The exterior space could have done with a tidy up and a clean , one exterior light was not working .

Date of stay: 2nd July 2018
Value for money at the time of year we went was amazing - hot tub , dog friendly , restaurant & kids play area. What else do you need
Anne, Kilwinning
Date of stay: 11th June 2018
Beautiful lodge with everything you need. Hot tub very clean. Only thing I would say is that could do with a gate at top of steps to front door and maybe bit where table and chairs is blocked in. Our dog is small and next lodge had very big dog where owner said it would damage our dog if got hold of it. We then had to move table and chairs to block as it kept coming in to our bit. So for parents who have children or families with dogs simple gate would erase this problem.
John, Scarborough
Date of stay: 18th May 2018
The lodge was nice but had only 4 place settings, there is a dishwasher but for so few items it would be wasteful to use.
Carolyn, Durham
Date of stay: 5th April 2018
We stayed in the Poplar Lodge for 3 nights in April. It was clean and well-equipped. A very efficient central heating system was put to good use due to the rather chilly weather! The hot tub was fab and well maintained by staff (the water was checked every day).

Date of stay: 26th February 2018
caravan was very comfortable...except mattress in double room. Could feel every spring ha. Vents in kitchen were quite clogged up, other than that, perfect.
Date of stay: 19th February 2018
The lodge itself was lovely and clean, only minor issues we had was the microwave button was broken and couldn't find the oven manual so took a while to work out. Other than that we had a wonderful weekend away and would definitely return.
Shona, Edinburgh
Date of stay: 7th January 2018
We arrived on a frosty January night and the caravan was lovely and warm for our arrival. Spotlessly clean and a good range of kitchen equipment. We were comfy and cosy for the whole stay.
Samantha, Scunthorpe
Date of stay: 19th November 2017
We stayed in the Sunset Deluxe Lodge. It was absolutely lovely. Very clean and up to date. Even down to the accessories in the cupboards/drawers. Lodge was very warm when we arrived which was brilliant as it was freezing outside. Didn't use the bbq/seating area as we were out and about a lot. The hot tub was lovely. And extremely clean. Only downside to the lodge was having to walk off the decking and down the side of the lodge and round to the hot tub. Rather than having a gate and a couple of steps down into the garden area. It was everything I wanted for a relaxed birthday weekend away.
Daniel, Mansfield
Date of stay: 27th October 2017

Fantastic, the lodge does need a more intensive cleaning, e.g. The glass doors in the kitchen, overall though very good.

It was amazing just unfortunate for pricing for 3 days

Date of stay: 3rd July 2017
The lodge was beautiful, it was like being home from home, loved that the porch had a gate so we didn't have to worry about our dog or child getting out. Hot tub was one of our high lights.
Chloe, Durham
Date of stay: 26th June 2017
Cannot fault the lodge at all, just a few dead spiders in the cracks and corners but that's understandable.
James, Birmingham
Date of stay: 12th June 2017
You have to walk around the lodge to hot tub and BBQ was not on decking was awkward to serve food and decking needed a sweep
Peter, Godalming
Date of stay: 12th June 2017
Having stayed in many Hoseasons Lodges over the years this one failed to get a 10/10 for a few minor reasons. These were; only towels for 2 when there were 3 of us, inventory of lodge contents bore no resemblance to its actual contents, BBQ tools were missing, no cooking trays available for use in the oven, had to clean the oven shelves before using the oven for cooking, welcome pack sadly lacking info on rubbish disposal and also on site activities in the pub and how to join in with these e.g. Bingo. Lodge itself is lovely but spoilt by these minor irritations. We did not use the on site restaurant. We did raise these issues with the staff and were quickly supplied with the towels, inventory deficiencies were not addressed but rubbish disposal was explained. We did not bother to query the pub activities.
Wendy, Stamford
Date of stay: 5th June 2017
Lovely lodge little disappointed that hot tubs & seating area wasn't made bit more private like ones we have been to before found that the balcony area over looked the Nxt door area too much mayb once hedges have grown up will b better x would use site again & recommend as very friendly & clean x

caravan almost brand new, some really nice touches though that set this apart such as washing up liquid, toilet rolls and other basic items in place.

