Excellant accommodation and good value for money. The second bedroom is small but as there were only two of us this was not a problem.

Stags view lodge was lovely. The bedrooms were of a high standard. My family enjoyed the use of the wifi, freeview and smart TV. The kitchen was fully equipped with an under counter fridge and under counter freezer. There was also a choice of hand washing the dishes (tea towel provided) or using the integrated dishwasher. Having two bathrooms, one for each bedroom was a bonus. The shower for the main bedroom was very spacious and easy to use and the bath towels were very clean and large. Hand towels were also provided to the same standard.
Just a couple of areas I would have liked a little cleaner, but it didn't take long to sort it.
The balcony got a little on the slippy side when wet, so extra care was required.
I would gladly holiday here again in the same lodge.

Very clean lodge, clean bathrooms, nice crisp bedding and very comfy beds. Lounge area is well laid out, lovely decor and lighting fixtures. Blinds and curtains throughout. Nice and breezy in summer, but can see how it would be very cosy in winter months too! Plenty of lighting and natural light comes through well. Kitchen has all the utensils and crockery you would want to find on a self catering break, with a very good sized fridge and separate freezer. More than enough space if you wish to bring in stocks for all your meals for a week! Fitted dishwasher (Dishwasher tablets provided), washing up liquid and tea towels provided. Tea and coffee to get you started (a very thoughtful touch to start off a lovely relaxing break). Seating on the balcony was another nice touch and well used. We appreciated the facility to hang coats and remove shoes on entering the lodge, floor mats (and bath mats in bathrooms). All in all, very well thought out and very considerate. Really made our stay enjoyable.

Date of stay: 2nd July 2018
The most relaxing weekend for a while. Things to do nearby if you want but plenty to keep you happy on site if you want a lazier day. The caravan was the best we've stayed in. Almost brand new and a great spec. Wish we had booked a week!

Simply the best. Relaxation. Relaxation & relaxation.

Date of stay: 29th June 2018
Extremely comfortable lodge on a well kept site. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings which could be enjoyed and appreciated from the seating on the raised decking area along 2 sides of the lodge. We had an 88 year old relative with us and the lodge was very suitable, with easy access (no steps). A beautiful spot surrounded by lovely views of the forest which was enriched by the wildlife, especially the deer who feed from your hands. The site sold food to feed the deer for £3.50.

This exceeded our expectations! Such a beautiful few days celebrating our anniversary at silver trees! Trevor and his family are lovely, welcoming hosts and were at hand for any questions. We stayed in Stags view lodge and had a wonderful time, watching the deer from our window and even a stag, enjoyed feeding them and watching them each morning as we had a fantastic view from the double door windows! The lodge was spacious and clean with all the facilities needed for self catering, although the cannock chase park is just a few minutes walk away with a cafe selling hot and cold lunches and cakes. Perfect for walkers and bikers. The onsite pool was also a lovely touch as we got to have a private swim each day, very clean and well looked after. Didn't want this trip to end! Highly recommend this!

We missed having a bath. We appreciated the heating warming the lodge so quickly in the morning and evening and loved the outlook onto the woods. We found a few more items of equipment would have been helpful - eg. scissors & measuring jug.

A lovely lodge on a quiet site. Limited facilities but a great location if you like rambling. A car is essential.

Cosy chalet in a static caravan park - don't be fooled - it's beautiful, set in woodland with deer wandering wild between the chalets/caravans. We spent a lovely Easter weekend in Cannock Chase and would stay again. Only downside... no washing machine.
Peter
If you want peace and tranquillity, comfort, countryside. Activities off site but close. Animals, deer to feed on site. Walking cycling go ape etc nearby. Accommodation fine in summer or warm enough in winter. Tennis and swimming pool on site. Also helpful staff. This is where you should go.
David
wonderful place
Marie
Excellent! Accommodation value for money. Surrounded by nature. A wonderful time was had.
Caroline
We stayed as a pre Christmas break loved our lodge . A very warm welcome from reception. Fed the deers which was lovely. Overall really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the near future.
Alwyn
If you need a break away from the stresses of life, then this is the place to do it. The park and all amenities are imaculate. Staff are brilliant and very friendly. So close to nature, with beautiful views and walks. We were so impressed, we have re-booked for next year.
Huw
A really beautiful location and lovely clean accommodation; we wouldn't hesitate to book again.
James
We had a fantastic holiday at silvertrees. The caravan we stayed in was a little bit tired and older than we had anticipated. However, overall the site and the location is amazing.
Graham
My only reservation is that there was no shop on site, otherwise it was a super location with lovely walks and things to do for our special needs lads.
