Ogwen Bank Caravan and Lodge Park Reviews

"Really enjoyed our stay here!"
Jessie - Mar 2025
"We had a lovely stay in one of the river-side pods with hot tubs. The views were stunning and it was so peaceful just relaxing in the hot tub with a drink. The pod itself was really cosy, clean and comfortable upon arrival. The staff at the restaurant were super friendly and the food was delicious. Only thing wed suggest is maybe some soap in the bathroom next time. Overall, wed definitely recommend Ogwen Bank and would love to come back again!"
Jess - Jan 2025
"We had such a lovely weekend here! The place really ticked all the boxes for us and were already planning to return. Our dogs adored the underfloor heating and had a blast outside in the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it-poor girl! Definitely a hit with both us and our furry friends!"
Martin - Jan 2025
"We stayed at the lodge over New Years and honestly, the hot tub was fantastic! The setting was stunning and the restaurant was really welcoming, especially for our dog. However, the place felt more suited for a couple rather than a family of four with a dog. The single bathroom meant passing through a bedroom at night wasnt ideal and there were no wardrobes, so we had to live out of our suitcases, which was a bit of a pain. Still, it was a lovely break overall and wed probably go back. Just maybe not with the whole family next time!"
Harriet - Jan 2025
"Our Ogwen Bank Caravan and Lodge Park review: We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. The log burner and hot tub made it extra special. Friendly hosts too. We'd love to come back!"
Charlotte - Dec 2024
"We found the pod really cosy and spotless, which was great. The hot tubs cover was quite heavy, so lifting it was a bit of a struggle. A clear guide on adjusting the temperature wouldve been handy. The outdoor meal was lovely, but we felt it was a bit pricey to do often. Still, we enjoyed our stay!"
Lucy - Dec 2024
"We had a wonderful, chilled getaway. The cottage was spotless and well-equipped, with some nice little touches. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a break!"
Imogen - Nov 2024
"We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, airy and super modern. Felt warm and cosy, plus its right near Zip World. Watching people from the window was a bonus!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"We stayed here recently and honestly, the location is spot on - really easy to get around. The lodge itself was quite nice, well kept and felt good quality. However, check-in was a bit of a letdown; the staff seemed eager to finish up and rushed through it, which was a bit frustrating. Wifi was pretty much useless most of the time, which was disappointing considering what we paid. Theres not really any space for kids to play, since the whole site is packed with lodges everywhere. Overpriced, especially during the school holidays, but overall, not too bad."
Sam - Aug 2024
"Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and spotlessly clean environment."
Oliver - Aug 2024
"This cottage really hit the spot for us, peaceful and quiet, perfect spot to unwind. The hot tub was a lovely bonus! Owners were friendly but not overbearing at all."
Dave - Jul 2024
"We had an absolutely lovely stay in this peaceful spot, tucked away in a pretty and private area. The owners were genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, but it never felt intrusive. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling-so relaxing! One thing to note is that the cottage is under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but it might be worth considering if you're sensitive to noise. Overall, a charming place with great hosts!"
Chloe Bennett - Jul 2024
"We loved the location for exploring North Wales; its super convenient. The park and rooms were spotless and well-maintained. Staff at reception were really friendly and welcoming. Only tiny gripe-the lounge seating was a bit snug for four adults, just a small corner settee. Otherwise, a lovely stay!"
Claire - Jun 2024
"Really enjoyed our time at Goddards Mead. The cottage was perfect in every aspect. Already planning our return!"
Chris - May 2024
"We had a really lovely stay at this cottage, even though its on a working farm, it feels surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely people. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to get out of. The gardens perfect for dogs-fully enclosed and with nice furniture. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxteds restaurants are worth checking out, especially The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend!"
Daniel - Apr 2024
"Had a lovely stay at Ogwen Bank. The staff made us feel really welcome and the location is simply stunning. Definitely coming back soon!"
Clara Robbins - Jan 2024
"We had a really lovely stay at this place, nestled in such a peaceful, private spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and always there if we needed anything, yet respectful of our privacy. The hot tub was a real bonus after a long day cycling around. Only thing to note is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so you do get quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us too much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth considering. Overall, a great find!"
