Set in beautiful countryside on a working farm in Somerset, these modern lodges are just a 20 minute drive from Glastonbury with the stunning Mendip Hills within easy reach. There are many historic places to visit - Glastonbury Tor, the city of Wells and the stalactite caverns of Cheddar Gorge - plus a wealth of pretty walking routes and local pubs close by.

Relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings from your outdoor hot tub, pop to the well-stocked farm shop on site to buy local produce or indulge in a bit of wild swimming in the river at the pretty village of West Lydford. The striking ruins of Glastonbury Abbey sit within 36 acres of parkland with a museum, picnic areas and a cider orchard - perfect for a day trip.

New Oaks Lodge sleeps four people and has one double bedroom with ensuite and one twin room. There's a bath with overhead shower and a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen area. Patio doors lead out onto the decking where you can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the spectacular views across the Somerset countryside.

For a great day out, had to the Wookey Hole Caves and see if you can spot the infamous Witch of Wookey! There's lots for the kids to do, including a Magical Mirror Maze, superb play areas and stunning rock formations.

We had a wonderful 4-night break in this gorgeous Lodge at New Oaks Farm with our two young children.
The lodge was well looked-after, finished to a high quality, and looked out onto the Farm's paddock with the new-born lambs, which was lovely. The Hot Tub was excellent and chemical checked twice daily, and the electric fire place was wonderful to come in to later in the evening.
The owners were welcoming and helpful, provided a comprehensive induction into the lodge so that we knew where everything was and how to work all of the gadgets, and were very quick to respond when we had an issue which needed to be resolved.
Beautiful surroundings and close to a little shop, pub and kid's play area.

Wonderful lodge, clean and modern with a warm welcome from Laura. Very comfortable with views. Our hosts really had thought of everything.
Wonderful lodge, clean and modern with a warm welcome from Laura. Very comfortable with views. Our hosts really had thought of everything.
Immaculate lodge in a great location for touring the area.
Laura and Gary are great hosts, Laura met us and showed us around the lodge when we arrived and explained everything. The lodge is well laid out and spacious with 2 bedrooms. The hot tub is well maintained and looks out over the countryside. The lodge is kept warm with central heating and there is a fan heater. The kitchen is well equipment and there is a starter pack of tea, coffee, dishwasher and washing tablet. We got stuck as my Mum had forgotten her phone charge for an old Nokia phone, Laura and Gary found one and able to help. This was great hospitality. Wells, Yeovil, Street, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury are nearby. From Yeovil, we went to West Bay (where Broadchurch was filmed) which is great to walk along the beach on a sunny day. Street is brilliant for the Clarks Outlet Village. Would recommend the New Oaks Farm Lodges as they are great hosts and brilliant lodges.
Gary and Laura are the perfect hosts this is the third time we have stayed there the lodges are excellent we will return
Lovely place to stay with easy access to a wide variety of places to visit. Great hosts that make you feel really welcome.
An amazing place to stay, very relaxing
Couldn’t of asked anymore of our stay. Lodge was well sized, well stocked and very clean. Hot tub was great too. Laura and Gary were incredible hosts and we loved our farm tour. We were also lucky enough to see a couple of lambs being born. We self catered our whole stay but there were lots of places not too far away had we wanted take away or to eat out. We loved our stay so much we have already booked again for October.
Having stayed for a wonderful week at New Oaks Farm Lodges last summer we knew what to expect for our long weekend Easter break and it didn’t disappoint. We had another great time in a beautifully appointed lodge and even got to feed the lambs on the farm. Just prefect!
We had a lovely time! The lodge was new and beautifully furnished. There were restrictions or time limit on the hot tub which was nice as the last Ho Seasons lodge we stayed at had an 8 o’clock curfew. The hosts were warm and friendly, we even had a look around their farm and fed the yews. They thought of everything from a dish washer to bath robes! Over all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again
Was a home from home, felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble
