"Everything thing was 10/10. The lodge is very clean annd sparkling.Family of 5 anbd there was excess storage spaces to keep things . Fab!The location of the lodge was a 10/10 as it overlooks the trees giving it privacy and free from traffic from cars and pedestrian walking. The kids enjoyed the hottub which was big and accommodated them and was checked every day by the maintenance guy. The bubbling part was 10/10 for them Infact will rate it 5Stars Unfortunately the mattress in the 2nd bedroom or main bedroom wasnt comfy atall. Gave me body aches for the 1st 2 nights and had to sleep in the kids room for the rest of the 5nights."

"We stayed at Pine 12 (no lake view): 2 adults and 4 children aged 10-20yrs. Lodge was clean and functional with what looked to be a new kitchen. However for the 6 of us it was a tight squeeze - the twin rooms for the kids were the smallest we have experienced after staying in numerous lodges and the lounge dining was not ideal as only 4 seater table with 2 stools at breakfast bar so we could not have a meal sat together. Also the lounge seating was insufficient with a 2 seater sofa and an armchair and a footstool that changed into a very small coffee table. Was disappointed as with kids of an older age we go for these getaways to have some time together, play board games, cards etc and try get some gadget free time, this time round it was not possible as kids could not lounge anywhere and not proper space/table to play. Also only one shower which was again a struggle for 6, the en-suite was only a sink/toilet. Hot tub was good but again on the small side, normally get in together but this was really for 4. No welcome pack or robes or smaller towels and the towels were washed but stained. Have stayed at this site before at the foxglove lodge which was perfect for 6 (so not sure why this was priced the same as it was definitely not of the same standard- missed out on booking the foxglove as it was last minute but both were priced the same when I checked). They have expanded with the number of lodges increased and increasing. Please note there is an electric charger point (only one) in the car park which was mostly occupied by site van."

"As already stated lacking in decor and was quite basic inside. Cleaning needs more attention. Plenty of space for 3 teenagers and 2 adults. Hor tub very good."

"Our Home Farm Park Lakeside Retreat review: Everything you need and very clean. I would recommend taking a fan as it can get warm inside. Outdoor area not all that private if your neighbours are out, However nobody can see you when you're in the hot tub :)"

"Nothing to do on site. Very quiet. ???? k if your a fisherman."

"Absolutely disgusting stay with these. Please avoid at all costs. Ignoring our emails now after sending proof of how bad the state of the lodge was. Half eaten hamburger on the floor which was mouldy and my 1 year old daughter put near her mouth luckily I caught it just in time. Hot tub was a state, dirt everywhere- broken cutlery, smashed glasses and used pots and pans with food on."

"We had an amazing weekend here! The place was just what we needed and were already planning to return. Our dogs absolutely adored the underfloor heating and playing in the garden - Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it! Honestly, happy pups, happy us. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cosy getaway with their furry friends!"

"We really enjoyed it because there wasnt much else happening on site, so we got plenty of use out of the jacuzzi. It felt quite private, which was lovely!"

"We had a lovely stay. The lodge showed some signs of wear, but it was cosy overall. Adding placemats or coasters would make it even better."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless and roomy and the location is perfect. The staff at reception were friendly and eager to help. Just a small thing-some hooks in the bathroom would be handy."

"We recently stayed in Pine 12 and honestly, it was just what we needed - a peaceful escape with a lovely view of the lake. The hot tub was a real highlight and we enjoyed some on-site fishing which was quite relaxing. The accommodation itself was quite nice, although its more like a top-tier caravan rather than a lodge, but still very comfortable. The site was spotless and well-kept, which we appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed, though a few small things were missing, like toiletries in the bathroom - no hand soap or even door mats, especially by the patio door. Bath towels were a bit small and the bath sheets werent the usual large ones were used to with Hoseasons. We stayed for a week and there was no hoover, just a soft brush, which made cleaning the carpets a bit tricky. Dining outside was a bit of a miss since theres only a tiny coffee table on the patio, so alfresco meals arent really an option. Theres no TV in the bathroom, but the power and aerial points are there if you want to set one up. The external light near the hot tub wasnt working, which made the evenings pretty dark - we let staff know but it was still out when we left. We did have a small issue with the TV at first, as the aerial in the wardrobe in the main bedroom came loose. The bath robes were a bonus, but wed prefer them all to be bigger, maybe extra large. Despite these little niggles, we had an amazing time and wed definitely recommend the lakeside restaurant just a few minutes away - definitely worth a visit!"

"We stayed in Pine 12. It was just what was needed, peace and quiet, hot tub, on site fishing and accommodation overlooking the lake. Accommodation was nice although not a lodge but a top of the range caravan. The site was well maintained and clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The only things missing were, toiletries in the bathroom, not even any handsoap, door mats, especially by the patio door, bath towels very small and not the big bat sheets you usually get with hoseasons, we were there for a week and there was no hoover only a soft brush which isn't the best to clean the carpet, you can't actually dine alfresco as there is just a coffee table on the patio. There are no tv's in the bathroom although there is a power and aerial point. The external light by the hot tub didn't work so we made the staff aware as it was really dark in the evening, still not sorted when we left. We had an issue with the TV the first night, seems the aerial came loose which is located in the wardrobe in the main bedroom. Bath robes were a bonus but on the snug side it would be better if they were all xlarge as big is better. Overall though we had the best time and would definitely recommend the lakeside restaurant just a few minutes away"

"We loved staying at this cosy little cottage! Its perfectly secluded but still near local shops and cafes, which was great. The hot tub was fantastic after a day out and the underfloor heating kept us super comfy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to return!"

"We had such a lovely stay at this charming cottage! Its surprisingly well-equipped, so we didnt need to bring much at all. The welcome pack was really handy, with all the info and menus laid out clearly - its obvious the owners put a lot of thought into it. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just perfect for unwinding after a day out. Sharon and Rob were quick to respond if we had any questions. Thanks for a wonderful break - well definitely be back!"

"We had such a lovely break here! The lodges were spotless and chilling in the hot tub with the lake view was just perfect. Its exactly what we needed after a hectic time. Only thing, we hope they dont add too many lodges - it might spoil the peaceful vibe a bit."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was so calm and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The only thing we missed was having a restaurant or pub on-site, but we could see theyre working on it, so hopefully itll be great in the future. Locations spot on, just a short drive to all the attractions. Would recommend!"

"We stayed over Christmas at the lodge and honestly, it was quite lovely. The staff were super friendly and really helpful throughout our stay. The donkeys stole the show - they were absolutely adorable! The only real downside was the cleanliness; the TV unit was dusty and under the sofa was pretty grimy. The rug also needed a good hoovering because of all the dog hair, which was expected since its a dog-friendly place. We also found some clothes left behind in one of the wardrobes and theres no door curtain at the main entrance, so its quite visible from the road. We hung a blanket up on the hooks to fix that, but it didnt look the best. Still, overall, we had a lovely time!"

"Lovely short break away!
Only downside was the heating being on timer and we had a day in the lodge (stayed in November) so it was rather cold. Had an issue with the boiler but rang the number given and had a gentleman come out straight away pretty much.
Overall the stay was lovely and we would come back"

"I had a absolutely lovely time staying at Home Farm Park in a lodge with a Laskeside View, The lodge was absolutely beautiful and so clean, the beds were very comfortable and just overall so homely and cozy. Would 100% visit again it is so worth the money. There are local shops and Skegness is only a 10 minute drive which was a great day trip out. Very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend!"
