Swanage Coastal Park Reviews

"Lovely stay"
Emma Clarke - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was spotless and comfy."
James - Nov 2024
"We recently stayed in Swanage for a long weekend, marking our first Hoseasons trip. The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed, which was great. Its situated right near the play area, perfect for our 4-year-old, though sadly, part of the equipment was broken and under repair, so he couldnt use it. The beds were comfy and the quilts kept us warm at night-no complaints there. Our only little niggle was the lounge lighting; it was a bit harsh, so a lamp wouldve been a nice touch. We didnt walk into town, preferring to drive and park, but we were lucky enough to catch the Folk Festival going on, which made the weekend extra special. The lady on reception (we didnt catch her name) was really friendly and helpful, which set a positive tone for our stay. All in all, our first Hoseasons experience was pretty good - wed definitely consider going back!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was perfect for us."
Emma Carter - Sep 2024
"Our Swanage Coastal Park review: Comfortable and cosy place"
Charlie - Aug 2024
"Nice caravan overall, though the mattresses could use an upgrade, but not a big deal."
Jamie - Aug 2024
"Comfortable stay, would return"
Emma Carter - May 2024
"Great value for money"
Jess - May 2024
"We had a really great time staying in this modern lodge. The bathroom mirror with Bluetooth speakers was a nice touch and the hot tub was perfect for unwinding. Definitely planning to return soon, it was such a lovely escape!"
Alex - Apr 2024
"We had a really lovely stay, super peaceful and just what we needed. The lodge was spotless and comfortable and the hot tub was a real highlight-so relaxing! The staff couldnt have been more helpful; when we had a little issue with the hot tub on our first night, we called the out-of-hours number and the warden arrived within 10 minutes to sort it out, which we really appreciated. The reception team were also very friendly and welcoming. There arent any onsite facilities, but honestly, that suited us fine since we just wanted to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Thanks to everyone!"
Alex - Apr 2024
"Comfy lodge with all we needed, really pleased!"
Emma - Mar 2024
"We had a fantastic stay! The caravan was really warm and spotless, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfy sofa. Definitely worth recommending to friends!"
Emma - Mar 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this lodge! The bed was super comfy and the hot tub really made our trip special. Plus, bringing our little dog along was such a bonus. Definitely recommend!"
Emma - Dec 2023
"We really loved our stay here, the lodge was stunning and super peaceful. The facilities, especially the hot tub, were definitely the best we've experienced-so hot and relaxing and staff checked it twice daily, which was great. The only hiccup was on the last day when we agreed to have the hot tub drained and cleaned. When it was refilled overnight, the heating stopped working, but luckily it kicked back in as we were leaving. Still, we reported it, so hopefully it gets sorted. Overall, a lovely place!"
Emma Parker - Nov 2023
"The lodge was really lovely, super clean and well located near town and the beach. The view from the hilltop was stunning, especially with a glimpse of the sea. We loved it!"
Emma Blake - Nov 2023
"Really happy with the quality, but more outdoor drinkware would be great!"
Emma Clarke - Nov 2023
"It would be really helpful if there were some clear instructions for the hot tub and hob, as we werent sure how to operate them. Apart from that, everything else was spot on and made for a lovely stay."
Emma - Nov 2023
"The lodge was fantastic-spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Sadly, the weather wasnt great, but you cant control that. The scenery was stunning and Id definitely return. Really loved our stay!"
James Carter - Nov 2023
"Really pleased with the place, it suited us perfectly."
Alex - Nov 2023
"We spent an amazing long weekend here and honestly, the weather couldnt have been better! The views of the sea were stunning and we loved wandering down to the bay and exploring the town. We didnt really use the on-site facilities since it was just us three adults, but walking back uphill was quite the workout. Still, wed return just for that beautiful scenery!"
Emma Collins - Nov 2023
"Comfortable stay, would return"
James - Nov 2023
"We stayed with our toddler and found the location a bit tricky since the caravan was right at a busy junction. A small fenced area nearby wouldve made us feel more at ease. Its a good spot overall, but that little addition would help families with little ones for sure!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"The place was really comfy and spotlessly clean, which we appreciated. The only minor issue was that the first step was a bit tall for us, especially since my knees are a bit stiff from a fall. Still, overall, quite good!"
Emma Carter - Jul 2023
"Great experience overall!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"Really impressed with the caravans cleanliness and the hot tub was a bonus!"
David - Mar 2020
"Great stay, would recommend"
Emma - Dec 2019
"Really enjoyed it, would recommend."
James - Oct 2019
"The lodge was spotless and had all the essentials, though a fresh coat of paint wouldnt go amiss. Loved having the dishwasher and washing machine for all the wet towels. The hot tub was a real highlight-so relaxing and it was checked regularly. Definitely enjoyed our stay!"
Emma - Oct 2019
"Really enjoyed our day out there!"
Jamie - Sep 2019
"Perfect for a quick escape"
Emma Carter - Sep 2019
"Lovely quiet place to stay with beautiful views and less than 10 minutes to the town centre and beach."
Susan - Jul 2022
"Brilliant would recommend and come again"
Harvey - Jun 2022
"Our holiday was really enjoyable. The views were amazing and it was only a short walk into Swanage were there is a gorgeous beach, shops, cafes, fish and chips, lots of places to walk and explore and more. The hot tub was so relaxing and a real treat after all the walking we did. The caravan is on a steep hill (hence the great views) so it will not be suitable for everyone. We highly rate this park and area."
Shirley Ann - Jun 2022
"good standard of accommodation, clean and modern. Nice location overlooking Swanage Bay. Maybe a little welcome pack with local information would be nice for future guests."
Kelly - Jun 2022
"We had an absolutely amazing time and our children loved every second"
Marsha - Jun 2022
"A lovely quiet park just back from the front in Swanage. All amenities are available in the town but the park itself is ideal for those who just want a very quiet holiday."
Hilary - May 2022
"Picking a quiet time of the year was a help. The site is well ordered though hilly, which we knew about. Overall we have nothing to complain about."
John - May 2022
