nice location very friendly reception staff share my experience with friends and family I might be back next year"

"Everything was absolutely amazing no complaints here definitely will be back"
Mitchell - Jun 2022
"When I booked by telephone i said I was disabled and asked for walk in shower some of the photos had a rail by the steps i asked if this was on our chalet but they did not know when we got there therre was no rail and made it very dificult for me my friend had to help me otherwise the chalet was lovely inside sorry the big house was closed"
Maureen - Jun 2022
"We stayed in Penhalt Cottage which was very, very clean and well appointed easy walking distance to the village of Kilkhampton, would definitely recommend to family and friends. Lovely holiday site. Cannot comment on the on-site restaurant as we never had occasion to use it."
