"We had such a lovely time at the lakeside retreat! Staying in the spacious Willow Lodge really made our trip special. Its got everything you could possibly need and the peaceful setting is just perfect for unwinding. We loved starting our mornings on the decking with coffee, watching the ducks and listening to the birds-its so calming. The bed was super comfy and the deluge shower was a real treat after a day out. The hot-tub was definitely a highlight, checked every morning around the same time, so we knew when to avoid splashing about. Sally was really helpful and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Its clear the owners have put a lot of thought into making sure guests have a relaxing stay; we kept saying thats a lovely touch when discovering little details. Only thing Id suggest is updating the furniture a bit-it would make the place even more top-notch. Still, we loved it!"

"Our Weybread Lakes Lodges review: An absolutely beautiful place to stay, at the lakes edge. We stayed in Willow Lodge, which is spacious and has everything you would need. Luxurious, spacious feel and in a very peaceful location, you can really shut off there. Loved sitting in bed or on the decking with coffee in the mornings overlooking the lake and the ducks, listening to the birds.The mattress on the bed, the deluge shower, and the hot-tub were all absolutely fantastic, I already miss all of these since returning home. The hot-tub was checked every morning at roughly the same time, this was handy as we knew roughly when to avoid being in it. Sally was very helpful and quick at responding. You can see that the owners have really thought of everything for a comfortable break for guests, we found ourselves on multiple occasions saying that is a nice touch when we noticed things - My only niggle would be that all of the furniture really needs updating, this would then make the cabin absolutely top tier/5 star accommodation."

"We had a lovely stay! The lodge had everything we needed, which was great. Honestly, the place is stunning and the location is just perfect - so peaceful and private, it really feels like your own little retreat. The bedroom was massive, with a view over the lake and the bed was super comfy. The kitchen was well-stocked and having a washer and dryer was a real bonus. The lounge was cosy, with a decent-sized TV, though we didnt really use it much. Just loved waking up to that beautiful lake right outside the door - will definitely come back!"

"Honestly, we had a fantastic stay at Larch Lodge. From the moment we arrived, the smell of fresh wood hit you - its really stunning. The place is finished to a high standard, with a kitchen fully equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer and plenty of glasses, so washing up isnt a hassle. The living space is super cosy, with a comfy leather sofa and a big TV with a sound system, which was great for relaxing and playing music everywhere, even in the indoor sauna. The bathroom was a real highlight - a massive roll-top bath, double shower and sinks make it feel pretty luxurious. The bed was so comfy and we loved stepping out through the French doors onto the decking, where the private sunken hot tub was perfect for unwinding. There's also a lovely dining area with sun loungers at the front that overlook the lake - a real credit to the owners, honestly. Would definitely recommend!"

"We stayed at Heron Lodge recently and honestly, its lovely. The place feels quite new and modern, with really nice high standards throughout. The big glass windows in the lounge are fantastic - you get such a great view and really feel connected to the outdoors. The hot tub was perfect and super private, which we loved. We didnt try the sauna, but it looked great. Plus, being able to play music all around the lodge was a real bonus for relaxing. Definitely recommend!"

"Did not see any staff so can't give a true score to them, excellent lodges Bed was a bit hard for us so if you prefer a softer mattress take a topper, fishing was very good and the surroundings are very peaceful, would definitely go again"

Our lodge was just beautiful. We were after luxury and we definitely got it!
We also ordered a Tesco delivery and the driver found us with ease.
The weather was perfect too but even if it wasn’t it still would’ve been a great break away!"

"We had a very peaceful short break and didn’t leave the lodge so the surrounding area didn’t matter. We had no reason to speak to the staff as they had left brilliant instructions for the facilities and everything was ready for us and in full working order. We don’t have a single complaint.."

"It’s been over 10 years since we last stayed at Weybread and were a little worried that things might not still be as good as we remembered but we shouldn’t have worried in fact the way the site has matured made it even more private and the wildlife more evident we had baby rabbits and a deer on our decking it was marvellous to see. Only thing missing was the fresh eggs"
