After booking our wedding at Rookley, we had the most amazing stay after a fantastic reception in the club which was transformed by Lisa and the team of staff who were polite and helpful all day, hats off to Tammy for the entertainment too. It really was the best day of our lives with many memories thankyou to all involved with making our stay fabulous, we made full use of the facilities the next day and the children enjoyed the swimming pools and hot tubs made it a special weekend for them too.

This place is great we stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage with hot tub You cannot fault this place it has all the equipment you need in cottage i.e Dishwasher- cooker -washing machine- fridge and seprate freezer the whole of up stairs is one extra largeroom with bathroom.. There is large lake for fishing why the lady's indulge inthe hot tub and there is plenty for kids to do .. Crazy golf bike hire arcades.. And you are pretty central to all of the island.. Sandown is a great beach .. Shanklin is a 15 minute drive with great places to eat You will not be disappointed.!!😀 Croydon

This was nice and cosy , plus having a small garden at the back. I also like the French doors leading into a small patio at the front. Also this was nice and light. I also like having a washing machine , but I did not like having a dish washer there.

Well equipped. Comfortable bed. Lovely kitchen with full oven, microwave, dishwasher , washing machine. Full bathroom.
Samantha, Bexleyheath, Kent
Date of stay: 4th June 2016
3 gripes - shower surround (seals) a bit grubby and in need of attention. Large, ugly looking crack in bathroom washbasin. No cleaning behind lounge sofa bed - when pulled out, lots of dust and debris including dead insects and spiders exposed!
Brenda, Haywards Heath
Date of stay: 4th June 2016
The cottage was booked as there was three disabled in the party, although the doors were wide enough to take a wheelchair, the bathroom was not suitable due to the fact that there was not grab bars and the shower was over the bath.
The bed was on the low side so help was needed to get out of it.

Cleaners need to be supervised as the bins were not emptied and the dinning room table was very sticky.
Martin, Wellingborough
Date of stay: 28th May 2016
The cottage was really nice. It had everything you needed
John, Farnborough, Hampshire

The accommodation was good although there wasn't much room in the bedrooms.
Hayley, Orpington
Date of stay: 2nd May 2016
Would have given an overall 10 if it weren't for the Hot tub being a bit 'soupy'. I would definitely stay again (have already stayed twice previously) and will certainly recommend you to friends. Carisbrooke Cottage Plus was fabulous.

Date of stay: 11th March 2016
Cottage was lovely the only thing was there was cigarette ends outside the front door which isn't nice ,perhaps they could get a box on the outside wall for cigarette ends ( like pubs have).
Otherwise cottage lovely.
Darren, Salisbury
Date of stay: 11th March 2016
overall pretty good, apart from building material outside of cottage so parking a bit akward, rear garden could do with sorting out

Date of stay: 20th February 2016
Had a Godshill Cottage and everything was good. Very comfortable and clean. Hot tub was amazing
Michael, Dagenham
Date of stay: 15th February 2016
on arrival we collected the keys, as we opened the door to the cottage we noticed the carpet was dirty like someone had been in & out all day, we took a look around & noticed it hadn't been hoovered throughout, there were crumbs on the kitchen worktop & tea spilt on the sink drainer. one of the beds had chocolate on the sheets & a packet of sweets was found on the floor as well as some crisps (not in wrapper). not what we expected on our 3rd visit to Rookley
Diana, Worthing
Date of stay: 5th February 2016

Emily, Southampton
Date of stay: 1st February 2016
Lovely little cottage and hot tub was ace.
James, Winchester
Date of stay: 8th January 2016
Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Concerns I had read about cleanliness in previous reviews proved to be unfounded for us.
I would suggest you bring flip flops in order to walk to the hot-tub, which is accessed at the back of the cottage via slabs - of which there are too few to make the walk relaxing.
The only thing that didn't work was the dryer on the washer/dryer, but that was only a mild annoyance.
Alison, Eastleigh
Date of stay: 28th November 2015
Had a great time
John, Hayes Middlesex
Date of stay: 16th October 2015
I go fishing at the lakes at Rookley Park, so the caravan is a base to for the evenings only, my only is trying to watch a 19" tv, not on in this day and age of the big flat screens, could do with upgrading.
Robert, Rugby
Date of stay: 10th October 2015
Our static caravan Solent 3 was clean and comfortable, everything was in perfect working order and the kitchen was large enough for the 3 of us adults to move around in at the same time, a spacious lounge and bedrooms with a great shower and central heating made it a joy to be in and only a 3 minute walk to the clubhouse and we look forward to going again.
Kellie, Queenborough
Date of stay: 3rd October 2015

I booked this as a cheap get away, and when we got to our accommodation I was pleasantly supprised. It was a lot better than I had expected it to be for the price we paid.
Kabi, Oxford
Date of stay: 29th August 2015
We liked the cottage for its space, cleanliness and quality. Good solid furniture, equipped kitchen and ability to park outside the cottage.

