Deena - Jun 2022
"Excellent place , we all had a lovely stay and it was nice and quiet a+++"
Adam - Jun 2022
"Only downfall is not easy to get to the village on foot as busy road and not safe for people with mobility issuses!lodge was beautiful and comfatble , hot tub was amazing!lovley scenery and very relaxing!would deffinatly book again"
Rachael - May 2022
"Absolutely stunning....the sites surroundings ...the caravan ...all of it ...Great!!! wi-fi and 32" TV was a bonus.....A little bit pricey for 4 nights . but you get what you pay for I suppose ... Perfect few days break!!!! Would prefer to book direct with the site....but don't think that is possible ....but will definitely return !"
Lindy - Apr 2022
"Lovely short break away! Only downside was the heating being on timer and we had a day in the lodge (stayed in November) so it was rather cold. Had an issue with the boiler but rang the number given and had a gentleman come out straight away pretty much. Overall the stay was lovely and we would come back"
Naomi - Nov 2021
"I had a absolutely lovely time staying at Home Farm Park in a lodge with a Laskeside View, The lodge was absolutely beautiful and so clean, the beds were very comfortable and just overall so homely and cozy. Would 100% visit again it is so worth the money. There are local shops and Skegness is only a 10 minute drive which was a great day trip out. Very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend!"
Alicia - Nov 2021
"Very enjoyable short break. No hassle with the booking process. Location was just what we needed at the time of the season."
Valerie - Jan 1970
"very clean and modern accommodation."
Tracey - Jan 1970
"The site was lovely and peaceful but we felt was missing a restaurant or onsite pub and could see work taking place which in time might eventually have onsite facilities such as that. Location was brilliant only a short journey to attractions and if your looking for a peaceful vacation this is a really good location."
Stephen - Jan 1970
"Stayed here for a weekend 12th November, lovely accommodation, very quiet and relaxing, already looking to come back but for longer! Partner did the fishing and enjoyed this! All round lovely place and trip!"
Sian - Jan 1970
"Fantastic lodge, and the hot tub was amazing. Only wish we could have stayed longer"
Sarah - Jan 1970
"A lovely spacious lodge. Some extra crockery would be beneficial to save on constant washing up. "
Sarah - Jan 1970
"Stunning lodge in a tranquil location. Perfect place to relax within an easy drive to amenities."
Sandra - Jan 1970
"On arrival we had to wait nearly an hour to gain entry to our accommodation past the check in time. On enquiry we were told they were behind but apologetic. When finally we gained access to our accommodation we were very happy it was so clean, unbelievably clean. After inspection (as you do) we noticed the microwave was broken. We phoned the office as most of our cooking would need a microwave. The nice lady who answered was very helpful and promised there would be a replacement first thing in the morning. An hour later to our surprise a lovely young girl arrived with a replacement microwave which I think she carried all the way from the office! Because of this I have given an overall score of ten rather than nine as what she did went beyond expectation. Overall a beautiful, serene, quiet park. Will definitely go on my 'back to list'"
Peter - Jan 1970
"We had a lovely time at the Home Farm Park and have already reccomend to others, the location was easy to find and not far from petrol stations, supermarkets or days out.

The lodge was lovely however the pictures were misleading. The pictures showed a soundbar and very large TV, when we arrived there was no soundbar, the TV wasn't as large as the pictures shown and wasn't on the wall. Instead there were lots of unhidden wires.

One of our towels had a red stain on, it looked like a lipstick mark.

The dinner table hasn't been cleaned and had previous dinner crust on it.

Our dishwasher leaked.

Our hot tub had dirt at the bottom of it and felt greasy (raised on the day we arrived). We called reception in which they needed to drive back to work, I told them it's not an issue and to come and check it out tomorrow when they come back to work (we called them around 5:30pm)

When they arrived they were rather rude and passive aggressive towards us. They told us that it was sand at the bottom of the hot tub and there's nothing they can do to stop it from coming back.

We were told someone comes round daily to check the tubs, we didn't see anyone other than our departure day.