Date of stay: 27th March 2017
Lodge was perfect. Loved the wee extras like washing tablets and kitchen roll. Really perfect for our needs, large and comfortable and hot tub was great.
Gayle, Spennymoor
Date of stay: 22nd March 2017
The lodge was clean, neat and cosy. The hot tub was fantastic and the lodges extras were a lovely touch.
Date of stay: 20th March 2017
We stayed in Sycamore which was practically brand new and spotlessly clean. There are 4 caravans for hire all in a row and all appeared to be the same model situated near to the facilities. The model was basic with a smaller living area but it suited our party of 4 adults a child and a small dog perfectly (additional seating is provided to seat unto 6 at the table).
David, Manchester
Date of stay: 6th March 2017
The holiday home was lovely and well equipped. nice and warm as it was cold weather.
The only downside for me was there was a red stain on the bedding in the master bedroom which wasnt very encouraging. but i slept on top of the bedding as it was nice and warm.
Apart from that the stay was good and i would still stay again.
Lucy, Bolton
Date of stay: 6th March 2017
Lodge is clean and comfortable. Hot tub could have been easier to access, but the hot tub was nice, clean and big too.
Danielle, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Date of stay: 6th March 2017
Great lodge and hot tub. The only thing I would change is having a gate direct into the hot tub area rather than walking around the side of the lodge
Samantha, Bolton
Date of stay: 24th February 2017
Great caravan with all items needed only thing missing was a hairdryer but staff allowed us to borrow one
Paul, Wigan

Date of stay: 18th July 2016
Very well equipped. Found a little 'residue' from previous residents but nothing major. Could be done with a draining board for dishes as no dishwasher. Very little storage space in twin room. But overall very nice.
William, Paisley
Date of stay: 16th July 2016
Really nice holiday.
Dawn, South West Scotland
Date of stay: 2nd July 2016
The lodge itself was lovely and it was great to have the hot tub right there. Although we had neighbours, the hot tub was pretty secluded. It was always ready to use, which was great.

The lodge was very comfortable and well appointed.

Only issue was the state of the dishwasher. It was disgusting inside and the one time we used it, everything came out smelling worse than before it went in. Disgusting.
David, Rossendale

Enjoyed our stay
Date of stay: 3rd June 2016
The lodge was really lovely and peaceful, our family feels we're just at home on holiday. Had a family fun day with friends as they occupy the other lodge too doing barbeque, spending time in the play and exercise area with their kids. The best part is the hot tub which is checked and cleaned everyday by their wonderful staff:) So refreshing and relaxed after using it. Feel so safe too with passcode barrier as no outsider can enter. Highly recommended Will come back again for sure:) Could not say anything bad, perfect!
Kerry, Telford
Date of stay: 3rd June 2016
The lodge itself was beautiful and clean
Janet, Doncaster
Date of stay: 20th May 2016
The lodge was lovely. Easily the best we had stayed in. We changed accommodation on arrival as the lodge we had booked was not fenced off correctly for the dog. Feel that is something that needs to be addressed. Was not secure for pets or children.
The hot tub was gorgeous and was looked after very well every day.
Nice to have a tv in the bedrooms too.
We had a discounted stay. Felt this was this right price. The lodge was perfect but the rest of the site did not reflect the full price that was advertised.
Jane, Kirkcaldy
Date of stay: 8th April 2016
The lodge was very well equipped and had a washing machine and dishwasher along with the other usual bits of utensils etc needed in most kitchens. The bathroom was spacious as was the shower. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We had no complaints whatsoever and would definitely recommend it and would return here in the future.
Kevin, North East
Date of stay: 28th March 2016
Loved sunset lodge, massive lodge with own private hot tub!!! We didn't want to come home! Only downside was the dog hairs we found everywhere! And large bin outside too full to empty rubbish! Site did not have a shop but we managed to eventually find one a few mile down the road. The facilities in lodge were great, including washing machine, dryer and dish washer. Our favourite part was defiantly the private hot tub that was checked daily by staff! Defiantly recommend!!!
Mark, Bolton
Date of stay: 26th March 2016
we wanted a relaxing and enjoyable time and that is exactly what we got, me my partner and our 18 month old Labrador . The accommodation is one of if the best we stayed in and we have been using lodges for the best part of twenty years. The pool was at the time closed due to renovations (which the site office told us before we booked)but from what we saw it is a lovely pool and will definitely be using when we go back, we had an hot tub that comes with the lodge so was not too bothered about the pool. The staff were really helpful, had an issue with TV reception and they came and fixed it straight away, cant fault the staff they were there if you needed them day or night 24/7 thanks for a very enjoyable week, definitely going again SOON!!
Date of stay: 21st March 2016
The lodge was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed we had. Hot tub was fab. Bedrooms and decoration was good. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Would definately visit again.

