About Dartmoor View

Luxurious accommodations, various onsite facilities and a truly unforgettable location with 20 acres of beautiful Devon countryside on your doorstep are just a few things that make Dartmoor View one of the best retreats in the UK.

Located close to Dartmoor National Park and the vibrant city of Exeter, Dartmoor View is a wonderful place to explore the beautiful countryside.

Dartmoor View is equipped with an outdoor swimming pool and a children’s play area, making it a perfect place for families. The site also has a games room to keep you entertained. The holiday park lies close to numerous villages bursting with quaint shops and traditional English pubs.

You'll find a wide variety of accommodations to suit different budgets. Most caravans are contemporary style with some having private tubs. We especially love the Platinum Caravan Four Plus VIP, which sleeps 4, with one master bedroom and one open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area.

The outside decking comes with a private hot tub and beautiful countryside views, perfect for relaxing.  We also love the Country Pod VIP is a luxurious studio with one double and additional sleeping for two in the lounge. The deck has garden furniture perfect for outdoor entertainment with a hot tub.

The local area has gardens and countryside to explore and is a haven for nature lovers. There are various walking and hiking routes suitable for everyone. In addition there are centres for activities like Dartmoor Gliding Society, White Water rafting, Riding schools and Dartrock climbing centre, all perfect for enjoyable days out.

Dartmoor View Reviews

"Really enjoyed the whole experience"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Great place to discover good places in the South West."
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Very comfy stay"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"We had a really nice stay in this spacious caravan, which was well equipped and perfect for relaxing. The surrounding walks were beautiful. The only hiccup was a couple of cleaning mishaps-some marks in the fridge and dirty cutlery-but they were quickly sorted out in the dishwasher. The hot tub was absolutely lovely!"
Alex - Mar 2025
"Our Dartmoor View review: Clean and well-maintained facilities, overall quite pleased."
Alex Morgan - Mar 2025
"Our recent trip to Dartmoor View was just lovely. The whole place has a really relaxed vibe, perfect if youre after some peace and quiet. The park is kept in top condition and its clear they care about their visitors experience. The caravan we stayed in (107 Meadow Lodge) was spotlessly clean, super comfy and warm enough even in February - we appreciated the heating being on before we arrived, honestly! We met some genuinely friendly homeowners and the staff invited us for coffee and cake, which was a lovely touch. It all felt very welcoming and personal. Were definitely planning to come back and would happily recommend it to friends. Theres no shop on-site, but a well-stocked petrol station just two minutes away is handy. Overall, a fantastic little getaway!"
Emma - Feb 2025
"Really impressed with how spotless and welcoming everything was for a peaceful stay."
Emily Carter - Feb 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was super spacious and modern, with a fantastic hot tub. Can't wait to return!"
Raj Patel - Feb 2025
"The caravan was gorgeous, really loved the design. The only issue was the seating arrangement - its a bit tight for six, as we couldnt all sit comfortably at the table. Still, overall, it was a great stay!"
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, the site was peaceful and well kept."
Emma Parker - Feb 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, it was just what we needed."
Emma - Jan 2025

Emma - Jan 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, the sofa and bed were perfect!"
Claire - Dec 2024
"Great base for exploring, peaceful and well-kept."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was cosy, all rooms had en-suites and the hot tub was fab."
Jamie - Nov 2024
"We had a lovely stay overall, but the mattress in the main bedroom definitely needs replacing - you can really feel the springs. No hooks for coats either, which was a bit of a pain. A full-length mirror would be a great addition. Otherwise, perfect holiday!"
Emma Turner - Nov 2024
"The caravan was spotless and fully kitted out when we arrived. Beds were already made and the heating was on, so it was nice and cosy. Everything we needed for self-catering was there and surprisingly, the wifi worked really well in such a rural spot!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, very nice experience."
Emily Carter - Nov 2024
"Comfortable, reliable and good value. Cheers!"
Samir - Nov 2024
"The property is lovely and well-equipped, but the cleaning and dishwasher could be better."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"We had a lovely holiday overall. The caravan was spotless and well-equipped with the basics, but a few extras like a bread bin, cheese grater and butter dish wouldve made it even better. Still, very enjoyable!"
Mrs. Linda - Nov 2024
"We stayed in this caravan and it was quite comfortable for our week away. The layout was practical, with a double bedroom and a handy loo, plus two twin rooms and another bathroom with a second loo. The shower was actually really good, which was a nice surprise! The kitchen was well-stocked - microwave, big fridge-freezer and all the utensils you could need. The dining table was surprisingly large, perfect for a massive jigsaw, although it only had four chairs, but there were four more on the deck which was handy. The big sofa was super comfy for relaxing after a day out. We brought an HDMI cable to connect to the big TV and used the sites internet for streaming. The oven was slow, as some reviews mentioned, but luckily we had our air fryer. They provided hand soap, dishwashing stuff, towels and bedding - just remember to bring swimming towels. Some folks complain about no entertainment, but honestly, thats exactly why we went - the peaceful trees and birdsong made it perfect for us!"
Emma and Jake - Nov 2024
"We stayed at a lovely, peaceful site that was just what we needed. Sadly, the outdoor pool was already closed for the season, which was a bit disappointing since it was advertised as open until the end of October. We went mid-month, before the school holidays, so its a shame we missed out. Getting into the hot tub was straightforward, but the outdoor lighting was lacking-especially on darker evenings, it would have been nice to have some proper lighting around. We noticed some vans had added extra lights at the front, which looked quite cosy. Theres loads for the kids too-table tennis, badminton, connect 4, swingball and a play area. We didnt let our 7-year-old go alone though, as its right at the entrance with cars coming and going everywhere. Our caravan was a bit worn, but had everything we needed-kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy and the place was clean with fresh towels. The little touches like hand soap, dish liquid and a essentials bag were a lovely touch. Overall, a really good value getaway, perfect for exploring Devon!"
Emma - Oct 2024
