About Home Farm Park Luxury Barns

History is combined with modern touches at Home Farm Park Luxury Barns, where guests have the opportunity to stay in gorgeous, restored period barn conversions within the stunning Lincolnshire countryside.

Whether you'd prefer to relax in your lovely accommodation to admire the lake side views, or venture out to nearby Skegness, Ingoldmells or Mablethorpe, Home Farm Park luxury barns is ideal for anyone looking for a Lincolnshire countryside escape.

Keen fishermen and women will also love the access to on-site fishing being available (at an extra cost). But if that’s not your cup of tea sandy beaches are only a short walk away!

Whether you're fishing or relaxing by the sea, you’ll need a place to call home for a short while. This is where Home Farm Park Luxury Barns comes in. With many accommodation types featuring private hot tubs, it's no wonder that 'luxury' is in the name!

For those on a romantic retreat, or simply travelling with a small young family, the Meal House is a fantastic option, sleeping two guests in a king-size bedroom. There’s plenty of space to relax outside with a glass of bubbly in the hot tub or on the private patio area furniture. There's underfloor heating and an authentic log burner - enough to keep you warm even in the colder months!

The Farmhouse is one of the larger property options, sleeping up to six people. The three bedrooms include a king-size master bedroom with en suite bathroom, one with two twin beds, and another king-size bed.  There is ample living space in the open plan kitchen/diner and living area, complete with TV.

Don't forget to dive into the welcome pack before relaxing in the private hot tub and putting your head down for the night before a day’s adventure in Lincolnshire!

For something to keep the whole family entertained, Nature-land Seal Sanctuary is a great option.  Follow the steps of rehabilitation for these pups rescued from Wong the Lincolnshire coast - but don't forget to say hero to the tropical butterflies, penguins, meerkats, and seals too! Stop off at the Blue Lagoon restaurant to refuel before heading back to Home Farm Park.  It's a fantastic, educational spot to spend the day as a family together and only a fifteen-minute drive from Burgh le Marsh.

Anyone fancying themselves a historian or gardener, or couples simply looking for beautiful outdoor walks, will want to visit Gunby hall. This 18th century country house is surrounded by Victorian walled gardens and was home to the Massingberd family for more than two hundred and fifty years! Whether you want to be inspired by the eight acres of gardens on show at Gunby, explore the country house and its history, or simply stop all at the tea-room for a slice of cake, it's a lovely way to enjoy Lincoln’s history - whatever the weather.

Thrill seeking families and couples – or anyone young at heart! – should head to Fantasy Island, where there’s plenty of rides and activities to keep everyone entertained.   For those who prefer to keep their adventure at ground level, there’s Ingoldmells market – Europe’s largest seven-day market – perfect for wandering around and picking up some souvenirs to take home!

