Swan At Grace View Reviews

Emma - Nov 2024
We had a lovely stay at this lodge, set in such a stunning location. The hot tub was a real highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. Waking up to the horses and chickens was charmingand the kitchen had everything we needed. The sofa was super comfy in the evenings. It’s peaceful here, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Only thing we’d suggest is updating the bed-it's a bit too soft and lumpy with all those toppers. A proper super king would make it perfect!
Emma - Sep 2024
Absolutely loved our stay! The place had everything we neededand the fully enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs. The field was a real bonus for them to run around. Ending the day in the hot tub after exploring the moors was just brilliant. Piers was a lovely host, super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again!
Emma - Jul 2024
Honestly, we had a lovely week here. The house was stunning and well keptand the host was really friendly and helpful. The garden was great for our dog and the views were just breathtaking. Definitely coming back!
Emma Clarke - Jun 2024
We stayed at this quirky lodge and loved the vibe. The views are absolutely stunningand inside it's cosy yet stylish with comfy modern furniture. The hot tub was a real treat, especially since the weather was so good! Perfectly placed for trips to Whitby and nearby spots. Our dog got injured just before we left, but the garden was secure and the place all on one level, so we felt safe. Definitely a top pick for a relaxing break!
Emma - Jun 2024
We loved the stunning views and spacious, comfyand spotless rooms. Definitely recommend it!
Emily - Jun 2024
We loved this place! The location is just stunningand having a private paddock garden was a real highlight for our dog. Piers and Apollo were so welcoming, which made our stay even better. We barely scratched the surface of what North Yorkshire has to offer, but Brimham Rocks is definitely worth seeing. We’ll be back!
Oliver - May 2024
Perfect spot for a laid-back break, everything was super clean and handy.
Sam - May 2024
We loved staying here! The place is gorgeous, with breathtaking views right from the property. Being near the North York Moors meant plenty to explore, though honestly, you don’t have to venture far - the scenery itself is enough. Piers was really helpful with local tips and food spots. Honestly, it’s pretty much perfect for a peaceful getaway.
Emma - May 2024
We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge’s interior is modern, cleanand very well equipped. It’s spacious enough to relax comfortablyand the views from every window are stunning. Being so close to Stokesley made exploring easy. The hot tub was a highlight after long walks, especially watching the sunset over the countryside. Lovely place!
James - Apr 2024
We had an overall lovely stay at this cottage. The location is fantastic, with breathtaking views that really make it special. The secure garden was perfect for our dogs to roam freely. The place was spotless and peaceful, which we appreciated. The kitchen had everything we neededand the hot tub was a nice touch-at 40 degrees, it was just right. The bed was super comfy, though the blinds in the bedroom weren’t blackout, so we used an eye mask. Some glass panes in the living area didn’t have blinds, so we had to cover the dogs in the evening. The sofas were really cosy and squishy. Piers was very helpful and friendly. We loved the nearby pub, Jet Miners, which was fabulous. If we come back, we’d probably choose Owl Cottage for its seclusion and quietness. Just a little thing, we missed having a washing machine during our 7-day stay, but overall, it was a great trip!
Emma - Apr 2024
The main room was lovelyand the enclosed garden was perfect for the dog to run around freely. We really enjoyed our stay!
James - Feb 2024
Honestly, we had an amazing stay! Piers was super friendly from the start, making us feel really welcome. The place is so peaceful and private-perfect for our dogs to run around freely. The bathroom towels were so warm and cosy, which was just what we needed. The accommodation itself was spotless, well-equippedand offered stunning views all around. Plus, being able to use the paddock for extra dog runs was a real bonus. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
Jasmine - Feb 2024
We had such a lovely time! The location offers loads to explore if you're up for it, but it’s also perfect for just chilling out. The lodge felt super cosy - really homely and welcoming. The hot tub in the enclosed garden was a hit, especially for the dogs. Piers was so friendly and gave us some top tips for places to visit. We’ll definitely be back soon for another break!
James - Jan 2024
Great spot, lovely host, would definitely stay again!
James - Dec 2023
We really enjoyed our stay here! The setting is so peaceful and away from the hustle. Mr Mitchell was super helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a quiet escape in a lovely spot. Will come back for sure!

Emma Carter - Sep 2023
Just got back from The Swan at Grace Viewand what a lovely weekend we had! The place is stunning, especially the wraparound garden and the breathtaking views of Roseby Topping and Captain Cook Monument. Our dogs adored running free, which was a big plus. The house had everything we neededand ordering a takeaway was hassle-free. We’re already planning to come back. Ohand Apollo, their black lab, really does love dried rabbit ears - so cute!
Emma - Sep 2023
We loved the open plan layout, plenty of space and fantastic views over the countryside. The secure garden was perfect for the dogs to roam freely. The Black Swan Inn was super welcoming for dogs and their ownersand the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Easy drive to Kirkby too-definitely coming back!
Emily Carter - Sep 2023
The place was absolutely lovely, with breathtaking views everywhere. It’s such a peaceful spot, perfect for relaxing. Plenty of great pubs nearby and lovely walks. The secure garden was a big plus for the dogs. We’ll be back for sure!

With thrilling rides for the very daring like Cliff Hanger, Corkscrew and Kumali, there are also more gentle rides for the little ones such as Frog Hopper and Helitoys.  Family fun attractions include the 4D cinema, the lost river ride and the Little Monsters Den of Mischief. Check out their website for seasonal events which take place throughout the year and you can also gain more information about the zoo.  Flamingo Land is a resort as well as a theme park so you can also book accommodation there.
