Honestly, we stumbled upon this place and it's a real gem. The setting is stunning and super peaceful. The lodge had everything we neededand the hot tub was just what we needed after a long day. The owners are lovely, very helpful but not intrusive. We're already planning to return - it's just perfect for a chill getaway!

The Riverside Lodge really is a lovely spot. The open plan kitchen, diningand living area makes it feel so spacious and welcoming. We especially loved the stunning view from the patio by the riverbank-absolutely breathtaking! The fire pit, hot tuband watching the wildlife made our stay extra special. Everything about the place screamed comfort and relaxation. It was just what we needed for a chilled out break. Honestly, we'll definitely be coming back, it's a proper gem!

From the moment we stepped into this lodge, it completely blew us away with its charming character and spotless condition. The host's warm hospitality, complete with homemade cake, chocolatesand a bottle of wine, was such a lovely touch. Sitting in the hot tub, soaking in the stunning views, was just perfect. We had a lovely stay at this peaceful spot. The hot tub was a real highlightand the pool table kept us entertained in the evenings. Honestly, we had an amazing time at this lodge over Christmas. The scenery is absolutely breathtakingand the place is so well kitted out, it really feels like a home away from home. Nothing beats soaking in the hot tub with views of the river and fields - so peaceful! The owners are genuinely lovely and always ready to help if needed. We've stayed in quite a few lodges, but this is the only one we've revisitedand we're definitely planning to come back!

We had such a lovely weekend here! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and shown around - the pictures really don't do the place justice. It's tucked away in a peaceful spotand those chilly mornings made the views through the windows even more stunning. Plenty of charming spots nearby to explore. The hot tub was spotlessand listening to the river at night was just perfect for unwinding. Would definitely come back!

From the moment we arrived, Marilyn greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. She kindly left homemade cake, chocolatesand a lovely bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch. Riverside Lodge was spotless, cosyand had a really welcoming vibe. The open-plan lounge, gorgeous bedroomsand bathroom were all top-notch. The terrace with its stunning river and forest views was a real highlight. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows - we'll definitely be returning!
