Holmans Wood Holiday Park Reviews

"Great spot, everything we needed was right there."
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely caravan. Its modern, spotless and super well-equipped. No need to pack anything extra. Definitely great value for money!"
James - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless and super comfy. The hot tub was amazing, even if the thermostat broke. Staff were friendly and quick to help fix it."
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Comfortable stay, everything we needed was there for us."
Emma - Feb 2025
"Our Holmans Wood Holiday Park review: Great spot, really loved the peaceful setting and the hot tub was a lovely touch. Parking was a plus!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had a lovely stay at the lodge. It was spotless and really well looked after. The peaceful spot was perfect for us and our anxious dog. Definitely good value and a weekend well remember. Would recommend to anyone!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"Nice place, would recommend"
George - Sep 2024
"We enjoyed a peaceful break, took a stroll around the area and the caravan was perfect and well-stocked. Lovely!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"The lodge was spotless and had a really high-end feel to it. Loved the comfy beds and the fact there were two en-suites plus a lovely bathroom. Thanks so much, we had a great stay!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"Overall, we found the place to be quite comfortable and spacious, perfect for what we needed. Everything was clean and in good condition, which was great. The only little hiccup was the saucepans stored way up high in a cupboard - a bit tricky for shorter folks to reach without a worry. Still, we enjoyed our stay!"
Sam - Jul 2024
"We had a fantastic stay! The lodge was really pretty, especially the decking area, which is perfect if you've got kids or pets. The beds were super comfy and the pillows made all the difference. One room had a double bed with an en-suite and the other had a double plus two singles, plus a main bathroom. The utility room with a sink, washing machine, iron and ironing board was handy. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of cupboard space, a dishwasher and an American fridge freezer. Plus, the smart TV meant we could stream our shows. Wed definitely return!"
Emma T. - Jun 2024
"The place was spotless, thanks to the friendly staff. Hot tub was always ready for us."
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"The lodge was super new and lovely, but we did miss a few small things like knives and side tables. Still, nice stay!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay, the lodge had all we needed."
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"We had a really lovely stay here. The peaceful vibe of the place made it perfect for unwinding and the hot tub was a real treat. Everyone we met was super friendly, which made us feel welcome right from the start. The lodge itself was spotless and well-maintained, which we appreciated. The park was also kept very tidy, so no complaints there. The only thing we noticed was that theres no on-site shop for quick essentials, which was a bit of a downside. Luckily, Chudleigh is only a couple of miles away with a Co-op, so it wasnt too much trouble. It would be great if they could add a small convenience store, maybe sourced from their sister site Finlake, to make things even easier. Still, if relaxing is what you're after, this place hits the spot!"
James - Mar 2024
"Really enjoyed the stay, the hot tub was such a treat!"
Emma - Feb 2024
"We had a lovely stay here! The location is peaceful and scenic, but its handy that you can also access the busier Finlake site when you fancy more activity. The caravan was spotlessly clean, warm and had everything we needed. Booking and checking in was straightforward. Definitely a place wed return to - highly recommended!"
Emma - Jan 2024
"We had a lovely stay! The place is spotless, peaceful and way better than Finlake. The staff genuinely care and wed definitely come back again soon."
Emma - Nov 2023
"We really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was comfy and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. Dog-friendly sites are rare, so this was perfect for us. Small, quiet and relaxing-just what we needed!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, the caravan was huge, spotless and beautifully decorated throughout."
Emma - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed the stay, would definitely come back!"
Emily - Aug 2020
"We had a lovely stay here! The place was spotless and beautifully furnished, with everything we could possibly need. It was a bit too quiet for kids, but we still enjoyed it a lot!"
Emma - Jul 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Its modern and had all the essentials for a comfy holiday. The hot tub was a highlight, kept spotless by the staff every day. The fenced decking was perfect for the kids and pets to play safely. The shower was powerful and the main bedroom was spacious with its own en-suite. The kitchen was well-equipped, including a dishwasher. Overall, a lovely place, thanks!"
James - Jul 2020
"Chilled out and enjoyable"
Emma Clarke - Jul 2020
"The caravan was spotless and super comfy, we really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and dining outside. Great stay!"
Emma - Jul 2020
"The holiday home was spotless and felt really roomy. The high-quality furnishings and well-kept equipment made our stay super comfortable. Wed definitely come back!"
Claire - Jul 2020
"We had such a lovely time, really couldn't fault it."
Alex - Feb 2020
"Really good value for money"
Emily - Feb 2020
"Even with the gloomy weather, we had a fantastic time. The place was spotless and really spacious, perfect for unwinding. We loved sitting outside on the decking, watching wildlife and the hot tub was a real bonus. The whole stay was just what we needed and were already planning to return. Thanks so much, Holmans Wood!"
Emma - Nov 2019
"Great week, the van was spotless and super comfy!"
Mark - Nov 2019
"We had a great time here with 4 adults and 2 dogs. It was lovely and quiet and very clean. Although they had building work, we did not hear or see this which was great. I would highly recommend."
Vicky - Jul 2022
"A really good site with excellent views. Staff were very helpful, friendly & polite. Accommodation was spot on, with a hot tub, couldn’t ask for better. We enjoyed a great weekend away from it all. Highly recommend! ?"
Anthony - Jul 2022
"Very good service lovely homes, need to drive if you want entertainment or days activity. Although I booked knowing it is a quiet site but not far is sister site also beautiful. Would recommend to any. Handman and reception so very helpful and pleasant"
Lesley - Jul 2022
"Fantastic park however it's adult friendly more than family with children. For the activities you got to travel by car at least 10min to the nearest sister park. If more activities for children's available within the park I would recommend this 100%. Otherwise park situated in the lovely country side and good walking trail for dogs. During our visit we witnessed some construction a going on, so we will give another go"
Rajesh - Jul 2022
"Amazing getaway and staff were all lovely we will be going back again"
Lauren - Jul 2022
"The place we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and well maintained. My children enjoyed the park and hot tub. Will definitely stay again."
Kylie - Jul 2022
"Lovely quiet relaxing hols."
Pauline - Jul 2022
"Lovely place would definitely stay again"
Miguel - Jul 2022
"The holiday park was really lovely with rabbits running around and easy access to lots of places. It was quiet and peaceful which we liked and found really relaxing. Some building work going on but didn’t affect our stay at all. Staff all lovely and helpful on the couple of times we had to ask questions. No shop on site but a well stocked garage approx 1/4 a mile away so no problem there."
Caron - Jul 2022
"I had a brilliant week, relaxing and almost everything provided, towels, hot-tub, large TV, brilliant Wi-Fi and internet provision, heating and comfortable beds and seating. Plenty of space, lovely views. I really appreciate the member of staff responding to my phone all, when I knew I would be arriving a bit late, and he remained on site to hand over my keys. It was very quiet and I didn't see many staff. The site is well placed geographically and is still being developed. I loved seeing rabbits on the fields."