Home Farm Park Luxury Barns Reviews

honestly cannot fault the place. there was a broken tin can opener but we took it to reception and immediately for given a new one. absolutely beautiful bedrooms and a spacious living area
Julia - Feb 2024
Lovely, well maintained accommodation on a very peaceful site, close to Skegness. The accommodation is beautifully finished and very well presented. The only suggestion we have is to include some hooks outside for towels near the hot tub, a door matt for wet shoes by the front door and the code for the barrier entry needs to be printed in the book you are given on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to come back!
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
Absolutely fantastic break with friends. Only recommendation would be some plastic glasses for use in the hottub.
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
Lovely location, amazing accommodation and really friendly staff. The hottub was inspected/ tested daily and the accommodation had a great inventory. Huge rooms, immaculately decorated to a high standard, we loved the open planed layout, and the pool table was a hit with everyone. It was a great space for 2 families to see the new year in.We will, without a doubt be returning.
Stuart - Jan 2024
The Meal House is decorated to a high standard and very clean. The log burner and hot tub was great and also had use of the sauna in the courtyard.
Steve Keen - Jan 2024
Loved it, accommodation done to a very high standard, was greeted by the ducks every morning which was lovely to see, we enjoyed our 3 night stay so much that on our arrival home we booked straight away to return in June
Shaun - Jan 2024
Amazing holiday home!
Sarah - Jan 2024
A lovely new year stay at the Meal House at Home Farm. The site was stunning, lovely and clean with on site shop with friendly staff selling the essentials. It is also a short walk from the village of Burgh Le Marsh with plenty of pubs , shops and places to eat. Only disappointment was that the canopy over the hot tub didnt work, so if the weather was bad we couldnt use the tub and sometimes it struggled to get up to temperature, but other than that it was a perfect relaxing break, would recommend and visit again
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
We went away as a group of 6 women. We had an amazing weekend. Plenty of relaxing, hot tubbing and fun. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and had the added bonus of a pool table. We had a nice walk into the village which was close by and had a few shops and pubs. Skegness was also only 10 minutes up the road. We would highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you.
Helen - Jan 2024
We booked Sage cottage for a big birthday celebration with the family. Upon arrival we were shown to the property and all expectations were exceeded. There is so much space in both the living area and bedrooms and the facilities including pool table and hot tub were greatly appreciated. We have come away with happy memories of a great extended weekend made all the better by the great accomodation. We also had use of the sauna which was an added bonus.
Dean - Jan 2024
Parsley is a lovely cottage and on a nice quiet site. On first looks the cottage is amazing, and is so beautifully set out and decorated, just a few small things let it down. There is a sauna on site that can be booked out at reception which is a great unexpected extra as well as a wood store for you to collect logs for the wood burner, which a lot of places Ive been charge extra for. The hot tub was perfect, and the cottage was always lovely and warm, with ample room for guests to be comfortable. The only little things that let it down were no hooks, or hooks were broken in bathrooms, few other broken bits that hadnt been repaired. The downstairs bedroom said a king size and it was only a double bed. There was no dish cloth to wash the pots, TV remote ran out of batteries, and the lighting even where there are dressing tables is so dim you had to get ready in a bathroom and do your hair in the dark. There is also no where to store your clothes other than hangers so spent the week living out of a suitcase, and with a baby that isnt ideal. Parking also isnt situated outside the cottage and is a small walk, which when you have a lot of things is a pain. A few other bits such as not enough wine glasses for everyone etc but overall would book again and just be wary of the above. It didnt massively impact the holiday, its just things I would expect having visited other accommodation similar. Also staff were very friendly and helpful.
Charlotte - Jan 2024
We had the most incredible time at the Meal House. The log burner was beautiful and got us into the festive spirt. We loved helping ourselves to the logs in the log shed in the courtyard which was a nice touch. Id definitely recommend it, its so worth it and youll have an amazing time!
Maisie - Dec 2023
Excellent stay in Parsley. What a beautiful lodge. Very friendly staff , who were extremely helpful.Enjoyed precious time together in a beautiful environment. A couple of suggestions would be to have some plastic wine and tumble glasses for use in the hot tub and for children, we always take our own to save any breakages but not everyone would think to do that. More cutlery and crockery, there was only enough for 10 which meant having to wash straight away, extra is better and some where to hang coats in the hall would be great. Also its always nice to have a selection of games to play but that would always be an added benefit. All in all an excellent stay and would highly recommend. Thank you

