We had the best week here with our dog, beautiful Saunton Sands on the doorstep and perfect location near to Braunton for food. The owners had thought of everything in the lodge and had the best sleep there. We will definitely be back.

Hayditch at Great Field Lodges Reviews

We had a fantastic short break at Broadpath and will definitely be back; The chalet was spotless and had everything you could want or need for a luxurious relaxing break. Easy access to miles of country lines with the opportunity for our dog to run for miles. We ate at the Duke Dive in Braunton which is a must. We had relaxed breakfasts on the decking in the sun and spent the evenings relaxing in the hot tub, especially after cycling the Tarka trail for miles. A lovely escape, fab hospitality and are already planning our next visit.
What a great stay at Great Field Lodges Perfectly run and presented by Sarah All our thanks for a 5 star break for our wedding anniversary By far the best lodge and hot tub we have stayed in, we shall be looking to book again in the new year.
This was our 2nd stay at Broadpath, and again it won't be our last. Ourselves and our little Whippet love it here. Very secure garden, all the cooking facilities and utensils you need. Most comfortable bed and lovely bedding. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Fab beaches just short drives away, great roads to travel around too. Braunton Burrows also a must and great for dogs. Undercover hot tub so can still be enjoyed in the rain. We'll definitely be back.
Booked as a get away for a few days and can say it fully fulfilled our expectations. The lodge had heating which you could adjust to your liking and had complimentary shortbreads as you come in. The bed was a good size and very comfy. The whole lodge was very clean and smelled lovely too. The jacuzzi was just outside and was the icing on the cake! We came without a car so would absolutely come again with one as there are some really nice beaches to visit whilst there. Very impressed!
Lodge was ideally located and a discreet pitch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and just a couple of suggestions. The WiFi is very poor and dropped out consistently each evening when trying to watch tv - this needs improvement. Lots of nice touches including the welcome package which was a pleasant surprise. A text or quick visit from the on-site managers would have been nice to check everything was ok. Other than that we had a great stay and we?re blessed with the weather allowing us to take full advantage of the surrounding beaches.
Just spent a week at Great Field Lodges, Broadpath. The Lodge was absolutely perfect, best bathroom I've ever seen and absolutely loved the covered front porch. Location was great for us with quiet lanes to walk with the dog and easy short drive to the beach. Enjoyed it so much we have already booked again for next year.
Lovely place, helpful people, all in all highly recommend a stay to anyone. We have stayed in here bay resort many times and thought we would try some where new. It didn’t disappoint and we can’t wait to come back for another stay.
Lodge itself is great! Has everything you need for a relaxing stay, very well equipped. We are returning customers who love it there. Sarah is a great host.
Excellent accommodation, everything as advertised. Perfect for a romantic weekend away and the little extra touches much appreciated. Will definitely recommend.
Fantastic lodge, very clean, comfortable bed with a massive bathroom. Great location. Nice hot tub Lovely host.
This was such a lovely place to stay. It was a perfect location, we wanted something away from busy areas but activities close by. We had just that! We were away from everything but it was a 5-10 minute drive to the town, a 20 minute drive to a beach which had a small arcade, a mini golf course where the staff were lovely and a good selection of little shops and places to eat. The lodge that we stayed in was a perfect size, had everything you could want and your not too close to other lodges. The owners was very friendly and helped us out more then we could have asked for. With the location, the lodge itself and the friendly owners we had an amazing and relaxing experience! And a little tip, stay at the lodge near fire works night. There was a beautiful area down the road where they had one of the best fire works display we have seen! 10/10! Xx
This was by far the best place we have ever stayed! Broadpath had everything we needed for the 2 of us and our little Whippet. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Nice big secure garden. Nice and quiet and very relaxing. WiFi very good, the bed was very comfortable we both slept very well. The space, the shower, the kitchen, the hot tub, the location, everything was perfect. We will be back.
What a beautiful lodge, everything you could possibly need has been thought about!! Loved the hot tub and enclosed garden for the dog!
Wow what a fab lodge . Their was nothing more needed in this lodge it had everything , spotless place loved it, hot tub was perfect too, can't wait to go back it's such a chilling place to be , thankyou Sarah.
This place was honestly perfect, nice and quiet and really close to local shops and beaches, really enjoyed our stay here.
excellent property clean and well equipped easy to fined and good eating places local would visit again.
We had a wonderful time and that was because everything was perfect Sarah was amazing every question I ask she responded immediately and answered all my questions and the lodge was the best I have stayed in for a long time and our surroundings were very nice and private and peaceful and also plenty of lovely places to visit close by I will definitely be returning very soon thank you to Sarah and the team for making it do perfect.
Outstanding lodges. Clean, spacious, comfortable and everything you could need catered for. The garden could have a bit of a cut back with the overgrown bushes and my only criticism would be, not enough fresh air ventilation in the bedroom, as the patio doors don?t open, so you only have two little windows to open on one side so no air flow through that room and when it?s hot I found it too stuffy even with the fan that they supplied on But that is my only criticism of the lodge. Great location, with a lovely beach just over a mile up the road, however, note if you want to go anywhere the other direction going through Braunton, it is such a busy route to get through which seems the only road out and sometimes I was sitting for 20 mins of traffic just to get through that area which is only about a mile long.
We had a lovely week at Broadpath, the lodge was lovely and clean and had everything we required for a relaxing week, the garden was very secure for our dog to run around in, Sarah was close by if we needed anything, there were some nice treats like wine, biscuits and also biscuits for our dog Benji to welcome us, very thoughtful !!, Thankyou Sarah !!
