North Shore Holiday Park Reviews

"We loved this cosy cottage-hot tub, log burner, peaceful surroundings. The hosts were lovely and were already planning a longer stay soon!>"
Charlotte - May 2025
"Lovely big lodge a few minor issues with his clean parts was but no major issues. Everything was there what we needed for our stay. It was like a home from home. Cleaned the hot tub every morning."
Trudy - May 2025
"We had such a lovely weekend stay here! The place really ticked all the boxes for us and were already planning to return. Our dogs had a brilliant time, especially enjoying the underfloor heating and the garden space. Luna was wagging her tail so much that she strained it-can you believe that? Definitely a hit with us all!"
Martin - Apr 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay, definitely coming back soon!"
Emily Carter - Mar 2025
"Our North Shore Holiday Park review: We had a lovely stay in this cosy spot, tucked away in a peaceful and private area. The owners are super friendly and always ready to help if needed, but you still feel totally secluded. The hot tub was a real treat after long cycling days. Just a heads up, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of plane noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!"
Rajiv - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was perfect, super clean and so close to everything we needed."
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed it, will return soon"
Samantha - Mar 2025
"We stayed at this place during a rainy December and it was perfect for us! The house is really well kitted out and super cosy, which made it so much better. The bath is lovely and the shower is big enough to actually enjoy. The location is great, especially for dogs that dislike fireworks-completely peaceful. And dont worry about the noise from the planes, it didn't bother us at all. Thanks a lot!"
Jess - Feb 2025
"We went for a weekend to unwind and honestly, everything was just perfect. The staff really made us feel welcome and the caravan was stunning. We've already started planning our next trip with North Shore. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing break!"
Jamie - Dec 2024

Jessie - Dec 2024
"We had such a great weekend here! The place really ticked all our boxes and were already planning to return. Our dogs had a blast-especially with the underfloor heating and the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it! Honestly, happy pups make happy hoomans. Definitely recommend for a chilled out break!"
Charlie - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the caravan was warm, well-equipped and just right for us. Would come back!"
Alex - Nov 2024
"Great stay, super comfy and spotlessly clean, will book again!"
Helen - Oct 2024
"We had a fantastic stay! The house was really comfy and warm, perfect for a rainy December day. The bath was lovely and the shower was great too. The location is peaceful and ideal for dogs, especially those who dislike fireworks, since its so remote. Honestly, the place is beautifully converted and well equipped. Dont let the flight path noise put you off, we barely noticed it. Thanks so much!"
Jasmine - Oct 2024
"Really enjoyed our visit, especially walking the dogs through all those beautiful fields. Lovely day!"
Olivia - Oct 2024
"We had a lovely stay here! The owners are genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us, making us feel really welcome. The cottage itself is adorable, with charming traditional features and a super powerful shower-perfect after a day exploring. The bed was comfy, the place was spotless and parking right outside was a real bonus. We enjoyed peaceful walks across the fields to Thaxted, which is full of characterful half-timbered houses and a windmill. Definitely recommend!"
Samuel Parker - Oct 2024
"Good spot, decent prices, would recommend."
George - Oct 2024
"The place was really lovely, super peaceful and relaxing. Our dog loved the fully enclosed garden!"
Harriet - Oct 2024
"Comfortable and well-made, definitely recommend"
Mark - Oct 2024
"The caravan's okay, but the furniture feels a bit out of date. Carpets really could do with a good clean!"
Sam - Oct 2024
"Great spot, always worth visiting"
James - Aug 2024
"Great holiday, really good value for money, definitely planning to return!"
Chris - Aug 2024

David - Jul 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay at this charming spot nestled in a quiet, private area. The hosts were super friendly and always available if we needed anything, yet it never felt intrusive. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - so relaxing! A heads up though, the cottage is right under the flight path of Stansted, so theres quite a bit of plane noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but it might be an issue if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a lovely place!"

"Can't praise North Shore Holiday Park enough, our apartment was excellent, we couldn't have wanted anything better . Clean, comfortable , plenty of space. The site was clean, there is a shop on site. We didn't try any of the amenities, but there is a couple of bars, bingo if wanted, kids play areas, I could go on ! It's Near to Skegness beach and sea front entertainment. Ingoldmels is a short bus ride a way, with fantasy island and markets. Needless to say we enjoyed our short break away tremendously."

A thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend North Shore Holiday Park."

Attractions Near North Shore Holiday Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to North Shore Holiday Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 0 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 19 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 30 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 30 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 31 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 32 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 38 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
