"We recently stayed in one of the new Petwood cabins for three nights and honestly, we loved the peaceful setting. Nestled in a wooded spot, its perfect for nature lovers. The surroundings are really pretty and calming. The only downside is that you cant park directly outside the cabin for unloading, which was a bit of a hassle, but the walk from the small car park isnt too bad. The cabins themselves are spotless and smell new-definitely maintained well. We did think the furniture inside could do with a refresh; theres no comfy spot to just sit back and relax. The current table and chairs arent the most comfortable. Outside seating is lovely, though, but since its not fenced off and dogs are allowed, itd be great if there was somewhere to attach their leads while relaxing outside. Overall, a lovely stay with just a couple of small tweaks needed."

"We had a fantastic stay at this lodge! The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfy break. The hot tub was a highlight, especially after our long walks around the area. It was great to see someone checking the hot tub daily - really reassured us. When we arrived, there was a small issue with the heating system, but the staff responded quickly and sorted it out without any fuss. The team there are genuinely friendly and lovely to chat with. We also loved being right by the frozen lake, even if it was a bit chilly! The location in Woodhall Spa is perfect - from here, we caught a bus to Lincoln, drove to the coast and even walked part of the Viking Way to Horncastle, which is a great 12-mile round trip. Were definitely planning to return to Woodhall Country Park - its just such a charming spot!"

"We had an amazing start to 2024 with friends at this lodge. Everything we needed was there and it was spotless and cosy. The hot tub was a real highlight, even on a rainy day - quite refreshing, actually! We loved exploring the nearby village, especially the Italian restaurant which served fantastic food. The areas scenery is stunning and the walks are easy and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure!"

"We stayed at the site recently and found it to be pretty clean, with friendly staff who were really helpful. The lodge itself was okay, though we did run into a few minor issues. The main one was that its advertised as having a freezer, but all it has is an ice box in the fridges top compartment, which caused us a bit of hassle since wed done our shopping beforehand. There was also a rather big dirty mark on our bedding, but we just swapped it out for the other beds linen. The backyard area for BBQing is a bit overgrown and the lawnmower couldnt reach the back to tidy it up. The furniture on the front deck was really comfy, though and the Wi-Fi was a nice bonus. Overall, a decent place with some small quirks. Wed stay again!"

"1st visit and won't be our last. Lodge immaculate with lovely big rooms. Lovely to have the covered decking to escape the sun while relaxing in the hot tub. Staff all extremely helpful and always smiling. The whole site is spotless and walking into Woodhall Spa is lovely either by the pavement or though the woods where it was lovely to stop for a cake at Tea in the woods. Plenty walks nearby which was great for our dog."
