Warmwell Reviews

"Clean, comfy, great stay"
James - Mar 2025
"While the lodge had everything we needed and the beds and toilets were spotless, the cooker and some dishes were dirty and the missing dining chairs and fireplace glass front were a bit disappointing."
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"Kitchen tools were pretty much missing or just not there."
Sarah - Jan 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay here! The chalet was spacious enough for all eight of us, which was great."
Tom - Dec 2024
"Our Warmwell review: We stayed and found a few issues, like no extractor fan in the en suite and one bed feeling more like a camping bed. There were some stains on the wallpaper in the main bedroom too. Locking the front door was tricky at first, but the staff responded quickly and sorted it out. Overall, decent service and a mostly comfortable stay."
Claire - Oct 2024
"Lovely place, but a starter pack would help."
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"The lodge was okay, but the fridge and microwave were quite dirty. Also, the bin still had a wrapper stuck on the lid from before. Could do with a better clean."
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Great spot, but the cabin felt a bit cramped for seven."
Emma - Aug 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge! The location offered plenty of privacy and a peaceful vibe, which was just what we needed. The furniture was super comfy and the wifi was reliable-no annoying crashes like some places we've stayed. The only tiny downside was the cleanliness; my daughter dropped something that rolled under the sofa and honestly, it wasnt the nicest to find. But given it was peak season and super busy, we totally get it. Overall, a fab lodge and wed happily book again!"
Emily - Aug 2024
"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The inside was lovely, though some lodges look worn out."
James - Aug 2024
"Had an amazing holiday! Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it special. We definitely plan to come back again soon!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"We recently spent some time at the park and honestly, its a pretty lovely spot. The scenery is stunning and super peaceful, especially considering how many activities there are to choose from. The kids absolutely loved the swimming and cycling around the place; it kept them busy and happy. The organisation of the activities was spot on, which made things easier for us as parents. That said, we did have a few minor gripes. The lodge wasnt exactly spotless-found dog hair everywhere on the floor and stains on the sofa that looked grim. It could do with a proper deep clean. Our boys, aged 2 and 4, ended up covered in hair after playing with trains and cars, even after asking the receptionist for a hoover-no luck there. The TV also took a couple of days to get working after asking about it a few times, but eventually it was sorted. Small things like no bin bags, washing-up liquid, or hand soap in the lodge were frustrating. Were in a Radisson now and its so much better stocked. If only the lodge was cleaner, itd be pretty much perfect!"
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"We stayed at Dorchester Lodge recently. The photos didnt quite show how spacious and airy it actually was, which was a nice surprise. Its in a pretty good spot too, making it easy to get around. The lodge was clean and well-maintained when we arrived and it had all the mod cons - oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and even a washer/drier, so it really felt like a home from home. The beds were comfy, with a large ensuite shower and full-sized bath. Only downside was the phone signal and WiFi being a bit slow, but overall, a lovely stay!"
Emily T. - Aug 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge! Its bright, airy and super clean, which was great. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were spacious and comfy. The location up those steep steps near the ski slope made it feel tucked away in the trees, perfect for relaxing. Though, not ideal if you have mobility issues!"
Rachel - Aug 2024
"Honestly, our stay was quite disappointing. At first glance, it didn't seem too bad, but the place only supplies the bare minimum kitchen stuff - we had to argue just to get an oven tray and they only gave us one, claiming thats all we were allowed. The WiFi kept dropping and there was no TV either, despite us asking multiple times for it to be sorted. The place wasnt very clean either and honestly, it looked more like it hadnt been updated since 2000, not 2021! Wouldnt recommend."
Sam - Aug 2024
"Honestly, we had a rough start. Check-in was late at 5pm and the kitchen was pretty grim when we arrived. Spent ages cleaning everything-counters, sink, hob, table, chairs and the floor. Not what we expected at all."
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"We had a small hiccup when the washing machine in our lodge started leaking, which was a bit of a surprise! I just wanted to freshen up the pool and beach towels mid-week, so we used our lodge towels to soak up the water. Luckily, maintenance arrived super quick-about 15 minutes-and house keeping sorted everything out within 20. The lodge was a tad worn around the edges, but overall, it was clean and tidy. We couldn't have asked for better service!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"The lodge I actually stayed in was totally different from what I booked online. Quite disappointing!"