Wonderful weekend away. Stunning property. Beds comfy and facilities in the home modern.
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Pros-Beautiful location-Spacious property-Finished to a high standard-Clean-Pool table-Hot Tub-Robes included for the hot tub were a nice touchCons-Accommodation sleeps 6 however there arent enough wine glasses for 6 people.-Mattresses in the twin room could do with being replaced, you can feel & hear the springs when moving.-Hob in the kitchen is temperamental. -There werent any cleaning products i.e. washing up liquid, sponge (This was rectified eventually, however the first attempt to rectify we were given a single used sponge, we had to call the site manager again before they returned with a clean set of sponges and washing up liquid).-Welcome pack was a fruit loaf, personally based on previous experiences I wouldnt advertise this as a welcome pack.-The jar left for matches to light the fire was empty so we were unable to light the fire.-Communication in terms of check in was poor, I had to call the property prior to arrival to be given instructions in relation to key collection.Overall I would still recommend and I would definitely return, it was the finer details that let the property down such as lack of cleaning materials, advertising a welcome pack, arrival instructions etc.
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Overall, the lodge itself was really nice. Few little furnishings that needed improvement but i understand that in a holiday home youre going to get that. The first night we didnt have heating & the second we called the out of hours number as we didnt have any brochures or any idea how to turn the heating on. They answered the first call and said theyd call us back on how to sort it. After an hour, we still hadnt had a call so I called back, no answer. 13 calls that night and still no answer. We had a 3 year old with us so was not ideal as the lodge was freezing. The following morning called again, finally answered. And they told us to go out OURSELVES and find a groundsman. We couldnt find anyone so went to the front desk and then a lady came round to sort it. Then to find out we wouldnt have been able to turn the heating on as they have a tamperproof heating system as the owner didnt want to waste money on heating. On the second night we started smelling waste in all the bathrooms which wasnt pleasant but that was sorted by leaving the showers on for 5+ minutes as thats where it was coming from.
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
great spacious lodge added bonus of downstairs bedroom for elderly parents
Susan - Nov 2023
We loved our stay. We stayed in the farm house. Plenty of space, very clean, hot tub was warm and clean. The pool table in the house was a nice surprise, as was the sauna which can be booked for an hour. Friendly, helpful staff. The kids loved feeding the donkeys and the place looked great for fishing, lots of fish being caught whilst we were exploring the small yet lovely, well kept park. The only thing I would say that was negative is the kitchen equipment ( utensils and pans) could do with updating, I struggled a bit but made it work. I would recommend this place.
Gemma - Nov 2023
We arrived at the lodge, Mint, friday evening. The lodge is beautiful and spacious. There were lovely touches, eg. Robes for the hot tub. The bedrooms were large and spacious. Small cake and milk upon arrival. However there were a few negatives that could be addressed. One of my family members was locked in the downstairs toilet for 15 mins till we could get them out (i also read a previous review that this had happened before) The staff member said they would get this seen too the following morning, this never happened so all weekend we couldn't shut the downstairs toilet door. The hot tub wasn't warm enough until 11pm that evening, presumably wasn't turned on in time to warm up. There was no were to hang your clothes, there was a rail in the main bedroom but no coat hangers, or there was no draw space to put anything in, so lived out the suitcase for four days. There was also no condiments at all, so if you do stay here take everything, e.g salt and pepper, oil, foil, kitchen roll. There was a coffee pot but no pods to use. There was only 3 dishwasher tablets supplied, and for a family of 8 staying four days this certainly wasn't enough. I hope this doesn't put you off because it is certainly a lovely lodge.
Elizabeth - Nov 2023
Lovely spacious accommodation with big bedrooms all with ensuite walk in showers. Nice and clean with all the extras you need for a great stay. A couple of niggles that are probably personal to me but I think would make a big difference. There needs to be a shelf in the shower to put toiletries on and a towel hook closer to the shower. The outdoor furniture needs changing as it has cushions on which are left outside in all weather's so where green and absolutely sodden. Would definitely return.
Dawn - Nov 2023
absolutely amazing stay, customer service was amazing as well, would 100% recommend for anyone.
Verified Guest - Oct 2023
A great base to go out and about.
Alison - Mar 2023
Absolutely stunning place only down full was didn't like the staff coming in the garden with out knocking or asking knowing my children were in there half clothed as just got out of hit tub and the mattresses could do with being replaced as they dip in the middle apart from that fabulous place and location
Hollie - Aug 2022
The most stunning accommodation in a great location. Really clean, tidy and homely and the hot tub was the best we’d ever used! Love the fact it was checked every day. I’d highly recommend staying here and in the other accommodations on the farm.
Sophie - Jul 2022
Fantastic stay here and hope to return soon. 8 of us staying and plenty of space for all. One thing that let's it down only mirrors are located in the bathrooms. A mirror in the bedrooms would make getting ready and drying hair so much easier.