We would have liked a bathmat, spare loo rolls and kitchen towels. The bath has only a half-shower curtain so water gets everywhere. I believe we can hire towels on site...but we would expect a mat at least to be included. We bought one from Newport Sainsbury anyway. It would also be useful to be able to borrow fans as some days and nights were very humid and warm.
Ricahrd, Old Bury,west Midlands
Date of stay: 22nd August 2015
We paid for a pet free caravan and under closer inspection the previous guests had used one of the beds for a dog bed there were dog hairs all in the bed so the cleaners had not replaced the sheets. Also we opened the oven and the baking tray was fithy and had food and grease in it. Everythink else about the van was good. Apart from the location right by campers toilets.
Sarah, Bedford
Date of stay: 22nd August 2015

Godshill Cottage is very pleasant, grass area where hot tub is situated was a little tatty but overall cannot complain at all.
Damian, the General Manager, is a great asset to Rookley Country Park, we had a minor complaint with food one evening and he definitely went the extra mile plus, to rectify matters. We were very, very satisfied. Thank you again Damian.

Date of stay: 11th April 2015
We stayed at Rookley Country Park for a week during the Easter holidays with our daughter and her family. Our daughter had a caravan and we had one of the lodges. We could not fault either of the accommodations, both were very clean and had all the amenities one would want. The site itself was brilliant, staff were all very helpful and our grandchildren had a ball. The only comment we would make is that it was a shame the "Takeaway" was only open Friday/Saturday evenings. We would definitely return and value for money it was excellent.
Russelle, Oxford

Good sized accommodation with a small though very well equipped kitchen. The furnishings were generally of a high standard although the settee in our particular cottage could do with being replaced.

Date of stay: 21st February 2015
The caravan was very well laid out and central heating was excellent,
The van was very clean and tidy.
On site caravan owners seem to be a bit problematic and think they can do as they wish on the park.
David, Hemel Hempstead
Date of stay: 21st February 2015
We booked a caravan, it was clean, spacious, all you needed included. Had a couple of minor issues, but staff delt with them immediatley.

Date of stay: 20th February 2015
only let down by incorrect tv leads, meaning the family could not watch any telly on our first evening. This took 2 visits to the front desk and 24 hrs to supply. I realise possible start of the season and some guest would have had bigger issues, so only a small issue.
Barry, Fareham Hants
Date of stay: 24th January 2015
Chalet was excellent cleanliness was spotlessly clean one of the best places that we have stayed at all the facilities you could which for in the kitchen good hot water /shower etc

The cottages tick all the boxes for a short family holiday. We went in Oct half term and it was warm, clean and suited our family. Close to fishing and easy walk to main complex. Facilities were spot on and staff excellent. Ignore the negative reports, you just cant please some people. Enjoy your stay.
Robin, New Milton, Hants.
Date of stay: 3rd October 2014
The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and we and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the week. It was an ideal property and location as far we were concerned and had everything we needed.
We would have liked a small knife for preparing food, just a very small point! I did find it quite difficult to set the shower temperature, thought it should have had a thermostatic control, as it got very hot.

Ron, Southampton
Date of stay: 27th September 2014

My wife and i liked the location very much we were able to park the car and leave it for the full two weeks and travel everywhere by bus or walking, the footpath system and the buses are brilliant, Newport is pretty much the centre of The Isle of Wight, so you can get transport to anywhere on the island from there so we had a great time.

Paul, Brighton
Date of stay: 9th August 2014
Accommodation was very comfortable, and all in all it met our needs the only downside was it just lacked any sort of freezer, which we had already done shopping for so this was all wasted
Claire, Lingfield. Surrey
Date of stay: 2nd August 2014
We had an excellent holiday on the Isle of Wight. Rookley is ideally situated for holidaymakers.

The surroundings at Rookley Park were very pleasant and clean.

There were plenty of activities to keep the family happy. The children's entertainers were excellent and us adults enjoyed them too. Our children loved Tammy, Charlie and Beth.
We found the night entrainment excellent the live bands were extremely enjoyable.

Our accommodation was very clean and spacious and staff came round to check all was well. Nothing was too much trouble.

Overall we were so impressed that we are going to book for next year and extend our stay.
Cathy, Northamptonshire

The cottage was lovely, very much a home from home, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the hot tub was very nice, we used it each night even thou it was cold and raining. The hot tub had however been broken by previous customers making some of the air jet not operational but we made full use of those that were
