About Home Farm Park Luxury Barns

History is combined with modern touches at Home Farm Park Luxury Barns, where guests have the opportunity to stay in gorgeous, restored period barn conversions within the stunning Lincolnshire countryside.

Whether you'd prefer to relax in your lovely accommodation to admire the lake side views, or venture out to nearby Skegness, Ingoldmells or Mablethorpe, Home Farm Park luxury barns is ideal for anyone looking for a Lincolnshire countryside escape.

Keen fishermen and women will also love the access to on-site fishing being available (at an extra cost). But if that’s not your cup of tea sandy beaches are only a short walk away!

Whether you're fishing or relaxing by the sea, you’ll need a place to call home for a short while. This is where Home Farm Park Luxury Barns comes in. With many accommodation types featuring private hot tubs, it's no wonder that 'luxury' is in the name!

For those on a romantic retreat, or simply travelling with a small young family, the Meal House is a fantastic option, sleeping two guests in a king-size bedroom. There’s plenty of space to relax outside with a glass of bubbly in the hot tub or on the private patio area furniture. There's underfloor heating and an authentic log burner - enough to keep you warm even in the colder months!

The Farmhouse is one of the larger property options, sleeping up to six people. The three bedrooms include a king-size master bedroom with en suite bathroom, one with two twin beds, and another king-size bed.  There is ample living space in the open plan kitchen/diner and living area, complete with TV.

Don't forget to dive into the welcome pack before relaxing in the private hot tub and putting your head down for the night before a day’s adventure in Lincolnshire!

For something to keep the whole family entertained, Nature-land Seal Sanctuary is a great option.  Follow the steps of rehabilitation for these pups rescued from Wong the Lincolnshire coast - but don't forget to say hero to the tropical butterflies, penguins, meerkats, and seals too! Stop off at the Blue Lagoon restaurant to refuel before heading back to Home Farm Park.  It's a fantastic, educational spot to spend the day as a family together and only a fifteen-minute drive from Burgh le Marsh.

Anyone fancying themselves a historian or gardener, or couples simply looking for beautiful outdoor walks, will want to visit Gunby hall. This 18th century country house is surrounded by Victorian walled gardens and was home to the Massingberd family for more than two hundred and fifty years! Whether you want to be inspired by the eight acres of gardens on show at Gunby, explore the country house and its history, or simply stop all at the tea-room for a slice of cake, it's a lovely way to enjoy Lincoln’s history - whatever the weather.

Thrill seeking families and couples – or anyone young at heart! – should head to Fantasy Island, where there’s plenty of rides and activities to keep everyone entertained.   For those who prefer to keep their adventure at ground level, there’s Ingoldmells market – Europe’s largest seven-day market – perfect for wandering around and picking up some souvenirs to take home!

Home Farm Park Luxury Barns Reviews

"We absolutely loved the Meal House! Perfect for a cosy getaway, super stylish and comfy. Everything was spotless and well-stocked. The hot tub was a lovely surprise. A peaceful, relaxing week well remember!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"Not what we expected, quite unsettling experience"
James - Mar 2025

"Could be more comfy"
Emma - Mar 2025
"Our Home Farm Park Luxury Barns review: Weve just come back from our second visit and already booked for next February! The place is perfect for winter family get-togethers. The big living area, pool table and hot tub mean we get plenty of fun indoors, especially when its chilly outside. The bedrooms and en-suites are spacious and give everyone a bit of privacy, which is really nice. The only tiny issues we noticed were a bit of a lack of storage in the bedrooms, no hooks in the bathroom and a limited selection of glasses. Honestly, these are small things that would make a big difference-like unpacking our bags and hanging towels instead of draping them over doors. Its such a minor thing, but it really would improve the stay. Thanks for another lovely break! Fingers crossed we can finally unpack properly next time!"
Alex - Feb 2025
"We really loved the house and the decor is stunning. Just a few things: the glass table tops are a bit risky with kids around, as they could be pushed off easily. Also, more plates would help and the absence of a colander for veg or pasta was a bit annoying. The bottle opener was broken, too. No plastic cups for the hot tub either, only glass-wouldve been safer. But overall, a lovely stay!"
Emma - Feb 2025
"We had a fantastic stay at The Meal House! The place was spotless and surprisingly roomy for just the two of us. Its decorated beautifully, with every little detail carefully considered - from dishwasher tablets to coffee pods and milk, which was a lovely touch since we usually bring our own. The hot tub was pristine and private, with stunning views and clear night skies that really made the trip special. Definitely somewhere wed return to!"
Emily - Jan 2025
"The photos on the website are totally outdated, so its pretty misleading. We expected a cosy farmhouse with a big lounge for Christmas, but instead, most of the space was taken up by a pool table. Quite disappointing really, especially when planning family gatherings."
Emma Carter - Dec 2024
"We had a lovely weekend with family over Christmas. The house was stunning, beautifully furnished and the hot tub was a real highlight. The only hiccup was the heating upstairs - we couldnt get it to warm the bedrooms properly. Still, weve been coming here for five years and love it!"
Emma - Dec 2024
"We absolutely loved our stay! The house was stunning and the facilities were top-notch."
Emma - Dec 2024
"Lovely holiday home. Will definitely be revisiting ????"
Lisa - Nov 2024
"We recently stayed at this beautiful place and honestly, we loved it! The property is stunning and super peaceful, just what we needed. The kitchen was lovely and the welcome pack was a nice touch. We did notice a few little things that could be improved - like theres nowhere really to hang clothes apart from a few hangers and no hooks in the bathrooms, which was a bit of a pain. The underfloor heating didnt quite do the job drying our clothes, but thankfully the log burner and a clothes horse from downstairs saved us. The staff on site are such friendly people, really went out of their way to help. The donkeys are adorable! We had a great time and cant wait to come back and try the other properties."
Emma & Jake - Nov 2024
"We had such a lovely time at this place! The photos honestly dont do it justice - its so much cleaner and more beautifully finished in person. The staff were really helpful, especially when we forgot a few bits; the little shop had everything we needed. We were there for a 40th birthday and they kindly let us arrive early to set up balloons and decorations, which was great. The whole site was spotless and Sally, Elvis and Dixie added a lovely touch. Were definitely coming back!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"Its a good point about the lack of mirrors near the sockets. We definitely could have used one nearby for convenience. Just a small tip that might help future guests enjoy their stay more!"
Jessica - Nov 2024
"Honestly, our stay was a bit of a mixed bag. The layout feels odd, with the mezzanine hosting a sofa and TV, but you can't really watch because the living room TV is audible from there. Outside furniture was pretty useless - previous guests left it in a terrible state, all rotten and mouldy, so we didn't bother using it. The hot tub was out of action on our first night but was fixed the next day thanks to friendly staff, which was a relief. Walls are ridiculously thin; we could hear everything from next door - arguments, conversations, you name it. Recycling options were pretty poor too. Each room has a bathroom, but no bath and theres an extra bathroom in the hall? The view outside is dull - some nice trees or plants would make a big difference. On the plus side, the wine fridge and extra fridge were handy and we loved seeing the donkeys and rabbits wandering around."
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had an amazing time celebrating my partner's 40th here! The place looked stunning with lovely decor and great attention to detail. The master suite bed was super comfy-definitely a highlight! The hot tub was ready when we arrived and checked daily, which was perfect. The extra touches like milk and cake on arrival made us feel really welcome. Two fridges plus a wine fridge really helped us organise everything. Can't wait to return!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"We had a lovely weekend at this place, staying in Parsley with our extended family of nine. Parking isnt directly next to the lodge, but its only a quick walk across a little square, which isnt a big deal at all. The insides really spacious, especially the lounge and dining area, which was perfect for all of us. We loved the outdoor decking - plenty of space to sit and eat outside and lots of doors opening out to catch the fresh air. They mentioned you can have a BBQ as long as its on the stones, not the grass, which we managed to do by using some breeze blocks near the bins to lift the disposable BBQ off the ground - so no soot on the patio and we put the blocks back afterwards. The hot tub was a highlight - its well maintained and just what we needed to relax. Bedding and towels were provided and the kitchen had two fridges, a wine fridge and a freezer - very handy. The coffee machine takes Nespresso pods, which we didnt realise until later, but you can buy them in the shop, even on sale. The shop itself is pretty small, but stocked with essentials and open most of the day. We appreciated the little extras like a teatowel, some dishwasher tablets and washing-up liquid. Its about a 10-15 minute drive on a main road to Skegness and theres a lovely pizza place called The Lakes nearby. The kids loved seeing the donkeys and geese by the lake and while a small playground would be a nice touch, theres plenty of space on the grass for running around with bowls, a ball and a Frisbee. All in all, a cracking holiday spot - wed definitely come back!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"Really enjoyed"
James - Aug 2024
"The lodge was spotless and fully equipped, making it perfect for our stay. We had such a great time and will definitely return!"
Emma Clarke - Jul 2024
"The Barn was really charming and we especially enjoyed the tasty cake and biscuits. The beds were a bit too low for us and there was no pizza cutter, but the kids had a blast with the pool table and games!"
Emma - May 2024