Marion - Jul 2022
The barns were perfect for a family holiday. The pool table and hot tub kept our teenagers entertained. The bedrooms were lovely and everyone having their own en suite made life easier for getting out and about in the mornings. The hot tub being on a private first floor balcony was also perfect and the view was great. Would highly recommend
Lisa - Jul 2022
On arrival the check in process was easy, plenty of parking and easily found. The park was quiet and fishing was good. The barn itself was spacious and the pool table was a good addition. The downsides you could hear alot of noise from next door and due to this one of the party slept downstairs on the sofa. Although the barn was clean the extractor fan above the hob was covered in bugs in fact was black with bugs and needed to be cleaned and the hot tub was absolutely filthy and we felt that it had not been emptied and there wasn't chlorine in it on the first night but clean on the second day. With reference to the hot tub yes it was checked most days however due to its position ie only could be checked by access through the property it felt that you were being imposed on. The property does need a bit of tlc and would benefit from some drawers to put your clothes in and clothes hooks in bathroom. I would recommend the park however I would choose one of the other properties for example the farm house without close neighbours.
Kat - Jul 2022
Meal house is absolutely stunning very well maintained. Very close to all amenities we will definitely be going back later in the year
Gemma - Jul 2022
Home Farm Park is far enough away from the noise but close enough if you want to be in the crowds. Ingoldmells and Skegness only short drives away. We had a fantastic stay! Sage Cottage was more equipped than we had imagined, having everything we could possibly have needed for a week away. Entry to the park and cottage was straight forward and all details given in enough time. The cottage was spotless on arrival. The hot tub was perfect and checked on every day, even if we weren't in. Having the pool table was a real treat, keeping us entertained for hours! The staff were quick to deal with any issues, and always polite and friendly, even providing additional towels we requested towards the end of the week. They advised additional facilities including a small shop and reception type area are currently being built, and more lodges are to be added, which we look forward to. We have already booked Sage Cottage for next year!
Emily - Jul 2022
Beautiful setting the barn was perfect I would highly recommend if you are looking for peace and tranquillity.
Alan - Jul 2022
We had a fabulous time, when we arrived the place was beautifully laid out and cleaned. The hot tub was hot and ready to use. The addition of tea, coffee, milk and the plum bread with butter was a lovely touch. The only things we would recommend would be additional hangers in the bedroom as there was not enough for both of us so we ended up living out of suitcases for the week. And more fire wood as we had to purchase some after the first night and were advised there was no where on site we could grab anymore. The sofa was comfy but you couldn’t put your feet up anywhere and cuddle in, in front of the fire. Netflix was a great touch, as was the automatic windows and blinds. Overall, we had a great stay and are looking to book again later in the year :) thank you!!
Hollie - Jun 2022
Absolutely amazing could not find fault ! Can’t wait to rebook !
Donna - Jun 2022
We originally booked The Meal House, but were upgraded to Sage Cottage before we arrived. The cottage and site are beautiful. Our favourite feature was the private balcony hottub overlooking the lake, with sunset views!
3 well presented ensuite bedrooms (with VERY comfy beds and blackout curtains), and an open plan living, kitchen and dining area.
The listing said pool table which wasn't there, but there's certainly space for it!
Smart TVs in all rooms, and a bluetooth speaker downstairs, nice touch!
It was missing pasta/cereal bowls (we ate out of some baking tins one night) and some proper glasses. But overall absolutely fantastic and would reccomend to anyone!
There is a coop a 3 minute drive away, and skegness is only 10 minutes.
Only downside is you can hear the people in the adjoining cottages - but wasn't too bad during our stay.

Enjoyed our stay, just a few little details which are, bedroom didnt have a window, one of the single beds wasnt comfy, the bedroom with no windows we rolled to the middle, no hooks in the bathrooms to hang towels, outside seating was wet so anyone who wasnt using the hot tub couldnt sit outside, the hob was difficult to use , think the sofa needs to be like a letter u, hope this helps,
we enjoyed our stay so much that weve booked for next year.
Thanks

We will definitely be revisiting The Meal House. It is a beautiful cottage, great layout. The hot tub is large, which is great.
I can honestly say our week was so lovely and relaxing whilst staying at The Meal House.
Staff can be contacted on the telephone and answer any questions. The hot tub is checked everyday for ph and chlorine levels.
It was lovely sitting outside at night and seeing hares, foxes and bats; beautiful and quiet.
Cannot wait to be go back.
Short drive to supermarkets. The village is lovely, great selection of pubs and restaurants.

Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 4 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 17 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 27 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 28 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 34 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 35 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
