"This was our third visit to Rookery Manor, and our first time staying in the cottages and once again, it did not disappoint. The accommodation was beautifully modern, and we especially loved the garden area.Karen was incredibly helpful we messaged to ask for a clothes horse, and she brought one over within minutes. Nothing was too much trouble.This isnt a complaint, but the only thing that could have improved our stay would be having a table and chairs outside to enjoy meals outdoors.Well definitely be returning!"

The little garden was a lovely touch and was very private with the hot tub at the end of it. The hot tub was a lovely new model in great condition. The apartment was immaculate and very clean. We had a small problem with our hot tub and Karen the manager sorted it out very quickly. Honestly couldnt recommend this place more highly and we will definitely be returning"

All the bedrooms were nicely sized, each with a TV, which was a bonus. The main bathrooms ensuite with a shower was handy after a day out. Having a washing machine and dryer was super useful, especially with the hot tub. Only 10 mins to Brean and 15 to Weston, we loved it and can't wait to come back!"

The IMAX 3D cinema system is fantastic - you will feel like you are swimming along with the animals.

Longleat Safari and Adventure Park - BA12 7NW

You may have seen this amazing attraction on the BBC1 Animal Park programme. This is actually the first safari park outside of Africa where you can get close to the animals from the comfort of your own car. Some of the highlights include the zebras, the wallabies in wallaby wood and the sea lion escorted cruise to Gorilla Island. And of course the magnificent lions and tigers are a must see. This really is an animal experience with a difference and you can save money by booking your tickets online. This attraction is open until the end of October. Rhondda Heritage Park - CF37 2NP

Rhondda Heritage Park is located at the former Lewis Merthyr Colliery and is a popular attraction with a range of facilities including a visitor centre, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a lovely period re-constructed Village Street. Fully guided tours are available and include multimedia presentations as well as a unique trip underground where visitors will experience the life of a coal miner. The site also boasts a children's play area and an underground experience zone.

Puzzlewood - GL16 8QB

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin.
