Ranksborough Hall Lodges make a fantastic holiday destination if you're looking for relaxation and a beautiful setting. Ranksborough Hall itself was built in 1893 for Lord Ranksborough who was equerry to Queen Victoria. A huge 50 acres of parkland surround the hall and make a glorious setting for holiday homes and lodges. The charming village of Langham is on the doorstep with two ancient local pubs and an easy stroll from the lodges.
The county of Rutland is a real gem with local villages, medieval castles, museums, galleries, shops and gardens. Not to mention an array of fabulous eateries. This county has been described as "the Cotswolds without the crowds" and we would definitely agree with that!
There is a wide selection of holiday homes ranging from lodges to courtyard apartments. We love the West Wing which is a large three storey apartment within Ranksborough Hall itself. It sleeps up to 10 so ideal for larger groups, and it has the added bonus of enclosed garden with outdoor hot tub. The Retreat Spa Lodge 2 is also an excellent choice with a modern interior, open plan living space, amazing countryside views and decking area with hot tub.
Kiplin Lodges offer Luxury accommodation within 11 acres of stunning grounds all the lodges have private bubbling hot tubs and a family and pet friendly, this really is the perfect base for exploring the area and having a superb family holiday.
