My wife and I went to Kingsford Farm Lodge in early March and celebrated her birthday while we were there. We had a lovely time and the accommodation was excellent. Very warm clean and tidy. Although it is not the warmest time of the year we still used the hot tub every day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Debbie was very friendly and very helpful and we will definitely go there again in the future.

Date of stay: 21st July 2017
Had a lovely time. The best Lodge and Park ever stayed on. Lodges looked as new and the grounds were kept spotless by Debbie and her team. Great care taken over recycling and both this and normal waste was collected from the bins daily to avoid litter being attacked by birds! Hot tub was amazing. Mentioned a light in the bathroom was not working and they could not have got onto the case any quicker - giving us an update as soon as they saw us (as fitting not available initially and would be a day's delay).

The Farm down a narrow lane but not a problem and we coped with it when the need arose. The road was made up and not earth and stones/gravel. Sometimes, we could go in and out and not see another vehicle. The SAT NAV took us on narrower roads as we travelled around the county!
Felicity, Poole

Jenny, Bracknell
Date of stay: 23rd June 2017
We had a lovely stay here as always. I was left a bottle of bubbly by the owner for my birthday which was a lovely surprise. The lodge has everything you need, except food. Maybe needs some tongs for cooking but that's the only thing we missed. Lovely clean lodge and the hot tub is amazing. We found a lovely little post office and village shop just at the bottom of the road out in the Pathfinder Village. Small shop but has all the essentials if you have run out of anything and don't fancy driving to Sainsburys. The road down to the lodge is a one track lane so drive carefully but once at the lodge it is so lovely and peaceful its worth the drive! Darts Farm is worth a visit, Budleigh Salterton is lovely and also Dawlish Warren. We will most definitely be back again.
Peter, Pencoed, Nr. Bridgend

Date of stay: 13th January 2017
We had an excellent stay at Kingsford Farm Lodges and would highly recommend to others. Ideal for access to Dartmoor and Exeter. The only reason for a score of 9 on location and surroundings was due to the steep access down the single track lanes to the farm, but don't let this put you off as the lodges are lovely and the hot tubs are great. Very peaceful, quiet area.
Date of stay: 11th November 2016
Me and my partner stayed here for my 30th birthday it was amazing very quite and relaxing with amazing veiw of the lake the owners are amazing and surprised me with a bottle of wine on my birthday we can't wait to book again definitely a place to stay the lodge has everything u need apart from your food

Date of stay: 9th April 2016
Lovely clean lodge, wonderful hot tub, extremely peaceful surroundings. The only issue for us, as we have boys of that age, was the WiFi, you can't stream, and if the internet is busy even basic browsing was difficult. If you're looking for a complete get away though this is perfect.
Date of stay: 12th February 2016
Really spacious, comfortable with all mod-cons. Quiet location with secluded hot tub. Reclining sofas, big TV. Adequate WiFi but poor phone signal.
Sophie, London
Date of stay: 12th February 2016
We decided to go to kings ford farm as a short get away and a get away it most certainly was! We had the most amazing break and we didn't want to leave when our stay was over. The surrounding area is stunning. The fishing lake kept us very busy and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Exeter was a short drive away too so I even managed to do some shopping. The road in was very narrow and pretty bumpy but if you are a confident driver or drive a tracker you will be fine. The accommodation was absolutely spotless and had everything you could ever need to feel at home! We will definitely be coming to stay again.
Lloyd, Portland
Date of stay: 1st February 2016

