"Fantastic family holiday with our two dogs. Very dog friendly with a huge secure area to let them off for a run. Fishing was excellent, fantastic golf course and even a driving range. Woodies restaurant is on site and good, tasty value. Caravan spacious and clean. The only negative thing I will mention is that Hoseasons states towels are included. They are not. This should be removed from the advert."

"Our Woodthorpe Leisure Park review: We stayed in Oak cottage, it's beautiful, overlooking the lake. It's clean and has everything you need for your stay including a washing machine, Henry hoover, and a clothes drying rack. Rooms are lovely and have plenty of storage space. I'd advise you take an electric bug bat, woodthorpe is smack bang in the countryside, you get flies no matter what accommodation you are in, we're used to country living, you get flies. The only real issue we had was the shower, it doesn't have fantastic pressure and it's in the bath, but we managed. The lady who owns the cottages will pop by just after you've checked in to make sure everything is satisfactory and help you navigate the cottage. She's so lovely and even chats to my teenagers. She leaves tea, coffee and sugar sachets, a pint of milk in the fridge and a welcome treat like cake or biscuits. It's these little extras that brings us back to the cottages. The hot tub at oak cottage is one of the easiest hot tubs we've used so far, it's really warm and has simple controls, it's easy to access and plenty of room for 4 adults. The conservatory was huge with plenty of seats and has a dining table in there as well as the kitchen so you get a choice of where to eat your dinner, we mostly used the conservatory. I'd definitely stay here again. We've also stayed in the cottage next door, chestnut cottage, this has the same amenities as well as the additional sauna room which is brilliant and is located in a separate building and has a couple of showers and toilets so you don't have to trapse into the house. When using the hot tub we'd use this building to get changed and shower off in. You will have a brilliant time at woodthorpe I recommend it to anyone."

"The pod was good very roomie and clean, could not open windows as there was to much flies. We had to leave the blinds closed for the heat as there was fans luckily we had our own one."

"Absolutely recommend the couples retreat. It's was very well fitted out, with everything you need in the hut. The only little issue we did come across was the lack of wardrobe/ unit in the bedroom. There was a small rail, and cupboard above it bit thats all. The bath made up for it though, the separate shower in the bathroom was powerful enough, not one with a little trickle. The sofa and bed were very comfortable also. The hot tub and sauna were the added bonus to the cabin. We really enjoyed using both. Enclosed deck for the dogs, made this perfect for us. We will certainly look at returning."

"Lovely pod!! Great hot tub and sauna. Tub was serviced everyday. The pod has everything you need, including a very gpod oven. The only thing I think could he added is a mirror as there is just the one in the bathroom. Very clean and lovely lovely location."

"Me and my wife had a fantastic relaxing week away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The pod we had was spotless when we arrived and has everything you need for a self catering break. The jacuzzi although small had ample room for the pair of us, the added bonus to these pods was a good size sauna. The site has a great 18 hole golf course that is well manicured and not too taxing for the older guests. The site is spotlessly clean with ample bins for your daily or weekly rubbish. The guests are friendly and we even made friends with lots off residents. The bar is extremely well stocked with known beers as well as some local real ales, the food choice is fantastic and extremely well cooked and presented and the prices are extremely competitive. If I had one negative it would be that the bar doesn't have sky sports and as a football fan that was quite disappointing but hey hey not everyone is into football. Will my wife and I be back????? Absolutely we will."

"Great accommodation that really maximises the limited space. Had everything we needed. Fantastic Hot Tub and outside decking area that features a sheltered table and chairs. Very peaceful surroundings and not overlooked at all."

"We booked this for our mini moon. The lodge was lovely and spacious enough for the two of us plus two dogs, however I think if two other adults have been there with us it would have been cramped. The hot tub was lovely and the surrounding woodland was good for walks with the dogs. It was close to the beach and other attractions which we loved as it meant we could go out exploring in the day and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. The lodges are quite close together which meant it sometimes wasnt as peaceful as wed have liked but thats to be expected. Also I was quite surprised that things such as dish soap and hand soap werent provided. We regularly go away to lodge parks with the dogs and things like hand soap are usually provided. There is a shop on site near to reception which was handy as well as a bar/restaurant. You also have to pay for the WiFi which was disappointing, and you pay per day per device rather than just a one off payment. Overall we did have a lovely stay and the staff were always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this more to families with children rather than couples."

"When we first stepped into the caravan, there was this odd smell, but airing it out sorted it right away. Given its pet-friendly, I guess thats normal. Apart from that, its a spacious and super comfy place, really good value, especially during the busy summer holidays. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely return!"

"Staff and residents where amazing. Helpful and friendly. The Pod we stayed in was the perfect size. It was on the warm side (did go when we hit record temperatures) so had to go out and by a fan. Lots of lovely villages and towns nearby. It Was the perfect way to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary. The on site pub was so friendly and the food was amazing."

Driving range good but the facilities could be improved for example the chairs outside to take a break in have all gone rusty need maintenance and a good luck of paint ! Woodys bar and restaurant good food and friendly service! Location great 14mins from blue flag beach and traditional British seaside entertainment!"

"We had a lovely week ,relaxing in the hot tub ,my husband fishing ,caught plenty of fish.The only downside is the shop on site doesnt stock a lot of choice ,as we didnt drive we had to make do with what we took."

"We stayed at Woodthorpe in Woodland 3 Log Cabin for 7 days from July 1st to 8th. This is a fantastic locations with Beautiful Surroundings. There are some Woodland Walks on site, a 18 Hole Golfcourse which is reasonably priced if you like Golf, also a Driving Range. There is Woodys Restarunt on site, also just out side the Woodthorpe Garden Centre which is also great and does foods. It is very Central to a lot of places, i.e Mablethorpe, Skegness etc. The log cabin itself is fantastic, very very Clean, it looked like brand new, lovely seating are attached and a lovely Hot Tub, we could not find a fault with the log Cabin itself and the site in gerneral, so would highly reccomend a stay here. it is very peacfull and tranquil, with lots of different Wildlife tottering about, i.e Squirels, Bunny's and various Birds, we even had a Robin Land on the table as we were eating he/she stayed on the table for at least a couple of min. The only Downside is the Internet Connection is very poor for the price you pay."
