Golden Gate Reviews

Poor quality mattresses for a gold standard caravan. Some of the bedding was not clean and sofas were dirty. Curtains in lounge area were coming off their tracks Mosquito nets would be beneficial for the doors
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
We were supposed to stay at golden gate in the silver standard caravan but due to whoever was in the caravan before us trashing it we got upgraded to a platinum caravan free of charge at thier sister site white house just next door we were able to use both the facilities at white house and golden gate including the swimming pool in golden gate we didnt have any issues and all the staff were friendly and helpful
Kirsty - Nov 2023
Accommodation next to a railway line. Noise started at 5am and continued until 11pm. Space cramped - there were 5 of us and I would certainly not advise it should be used by more than that.
Lynn - Jul 2023
Caravan was good except electric went off twice but staff fixed it quickly
Joanne - Jul 2023
Caravan was nice but lacked few utensils including oven shelf's did not have grill to fit in oven so took little longer to cook for 8 people but great van
Sarah - May 2023
blind cords broken ,no waste bins in van ,no lids for pots ,even the tin opener was broken
Leonard - May 2023
Carpet was dirty on
Magdalena - Apr 2023
In my opinion this is not a gold caravan bedrooms are ok but please specify which beds you need making up . toilet and shower room ok .kitchen there was everything in there needed except a pair of scissors and no jug, kitchen table needs a good scrub and paint job.Living room ok .There's no fixture and fitting making this a gold caravan .Heating in the van excellent very warm.
Belinda - Mar 2023

Phyllis - Jul 2022
Me and my children (young baby and toddler) absolutely loved it! Great value for money the site facilities and staff were so friendly and helpful and the caravan was lovely and clean and looked brand new! Definitely recommend and will be coming back
Emily - Jul 2022
Want to go back
Elizabeth - Jul 2022
Well worth the money we paid, only 1 thing wrong was we got charged £10 for use off the pool, Even though our paperwork said it was completely... Must add not enough pillows for each bed.
Barry - Jul 2022
Clean site, didn't use many of the facilities so based my rating upon the choice of facilities that were available. Another bin area would be useful as it was a fair trek to the bins, other than that it was a clean, quiet site, well maintained and would be happy to visit again.
Anthony - Jul 2022

Steven - Jan 1970
Perfect for what we wanted. A base to shower and sleep whilst we explored surrounding areas. A clean and spacious caravan, with no issues at all. Very happy with our break away!
We did not use the on site facilities as we were too busy!
Rachel - Jan 1970
Caravan great although could of done with a deep clean.
Mollie - Jan 1970

Kimberley - Jan 1970
We stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute, unfortunately due to lockdown the club wasnt open so cant comment on the club. The caravan was very clean & the mattresses were like ones you have in your house! Not the cheap budget ones you normally get in a caravan where you come home with bruised legs from springs, alcohol was very reasonable priced, good location for visiting many places

Absolutely loved how well maintained and equipped this cottage is. Plenty of dog walks right on the doorstep. Very friendly host, they were so efficient and communication was excellent. It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!