Date of stay: 11th July 2015
Absolutely spot on. cannot fault this place, the lodge was spotless, the site was spotless.
The Lodge had everything you need and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. we stopped in Lodge 3 which in our opinion is the best situated as it is the most private. The bed was very comfy and we slept like a log!
It is so quiet all you hear is the sheep and a pheasant!
The lane leading down to the lodge from main road is 2.1 miles and is single track, we didn't meet anything except a horse one morning which we guess we were lucky as meeting traffic could be fun! we have a 4x4 and the mirrors touched the hedge both sides! we thought this was fun but a nervous driver might not!.
No mobile signal which didn't bother us, we did use the free wifi to keep in touch with home.
The village pub the lamb looks nice, the one night we decided to go it was shut! we found another pub a couple of miles down the road towards Exeter called the Twisted Oak! (brown signs take you there) very nice we went twice, good for families as has a beer garden with slides but also has a family restaurant and bar restaurant, so if like us your a couple you can eat in peace! food was lovely both times.
No local shop but sainsburys only 10 min drive.
Torquay was about 25 mins drive and Dartmoor to see ponies about 10-15 mins.
All in all we had a fantastic peaceful week and would go again tomorrow.
A total get away from it all holiday didn't want to leave.
David, Witham
Date of stay: 4th July 2015
The lodge itself was very clean, well maintained and very comfortable. It had everything we could need in it, and the wifi was superb. The settee was very comfortable as was the bed, we felt very at home here.
Value for money was excellent, especially given the peace and quiet we got here generally. We had lodge 3 which was probably the best in terms of ultimate privacy
Carole, Lincolnshire
Date of stay: 13th June 2015
A wonderful lodge in a wonderful setting, peaceful, quiet and relaxing yet only ten minutes from Exeter. You leave feeling you have totally unwound. We will be back.
Claire, Basingstoke
Date of stay: 29th May 2015
We stayed at Kingsford Farm during half term in May. The lodges are in a beautiful location, quite remote but it's lovely to be away from it all. The nice thing is that there are only four lodges so you don't feel overcrowded and they overlook a lovely fishing lake which you're welcome to use if you wish.
The lodges themselves are equipped with everything you might need and are very clean. The beds are also very comfortable.
The outdoor space of the lodge is also very nice. There is a table and chairs for you to use and of course the hot tub! The hot tubs are just lovely and are checked everyday to ensure that the chemical balance is correct. The hot tubs are a really nice touch, especially in the evenings with a glass of wine! The only thing missing is a BBQ but you're more than welcome to take your own or use a disposable one.
If you're looking for a clean & comfortable place to stay in a beautiful location then look no further. Unfortunately we had to leave our lodge halfway through our holiday due to illness but we will definitely return as it feels like a little piece of heaven...

Friendly welcome from owner. Lodge was lovely and clean and well equipped had everything we needed except a pair of tongs in the kitchen. Lovely walk in shower, comfortable bed. Very peaceful and amazing hot tub! We went in February and were worried it might be too cold for it but it was fine, lovely to see all the steam come off it, very relaxing. It was nice and secluded too so not overlooked. No mobile signal but free wifi so it wasn't a problem. Would definitely go again

Date of stay: 4th October 2014
We had a very private hot tub but a couple of the lodges had theirs at the front. We could have done with a couple more towels but that was about the only negative thing. Other wise a lovely location and ideal place to visit the coast any many attractions. We will be going back.
John, Eastbourne
Date of stay: 27th September 2014

Date of stay: 27th September 2014
Lodges were great. nicely spread out and not on top of each other. Well kitted out too with full sized fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer. The second toilet was a nice surprise too! Only thing that could have improved it would be a larger microwave to fit the baby steriliser in, but that is being really really picky! Very peaceful site. absolutely loved it, we'll be back!
Date of stay: 13th September 2014
We have stayed in several lodges in different locations, this lodge is probably the best lodge we have stayed in. The welcome was warm and friendly. The location is so peaceful but only 150 mins from Exeter and a good base and easy to travel to other locations. The lodge was spotless. The hot tub was fantastic to come back to

Absolutely stunning place to stay, spotless, very well furnished, top class comfort. great value for money. owners have got this perfect keep up the good work.
Fantastic accommodation. It’s in the middle of nowhere down a 2 mile country road. Great fishing pond stacked full of fish and run by a lovely family. We will definitely be going back again.
Absolutely fantastic lodges, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The hot tub was amazing and most welcome after a long day of exploring. The site has just 4 lodges and they are built to maximise privacy,. I would have given the location 10/10 as the actual site is stunning but unfortunately the road leading to the site is in extremely bad condition at the moment. The owner did apologise for this but with recent weather the pot holes were unavoidable and i did actually damage my car. If youve got a 4x4 you will be fine though.
I have stayed here several times and never had the slightest problem. Debbie and Mark are always on hand if needed for anything.
Excellent lodges, peaceful and lovely setting, really nice owners.
Fantastic location, great facilities and a really relaxing break! Well recommended.
Another enjoyable stay Kingsford Farm is highly recommended

Great to have peace and quiet. Fishing was good, plenty of variety. Cabin had everything (just need to take washing powder and dishwasher tablets),very comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect.