Excellent clean modern Lodge in quiet park (November). The Lodge was very spacious and had all the mod cons. Very warm and also close to Blackpool. The Hot tub was checked / cleaned everyday and new chemicals added daily

Date of stay: 31st October 2015
Lovely lodge with clean hot tub. Watch out for the man over the lake in the end owned lodge though who turns his lights off and stands on his veranda in the dark secretly watching you in the tub!
Myself, my husband, my 17 year old son and 13 year old daughter along with our little dog had a lovely 3 day break away for my 40th birthday at Sunset Holiday Village. It was wonderful in the hot tub and the site itself was very peaceful and everyone we spoke to were friendly and polite. The staff in the Puddled Duck restaurant/bar were also very friendly and helpful. We look forward to visiting again.
The whole park was well maintained- there was not a scrap of litter anywhere! All staff were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely visit again!
Great site. Great caravan Regulars and residents a bit territorial in the puddled duck when it came to seating and bingo /raffles etc
Very nice clean and tidy site and the caravan was well equipped with everything you’d ever need. The only downside is the nearby roads to the site are tight and a wee bit narrow, so leave the driving to someone experienced
Quiet site. Well kept. Good standard of accommodation. Lovely pub on site. Beautiful sunsets.
Sunset Daisy Lodge. Excellent, very very clean, linen pristine, great everything anybody could need. Staff our wonderful!! Helpful , friendly. Every single person goes an extra mile to make your stay memorable & happy. The staff of the Puddle Duck are second to none. My grandaughter had a wonderful time, meeting new friends & playing. A huge thank you to everybody and a special mention to Aaron, Adele & Katie. Hope to see you all again soon.
Stayed here beginning of April, lovely lodge, hot tub was amazing!! Friendly helpful staff, will definitely be back.
Lovely caravan park. Staff very helpful. Caravan spotless.
Lovely caravan. Clean on arrival with plenty fresh towels and bedding made up. Could do with a better soft play area and other things for children to play with but thats getting to nitty gritty. Other than that a lovely place to stay for a weekend.
Staff at the puddled duck were brilliant and service was 10 out 10.

Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.

Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
about 21 Miles

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals.  Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area.  Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos.  At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed.  Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.

about 22 Miles
Here at the Wildlife Oasis you can really get up close to the animals and experience a mix of exotic wildlife and hand son displays.  See butterflies, birds and even bats flying around.  You don't have to plan your visit according to weather either with the tropical hall and butterfly house undercover.  Sunny days are ideal for some of the inhabitants however with the monkeys and Lemurs loving to sunbathe.  The mission of Lakeland's Wildlife Oasis is to engender and foster an interest and appreciation of the natural world which, in our belief underpins wildlife conservation; and, where possible to contribute and encourage contribution to the conservation of wildlife and wild places.  You know that you are helping with this mission if you choose to visit.
about 22 Miles
Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.

This is a very popular theme park with three different locations.  The theme park in Warrington contains not only the theme park but also Gullivers Splash Zone and Gullivers Star Studios.  The Solash Zone is a fully heated indoor water play factory fun for all ages which will appeal on rainy days.  Throughout the year there are seasonal events too such as the Halloween and Fireworks event taking place from 23rd to 31st October.  You can book online to save time and secure your tickets during busy periods.  Over 50% of the rides are actually under cover so you don't need to worry about the British weather spoiling the fun.

Rydal Mount & Gardens are wonderfully situated between Lake Windermere and Rydal Water offering breathtaking scenery. The home of William Wordsworth from 1813 - 1850 the grand home is now lived in by the poets descendents but parts of the house and grounds are open to the public. Why not take a guided tour and see the rooms where many of the famous poems were written. The gardens are beautiful at all times of the year but in the summer offer a spectacular display of colour. There is also a gallery and a tearoom. Discounts are available for group bookings.