"We had an incredible time celebrating my 50th here! The place was spot on - super comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. The kitchen was fully stocked, so cooking our own meals was a breeze. The pool table and hot tub were definitely highlights, making it perfect for a family weekend away. Honestly, we can't recommend it enough - will be back for sure!"
Emma-Louise - Apr 2024
"Really lovely place, had all we needed and the hot tub was a massive bonus."
Emma - Apr 2024
"Lovely place, would stay again"
Emma - Mar 2024
"We recently stayed at Sage for the second time and honestly, we loved it just as much as the first visit. The beds are super comfy and the barn feels spacious and cosy all at once. What we really appreciated is that every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a real bonus - the showers are fantastic, I wish I had one like that at home! The big dining table and pool table made it perfect for hanging out with friends. The hot tub was spotlessly clean and hot, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The staff are really friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend!"
Alex - Mar 2024
"We had a lovely stay from beginning to end. The scenery was stunning and the staff were super helpful-quick to fix the electrical issues. The rest of our visit was truly 5-star! Highly recommend."
Emma Carter - Mar 2024
"Really impressed with the place, everything was spotless and well thought out."
Marina - Mar 2024
"We stayed here recently and honestly, its a decent spot but definitely room for improvement. The tub was a bit small for ten people, luckily only five used it. The place could do with some repairs and clearer instructions for appliances - we left a note in the welcome book, but it would be handy to have a leaflet on local walks starting from the venue. Bathroom shelves are a must - stuff kept falling over. The sky window in the bathroom was tricky to open since theres no hook. Storage is limited, so we lived out of our suitcases after hanging our clothes. Cups dont fit under the coffee machine and there were no plastic cups for outside use - we brought our own. The wine fridge was on but didnt cool and some pans on the hob didnt work, which was frustrating. The freezer was a good size for a weekend trip. Overall, nice enough but could do with some upgrades."
Emily Carter - Mar 2024
"Quiet neighbourhood, neat and well-kept place"
Emily - Mar 2024
"We had a fantastic stay at Sage Cottage! The warmth and cosiness were perfect, especially with the hot tub. The pool table was a big hit too. Really enjoyed our break!>"
Emma - Mar 2024
"Really enjoyed our visit, despite a few dusty spots. Will definitely return soon!"
Emma - Feb 2024
"Absolutely stunning place only down full was didn't like the staff coming in the garden with out knocking or asking knowing my children were in there half clothed as just got out of hit tub and the mattresses could do with being replaced as they dip in the middle apart from that fabulous place and location"
Hollie - Aug 2022
"Home Farm Park is far enough away from the noise but close enough if you want to be in the crowds. Ingoldmells and Skegness only short drives away. We had a fantastic stay! Sage Cottage was more equipped than we had imagined, having everything we could possibly have needed for a week away. Entry to the park and cottage was straight forward and all details given in enough time. The cottage was spotless on arrival. The hot tub was perfect and checked on every day, even if we weren't in. Having the pool table was a real treat, keeping us entertained for hours! The staff were quick to deal with any issues, and always polite and friendly, even providing additional towels we requested towards the end of the week. They advised additional facilities including a small shop and reception type area are currently being built, and more lodges are to be added, which we look forward to. We have already booked Sage Cottage for next year!"
Emily - Jul 2022
"Meal house is absolutely stunning very well maintained. Very close to all amenities we will definitely be going back later in the year"
Gemma - Jul 2022
"Beautiful setting the barn was perfect I would highly recommend if you are looking for peace and tranquillity."
Alan - Jul 2022
"The barns were perfect for a family holiday. The pool table and hot tub kept our teenagers entertained. The bedrooms were lovely and everyone having their own en suite made life easier for getting out and about in the mornings. The hot tub being on a private first floor balcony was also perfect and the view was great. Would highly recommend"
Lisa - Jul 2022
"The most stunning accommodation in a great location. Really clean, tidy and homely and the hot tub was the best we’d ever used! Love the fact it was checked every day. I’d highly recommend staying here and in the other accommodations on the farm."
Sophie - Jul 2022
"Fantastic stay here and hope to return soon. 8 of us staying and plenty of space for all. One thing that let's it down only mirrors are located in the bathrooms. A mirror in the bedrooms would make getting ready and drying hair so much easier."
Marion - Jul 2022
"On arrival the check in process was easy, plenty of parking and easily found. The park was quiet and fishing was good. The barn itself was spacious and the pool table was a good addition. The downsides you could hear alot of noise from next door and due to this one of the party slept downstairs on the sofa. Although the barn was clean the extractor fan above the hob was covered in bugs in fact was black with bugs and needed to be cleaned and the hot tub was absolutely filthy and we felt that it had not been emptied and there wasn't chlorine in it on the first night but clean on the second day. With reference to the hot tub yes it was checked most days however due to its position ie only could be checked by access through the property it felt that you were being imposed on. The property does need a bit of tlc and would benefit from some drawers to put your clothes in and clothes hooks in bathroom. I would recommend the park however I would choose one of the other properties for example the farm house without close neighbours."
Kat - Jul 2022
"Absolutely amazing could not find fault ! Can’t wait to rebook !"
Donna - Jun 2022
"We had a fabulous time, when we arrived the place was beautifully laid out and cleaned. The hot tub was hot and ready to use. The addition of tea, coffee, milk and the plum bread with butter was a lovely touch. The only things we would recommend would be additional hangers in the bedroom as there was not enough for both of us so we ended up living out of suitcases for the week. And more fire wood as we had to purchase some after the first night and were advised there was no where on site we could grab anymore. The sofa was comfy but you couldn’t put your feet up anywhere and cuddle in, in front of the fire. Netflix was a great touch, as was the automatic windows and blinds. Overall, we had a great stay and are looking to book again later in the year :) thank you!!"

Attractions Near Home Farm Park Luxury Barns

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Home Farm Park Luxury Barns. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 4 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 17 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 27 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 28 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 34 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 35 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
