We had a really lovely stay over the sunny bank holiday weekend. Beautiful surroundings and really helpful hosts. The hut itself was very quaint and comfortable and despite being completely off grid the facilities were fantastic. Would highly recommend!

Unfortunately a mixed review, the site and shepherds hut is wonderful, peaceful and a nice site to stay at. Where things werent what we expected, and I note these as a comparison of other shepherds hits weve stayed at. no coffee or milk provided welcome pack only included marshmallows, previously was provided eggs, croissants etc a single towell each, a spare would have benefitted us as we were using the hottub the fridge didnt work, we were provided a cooler, first night bought salad and morning after it was all sat in 3 inches of water so we had to throw itAs this was over 400 for 2 nights I think we expected a bit more, we ended up leaving a day early as had nothing to store anything in without risk of it going bad

We had a perfect stay, Roger and Michelle were so kind and welcoming and have the gorgeous cafe near the beach. The hut itself was great, the bed was oh so comfy and lovely warm shower. And all the utensils etc you need to cook with! Will be returning again soon!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this extremely comfortable shepherds hut. It had everything you could possibly need with a great outdoor space. The walk to the nearest pub was lovely across the fields and through some woods. The owners Michelle and Roger were very helpful and couldnt do enough for us. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon. Thank you

We had an excellent stay, the bed was nice and comfy, excellent hot shower and provided us with plenty of wood for the fires. The site is quiet and very private as we were the only guests there. The location was also excellent with easy access to Weymouth and Durdle Door. The only disappointment was the hot tub. We did not use it in the end as the water did not appear clean, there was an oily, milky layer on top of the water and as its fresh water with no chemicals used it felt like we would be using someone elses dirty bath water. It would be excellent if that was emptied and replaced with clean water for every guest stay.

A lovely stay at Keets, beautiful quiet location 10 mins drive to the coast. It is off grid, so you need to be prepared for this. However, owners are local & very friendly and will go through everything on arrival. If you enjoy the countryside and rustic surroundings, this is a perfect break.

Keets is a comfortable Shepherds Hut with everything you need set in a lovely garden within close walking distance to the costal path a pub with great food and the lovely Reef Cafe at Ringstead Bay. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area thank you for a restful stay would highly recommend.

The Keets is a cute abode on a piece of land where the owner gardens organically, but doesn't live there. It looks very idyllic and you can use the whole garden to sit there. Even when it rains, you can sit in a greenhouse and drink your wine. The hospitable owner received us very kindly and can tell us a lot about walks in the beautiful surroundings.The living quarters are real camping and a bit spartan. The electricity is generated by two solar panels, but if the sun is not shining, you may have to take a cold shower. So use electricity sparingly! The bed sleeps fine. And the hot tub is fantastic. We used it a number of times, although it takes two and a half hours before the water is up to temperature! In short, the stay is a bit primitive, but if you like that, you have an original and unique stay in The Keets of Middle Acre!

Keets was a beautiful stay in a lovely setting. The hut was well equipped and there were some lovely touches such as marshmallows and cookies on arrival. The hot tub was perfect once we worked out how to not over heat it! The outside space is lovely and relaxed with the sounds of the ducks providing a quite nice background noise. Roger was so accommodating and only too happy to help us which was appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Keets at Middle Acre. After a pretty shocking stay at a dreadful hotel the night before we had the luck of being able to stay here and at short notice! Michelle and Roger made is feel very welcome and relaxed. It was very much what we needed.The log fuelled hot tub was absolutely fantastic.A short country walk to a pub.The bed was the comfiest we have stayed in!Will definitely be going there again soon! Xx

Absolutely terrific! Shepherds Hut is perfect for a relaxing break. Michelle & Roger are so lovely and very helpful with offering fruit & salad grown in the polytunnel and off the trees! Hot Tub, barbecue and hammock are all great to use and relax.Yes will definitely return hereCould not fault at all!Thanks Roger & Michelle

We had a fab time, the pictures dont do this place justice. The hut had everything we could have wanted and more, local home grown fruit and vegetables and hosts which couldnt do enough for us, telling us about the local area and even driving us to places. The beach and pub were in beautiful walking distance with lovely views. We will definitely be back!!

What a fabulous place, peace, calm and serenity in a beautiful environment. Michelle and Roger are fantastic hosts and really make you feel at home with a warm friendly welcome. The shepherd's Hut is well appointed with everything you need and is so cosy and comfortable. There is everything you need for outdoors, hammocks, loungers, bbqsmoker and a great hot tub. Do check out the rest of the place too, there are many seating areas and a wooden hutsunroof kitted out with comfortable seating, complimentary drinks, books, suggestions for things to see and do in the area.All in all, 10 out of 10, will definitely go again. This is the second time we have stayed at Keets. As always Roger, Michelle and Bee the dog are the perfect hosts. The little hut is a perfect getaway for anyone wanting peace and quiet. We will definitely be back xx