We would have called reception in regards to the other issues we had during the holiday but didn't want to hassle them and be spoken to like children again.

Other than a few negatives, we throughly enjoyed ourselves and would return again."
Natalie - Jan 1970

Naomi - Jan 1970
"Fantastic place to go the only thing it could do better is try clean up after the geese cause they leave a mess all over the grass and decking not nice to walk on"
Mark - Jan 1970
"Amazing . Was perfect for what we needed."
Luke - Jan 1970
"Had lovely time here and already booked to return next year"
Linda - Jan 1970
"We had a lovely peaceful break. Beautiful clean place and the accommodation couldnt be faulted. Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you"
Kel - Jan 1970
"Great, quiet place to stay. The only thing I'd say is that the evening lighting is non existent outside and it's quite dangerous but other than that it was very comfortable and had a home from home feel. Location was good too, only a 8 minute drive to skegness. Would stay again."
Karen - Jan 1970
"We would most definitely stay again. All mod cons, and everything catered for, you just need your food and personal belongings. It looks like they are building more pitches, as it is, at the moment, there was a beautiful view across the water, unsure how that will change. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Loved connecting my phone to the Bluetooth speakers in the ceiling and the fireplace made for a cozy evening. Very spacious and new. Hot tub was fab, we took our own fairy lights to hang around the area. There were bath robes provided too. Bedroom area well insulated and warm."
Jennie - Jan 1970
"Great lodge to stay in with easy access to local village. Hottub was regularly checked accomadation clean. Check in very easy with code for barrier and instructions for lodge sent on day of check in. Very happy with our stay here with Skegness within a short drive."
Jason - Jan 1970
"Lodge and hot tub were stunning along with lake views what more could we ask for. A fantastic break we will be back."
Heather - Jan 1970
"Lovely couldn't wish for better. Only thing was they were building other caravans to go up while we were there"
Elizabeth - Jan 1970
"Lovely and relaxing holiday"
Dianne - Jan 1970
"Peaceful stay on site with fishing lakes. Good food in village pubs. Taxi into village was £5."
Deborah - Jan 1970
"Fantastic lodge. Everything you will ever need for a relaxing stay.."
Darren - Jan 1970
"Fantastic weekend away with friends. The owners had decorated with balloons as requested and went to extra mile. Accommodation was excellent and plenty of amenities. Will look to stay again in the future."
Daniel - Jan 1970
"Gorgeous cabin. The most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in and the hot tub was the absolute highlight! Very comfortable and clean."
Danielle - Jan 1970
"Beautiful relaxing holiday would definitely book again just hope not too many lodges are added to the site. Lodges are spotless and sitting in the hottub looking at the lake felt like heaven. We needed a good relaxing holiday after a very stressful time and that's exactly what we got!"
Colin - Jan 1970
"Loved it because we couldn't go anywhere reason been wasn't anything on site so this ment we got a very lot of use out of the jecuzzie and very private"
Amanda - Jan 1970
"Bluebell lodge was lovely. Nice and spacious. Clean and tidy on arrival. Hot tub was amazing!! Beds were so comfortable and overall just the most amazing time away"
Amanda - Jan 1970
"Really well equipped house, lovely and warm too which was so nice on a rainy December day! Bath was just lovely and a nice big shower! The property is under a flight path - this did not disturb us at all! Dont be put off! A great location for dogs who hate fireworks as it's in the middle of nowhere. Really beautiful, well converted property. Thank Read moreyou! Hide"
Phoebe - Mar 2024
"Beautiful cottage with hot tub and log burner. lovely hosts, peaceful, perfect for our mini break. Hope to return for longer soon!"
Emma - Mar 2024
"Brilliant & cosy cottage far enough out the way to be secluded but close enough to local amenities. Amazing hotub & bathroom with underfloor heating throughout tops it off. The owners, Rob & Sharon are wonderful! (And of course Bonnie) Will definitely be coming back again for longer ASAP!!"

Attractions Near Home Farm Park Lakeside Retreat

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Home Farm Park Lakeside Retreat. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 4 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 17 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 27 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 28 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 34 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 35 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
