"Enjoyed the break, need clothes hooks and bed mattress was awful (probably ruined by previous occupants sitting on the bed to watch tv)!"

"What an absolute gem of a find this place was and in the loveliest little village too. We stayed in the monument view lodge, it was brand new and stunning, a real home from home. Had everything you could need, including washing machine, hand wash at sinks, dishwasher tablets, bin liners, iron, hairdryer, clothes drying rail etc. Staff were so welcoming and helpful, honestly couldn't do enough to assist. My son was sick in my bed one night and I stripped the bed right away and washed it, next morning the staff came along with replacement duvet, pillow, mattress protector, bed linen and towels to replace the others. No issues at all and couldn't be more helpful. Beds were so comfy as were the pillows. Hot tub was brilliant and powerful, serviced daily to keep chemicals balanced. We were able to reduce the temperature too as the week was in the high 20s so really hot. The standard fan in the lodge def came in handy! Kids loved the playpark which was right behind our lodge. We happened to be there for the annual 1940s festival - it was superb and only £5 per adult entrance fee. The grounds are kept beautiful and lovely walk around them. Sunset lounge was lovely but only open fri to Mon until English school hols kick in, same with the pub outside the grounds. Food bus is fab, big portions. We visited Petwood hotel and enjoyed learning all about the dambusters, the jubilee outdoor swimming pool which was heated and brilliant, and the Kinema, lovely walk into the village too where there are treats full of little shops, deli, restaurants and cafes. Skegness isn't far for a trip to the beach. Only small thing was we had very little phone signals and the wifi, which is a paid for addition, wasn't working in the lodge. It wasn't an issue though as stop by at reception got it sorted and they gave us owners wifi for our stay free of charge. Given this is a luxury stay, I would usually expect WiFi to come as standard no cost in a lodge. That said it wasn't expensive if I had to pay anyway so def not an issue. The amazing weather brought about so many wasps, never known so many in my whole life but this wasn't just the country club, it was the whole village that seemed to have an issue with them and it was no reflection on the lodge/country club, just what happens in hot weather where there are tons of wasp nests around. We LOVED seeing the raf test flights each day and were lucky to see a Lancaster, spitfires and the red arrows fly past during the 1940s weekend. Don't hestitate to book this place and if you see an awesome deal, grab it as fast as you can!"

"The lodge unfortunately was not as clean as we have come to expect. There were clumps of human hair in the lounge and bedroom. The carpet is very worn in certain areas. It was quite disappointing. This is our 4th year and we are having second thoughts about visiting a 5th time."

"Party of 4 adults. We had a wonderful time at Woodhall Country Park.We were there for a week and the weather helped a lot. We stayed in Lodge 25 (Lancaster Lodge). Minor niggles are:Not enough crockery or cutlery, you cannot have plates and cutlery in the dishwasher and still have plates and cutlery to use .The rubbish bins are a long way from the lodge.The kitchen knives need sharpening.The oven trays have seen better days.Apart from the minor niggles we had a great time and the hot tub was wonderful."

"We had a great stay! The lodges were spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of parking space. The only issue was the fishing pegs, which are a bit tight for our chairs and boxes, but overall, we loved it!"

"The cabin was charming and just right for a couple. We loved the cosy bed and the lovely kitchen. A small gripe - the mattresses could do with an upgrade, as they were a bit springy. The table was a tad wobbly, but overall, great stay!"

"We recently stayed in one of the new Petwood cabins for three nights and honestly, we loved the peaceful setting. Nestled in a wooded spot, its perfect for nature lovers. The surroundings are really pretty and calming. The only downside is that you cant park directly outside the cabin for unloading, which was a bit of a hassle, but the walk from the small car park isnt too bad. The cabins themselves are spotless and smell new-definitely maintained well. We did think the furniture inside could do with a refresh; theres no comfy spot to just sit back and relax. The current table and chairs arent the most comfortable. Outside seating is lovely, though, but since its not fenced off and dogs are allowed, itd be great if there was somewhere to attach their leads while relaxing outside. Overall, a lovely stay with just a couple of small tweaks needed."

"We stayed at the site recently and found it to be pretty clean, with friendly staff who were really helpful. The lodge itself was okay, though we did run into a few minor issues. The main one was that its advertised as having a freezer, but all it has is an ice box in the fridges top compartment, which caused us a bit of hassle since wed done our shopping beforehand. There was also a rather big dirty mark on our bedding, but we just swapped it out for the other beds linen. The backyard area for BBQing is a bit overgrown and the lawnmower couldnt reach the back to tidy it up. The furniture on the front deck was really comfy, though and the Wi-Fi was a nice bonus. Overall, a decent place with some small quirks. Wed stay again!"

"1st visit and won't be our last. Lodge immaculate with lovely big rooms. Lovely to have the covered decking to escape the sun while relaxing in the hot tub. Staff all extremely helpful and always smiling. The whole site is spotless and walking into Woodhall Spa is lovely either by the pavement or though the woods where it was lovely to stop for a cake at Tea in the woods. Plenty walks nearby which was great for our dog."
