South Bay Holiday Park Reviews

"We had a lovely stay, the caravan was spotless and peaceful - just what we needed for a break!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"Overall, the place was okay cleanliness-wise, though we did need some deeper cleaning for black mould and rust spots that appeared after winter. The electric fire in the lounge was a bit of a pain since it had no controls visible, but a staff member sorted it out the next day. Not perfect, but decent enough."
Emma T. - Mar 2025
"We really appreciated how spotless and well-maintained the chalet was, with everything we needed for the week. The beds were comfy and it had a lovely fresh smell. The shower was excellent-great water pressure and just the right temperature. Nice touch!"
Sarah - Nov 2024
"Lovely caravan, will come back!"
Emma Clarke - Oct 2024
"Our South Bay Holiday Park review: We found the chalet really comfortable and spacious. The highlight was the pull-out sofa bed, which turns into a double if needed, though we didnt actually use it. There were two singles in one room and a double in the other, both with wardrobes, but strangely no drawers anywhere. The walk-in shower was fantastic and the bathroom was quite roomy. The open-plan kitchen and living area felt airy and the kitchen was well-stocked with crockery and utensils, just missing a few baking trays. Overall, it was warm, cosy and wed definitely recommend it for a relaxing stay!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"Nice place, well-maintained gardens, great spot. We enjoyed it!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"Everything was spot on - the van was spotless, comfy and well equipped. The shower was great and toilets plenty. Rebooked immediately!"
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"The chalet was really unpleasant, with a strong mouldy smell in the bathroom and overall uncleanliness. Definitely not worth it."
Jessica - Sep 2024
"The caravan was spacious enough, but honestly, it felt a bit old-fashioned. The kitchen lacked utensils and glasses, but overall, it served well for a weekend stay."
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"The vans size was perfect for us, though it couldve been cleaner inside. A few loose bits, but nothing really spoiled our trip. Overall, pretty good!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was spacious and clean, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. A few mould spots could do with a quick tidy-up, though. The mattress was a bit too springy for our liking, but overall, it was a lovely place to unwind."
Emma - Jul 2024
"Overall, we were quite happy with the facilities-they were pretty good. The only thing that bugged us a bit was the caravan sizes. Our Silver 3-bed was smaller, narrower and in a less desirable spot compared to my sisters Bronze 3-bed, which was bigger and more open. Strange, considering ours was supposed to be the better option for more money!"
Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"Really impressed with the caravan, it had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away!"
James - Jul 2024
"Very comfy and well located"
Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, will come back!"
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"The place was surprisingly spotless and comfy for a budget stay. It had everything we needed, plus a few little extras. Definitely worth it!"
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"Very nice, clean place, we loved it!"
Emma Clarke - Jun 2024
"We had a lovely stay in this caravan. It was spotless and the bed was super comfy. The only downside was it was a bit close to the clubhouse, so it got noisy at night."
Emma - Jun 2024
"A peaceful escape, perfect for unwinding and recharging."
Emily Carter - May 2024
"Really enjoyed it, the price was spot on!"
James - May 2024
"Great value, would recommend to all"
Emma Taylor - Apr 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was spotless and comfy, with a lovely view. The shower was powerful and refreshing. Only small thing was the mattress dipping, but it didnt ruin our break at all."
Emma - Apr 2024
"We had a cracking time at South Bay! The caravan was comfortable and well-kept and there was so much to do on the park with lively entertainment. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Brixhams beautiful and so nearby to Paignton, perfect for day trips. Well be back for sure!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"Really satisfied with the service received."
Alexandra - Apr 2024
"We stayed recently and found the van had a bit of a doggy smell, even after opening the windows. It seemed like it was coming from the furniture or carpets, which we couldnt get rid of. The beds were really soft-probably too soft for us. The shower was powerful and the kitchen had everything we needed. The ensuite was a nice surprise, along with decent cupboard space. TV reception was poor, though, which was a bit annoying. Overall, pretty clean but a few cobwebs in the corners."
Harriet - Nov 2023
"We found the caravan to be spotless, which was great, but its starting to show its age a bit. The bedrooms were comfy and the shower worked fine. The kitchen was well-equipped enough for a full English breakfast and we managed a couple of evening meals without any trouble. TV programmes were pretty much like at home, so no complaints there. Overall, wed say its a solid choice."
Emma - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely stay, the staff were really friendly and the entertainment, especially Stripey Craig, was fab!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"We found the chalet spacious and comfy, definitely good value. A bit more cleaning supplies would help, but overall, its a cracking place!"
Sam - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely time, didnt want to pack up and go! Booking again for next year already."
Emma - Nov 2023
"We didn't really spend much time in the restaurant, so cant say much there. The place itself was pretty clean overall, though we did notice a few cobwebs here and there. The voiles in the living room were a bit torn at the bottom, but it didnt ruin our stay. The bathroom could do with some shelves for toiletries and the beds definitely need new mattresses. The kitchen was a good size with a nice fridge, freezer and dishwasher, so no complaints really."
Emily Carter - Nov 2023
"Lovely park , would definitely return and recommend to friends and family ."
Sarah - Aug 2022
"Really enjoyed the site, great value for money! Staff are really friendly and helpful."
Stewart - Jul 2022
"We all had a great holiday the caravan was beautiful and clean. The park was lovely really enjoyed it"
Elaine - Jul 2022
"We had a older caravan but it was sited in a lovely part of the park very happy"