Emma Carter - Jul 2024
"We stayed in lodge 64 and honestly, the location was spot on-close to all the amenities, which was great. The site itself was really well-kept and perfect for walks, especially if you have dogs. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. The food exceeded our expectations and the WiFi was reliable, which was a bonus. That said, the lodge itself was a bit tired-looking; it could definitely do with a fresh coat of paint and some redecorating. The wooden ceiling made it feel quite dark and the windows were pretty grimy-needed a proper clean. The locks and door opening mechanisms werent great either, a bit flimsy. We loved having the outdoor balcony, but the decking was a bit rotten and could do with some TLC. There was also a nasty smell from the bathroom drains, which wasnt ideal. Overall, good value, just needs a bit of sprucing up to be perfect!"
Harriet - Jun 2024
"We really appreciated the spaciousness and privacy of the lodge - it wasnt overlooked at all, which was great. However, its a shame the decor looked a bit tired and could do with a refresh. The sofa covers were a bit grubby and we had to buy washing-up stuff ourselves since it wasnt provided, which was a bit of a pain."
Emma Clarke - May 2024
"Overall, our stay was decent. The furniture and doors showed a bit of wear and tear, but nothing major. The real issue was when smoke billowed out of the oven the first time we used it - turned out the bottom hadnt been cleaned. I had to scrub it with a brillo pad while wearing rubber gloves. Not exactly what you want after a long journey, but it was manageable."
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"The lodge was a bit worn out and had a couple of small issues, but overall it was comfy. We really loved the location and the stunning view-absolutely fabulous!"
Emma - Apr 2024
"Nice overall, but kitchen could use some oven gloves and scissors for better convenience!"
Emily - Apr 2024
"Really liked the place, it felt fresh and well-kept. No issues at all."
Emma - Apr 2024
"We loved how well-stocked the lodges are - everything you could possibly need is already there. The place was super cosy and honestly, the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. Will definitely return!"
Emma - Mar 2024
"The lodge is cosy and well-kept, perfect for a couple. We did notice that with four people, it might feel a bit tight, but for two, its just right. Lovely stay!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2024
"We recently had a really lovely break at Warmwell and honestly, it was quite enjoyable. We stayed in a spacious 3-bed Morton Lodge, which was perfect for our family needs. Its true that a few small areas could do with a bit more thorough cleaning, but overall, it was clean and well-organised, with everything we needed for a comfy stay. The location is just stunning-the scenery around the park is really picturesque. Theres plenty to keep everyone entertained, no matter what age you are. We especially loved the Off Road Jeeps tour led by Tommy; he was super friendly and really helpful, which made the experience even better. The kids had a blast in the large soft play area, outdoor playgrounds and with the Ringos, not to mention the swimming pool. The evening entertainment was pretty good too, with fun activities for all ages. The kids seemed to really enjoy the disco and we thought shows like Lights, Camera and Musicals and the holiday game show were quite fun. Food-wise, we had some tasty meals from The Boathouse and ordered from the Showbar, all of good quality and served quickly-definitely a plus. We visited during off-peak times, so some venues had limited hours, but with a bit of planning, we didnt feel like we missed out on anything. There was still plenty to do and wed happily return."
Emma - Feb 2024
"Very impressed with the cleanliness and thoughtful touches."
Emma - Feb 2024
"Me and my family had a amazing holliday at warmwell last week, lots to do ski slopes with ringo's roller rink entertainment arts and crafts and more and one staff member was amazing and stood out was rebecca she was so nice danced many times with my daughter listend joked daily wear as some of your other staff members we felt were not so welcoming with was a little let down but still over all we loved it and we will defonatly be coming back again"
Sarah - Aug 2022
"Everything was amazing. Only advice is don’t book the “pool party” it’s expensive, less time in the pool than the free sessions you can book. They don’t open the water slide and half the floaties were punctured. One life guard was also particularly rude and we all came away disappointed. But everything else we couldnt fault and location is great for exploring. Our lodge was also one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in."
Abbie - Aug 2022
"Great range of facilities at the location."
Richard - Jul 2022
"We had a great holiday. The children tried out new activities and really enjoyed their time. The staff throughout the park were very helpful and always asking if there is anything we need. The lodge was very clean and the beds were comfortable."
Jaimi - Jul 2022
"Highly recommended ?"
Clare - Jul 2022
"Fantastic holiday! Warmwell is in a great location, only 15mins from the beach! The lodge has everything you might need: toaster, kettle, microwave, cutlery, cooking utensils, washing machine, bath towels. Lots of activities on site to keep the children entertained! Staff super friendly & helpful!"
Zoe - Jul 2022
"Great place for a break for the kids, expensive, but isn't everything at the moment"
Richard - Jul 2022
