"The lodges themselves are OK, reasonably well equipped and good decor. We won't be returning though. The website gives a check in time of "after 4pm" it's only after booking and paying that you get a message that check in is only between 5 and 6pm, with fines if even 1 minute late! This meant we had to take extra time off work and turned an already long journey into a really stressful one, worrying about being late if the traffic was bad. Other things to bear in mind are that the description details zip lock beds, which they aren't and caused us problems, the website also has a check out time of "before 10 am", but it's actually before 9am, again with fines if a minute late. Not the fault of the accommodation but if you're not a keen angler there's very little to do in the local area."

"Our Willow Lakes Lodges review: The place was lovely overall, though we did notice a broken toilet seat which was a bit of a pain. Also, a couple of tiles in the kitchen were cracked. We mentioned it to reception, so fingers crossed it gets fixed soon!"

"We recently stayed at Wren Lodge with a group of five for a short getaway. The place was spotless and really comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone. It had all the essentials, including a washing machine which was a lifesaver! The hot tub was definitely the highlight - we loved it. A little step wouldve been handy and having the hot tub under cover might have kept the blossoms out, but honestly, these are minor things. We had such a great time and would happily return. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break!"

"Overall, we found the lodge pretty comfy and clean, which was nice! There are a few things that could do with fixing up-like the bathroom taps, sink plug and shower door. The paintwork and blinds are a bit tatty, especially the broken one behind the TV. Nothing too major, but some upkeep would help a lot."

"We had a lovely stay overall! The beds were super comfy and the furniture felt really solid. The hot tub was a highlight, even if it would have been better under cover since we visited in early March. Sadly, the lights werent working in the tub, but it was still a great experience. Definitely recommend!"

"The Lodge was stunning but we were a bit disappointed by a couple of niggly things. The lamps in the living room didnt work and the main lights were quite bright, so we ended up using the bedroom lamps instead. The light outside by the hot tub also didnt work. Plus, there was a dirty glass left on one of the bedside units and we wouldve liked access to the heating timer, as it was really cold during the day and it seemed to be on a timer. The plates were too big to fit in the dishwasher, which was a bit of a waste and there were no dishcloths. That said, we still enjoyed our stay, it is beautifully located and super peaceful. It was the break we were looking for and well definitely visit again!"

"It really was the perfect place to stay for a quiet and restful few days away. Close enough to Grimsby to visit the Fishing Heritage Museum along with the Time Trap museum. The accommodation is contemporary, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, albeit the double beds seemed small compared to our Super-king at home and mattress was certainly harder. Overall it was fantastic."

That's exactly what this holiday and location allowed us to do.
Loved the quiet, nature and especially the hot tub!
The owners Jo and Laurence were really helpful and the one slight snag we had was sorted out immediately.
We will definitely be returning.
A brilliant place for rest and relaxation and a relatively short drive to cleethorpes, Mablethorpe ,and a little further afield, Skegness for the seaside. Or a short drive to Louth for a pleasant little market town."

"This is our second stay at Willow Lakes. The first time the weather was continuous sunshine.
The second time (bearing in mind it was early Spring) the weather was changeable and colder, but it didn't matter. We enjoyed the surrounding area and the accommodation was first class."