Raj - Jan 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this little gem, tucked away in a really peaceful spot. The owners were super friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, but also kept that perfect sense of privacy. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - absolutely loved it! Just a heads up though, the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive to noise, it might be worth considering. Overall, a great place to unwind!"
Rajesh - Dec 2023
"We had such a lovely stay! The place was well thought out and really comfortable. The hosts were genuinely friendly and very accommodating. Honestly, it was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Were already planning to return!"
Alexandra - Sep 2023
"Really enjoyed it, didnt want to leave!"
Jenna - Jun 2023
"Really appreciated the upgrade, the new place was absolutely fantastic!"
Mark - Jun 2023
"Really enjoyed the visit, the dog-friendly atmosphere made it even better, such a lovely place to wander."
Jasmine - Jun 2023
"Really enjoyed the stay, super comfy and the hot tub was a bonus!"
James - May 2023
"We had such a lovely stay at this charming countryside house. The courtyard was gorgeous and the hot-tub really made it special. Perfect spot for peaceful walks and relaxing days."
Olivia - May 2023
"We loved the stunning mountain views, no matter the weather. Can't wait to return next year, it truly is an amazing place!"
Alex - Jul 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend it!"
Emily Carter - Nov 2019

Jamie - May 2018
"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back!"
Hannah - Oct 2017
"An amazing break away, would thoroughly recommend. Location is perfect, food in the grill is amazing and the pod we stayed in was perfect. Will definitely be back"
Katharine - Jul 2022
"Great location for Zipworld, lovely and peaceful surroundings."
Christine - Jul 2022
"Lovely park on the side of a river. Was very quite when we were there as we went the start of Scottish school holidays so not many people around at the time. Lodge was lovely and clean as was the hot tub, ours was in a more private area at the back of the decking. Was based behind the quarry where you could watch the zip line go past all day. We were even brave enough to go on ourselves and was an amazing experience. Would def recommend if your in the area for zip world."
Linzi - Jul 2022
"Beautiful place to stay, would definitely recommend"
Laura - Jun 2022
"First time visiting but definitely not the last. The site itself is beautiful, the restaurant food was delicious and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. With regards to the surrounds, what can I say, you can walk for miles with such beautiful scenery of the mountains, steams and rivers, woodland and sheep and it is right next to part of zip world. The lodge was beautiful and comfortable. There isn't a single bad thing I would say about the place. I plan on going back again next year."
Joanne - May 2022
"Perfect location for amazing walk! Lodge was lovely with a little hot tub outside, only thing I would suggest is if it’s a pet friendly lodge to possibly have a gate that can be shut so the dogs can be on the decking without being tied up."
Megan - May 2022
"Excellent location comfortable accommodation and friendly staff"
Graham - May 2022
"Beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodation. Great location for snowdon and other attractions."
Sharon - May 2022
"What a fantastic place! The lodge was warm, comfortable and the hot tub was bliss! The Ogwen Bank team were all very friendly. The site was ideally located for sightseeing. Ticked all the boxes and will definitely be going back!!"
Ian - May 2022
"We stayed through Hoseasons. The park is so ideal for Zipworld....literally a 10min walk down the river and up the hill. There is a very small restaurant on site which does decent pub food and we found perfectly sufficed for us on our arrival....advise yo precooked though as it is small. Staff all around site are really helpful. Plus side is that you can also eat/drink at Zipworld as it is walkable. The Beechwood Lodge with hot tub was lovely. Comfy and spacious for 2 adults and 2 teen boys and has most things you need. No towels though! Also, Beechwood is next to the road so advise earplugs! We also went to The Wave in Dolgarrog. Highly recommend activities there too....surfing and Ninja course. The site is being extended with new lodges so some areas are in a little disarray. However a perfect, peaceful spot to visit the beautiful Snowdonia area."
Jana - Apr 2022
"Was gorgeous. All the amenities were provided. Staff were so helpful. Great views. Right next to the ogwen Valley and waterfall."
Harvinder - Apr 2022
