Mundesley Holiday Village Reviews

"The bungalow was spacious and spotless, perfect for our stay. Parking was nearby and super easy to access too. Great!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"Very comfortable stay, would definitely come again."
Emily - Feb 2025
"Cozy place, felt like a home away from home."
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"We found the bungalow really tidy and well-maintained, which was great. The only thing was the double mattress wasnt as comfy as we're used to, so maybe its time for a new one. Loved the board games in the lounge - kept us busy on quiet evenings, nice touch!"
Jamie - Jul 2024
"Our Mundesley Holiday Village review: Comfortable, friendly, great location"
Emma - Jul 2024
"Weve just come back from our second trip here and honestly, were already planning to return! This quiet little spot above the cliffs near Mundesley is just perfect for a relaxing break. The views over the beach are stunning, but do watch out for the steep access - keep the dogs on leads and hold onto the kids hands, especially if theyre small. The coastal path leading into the village is a lovely walk and adds to the charm. Check-in was hassle-free; we got a call a week before and an email with the access code and directions, so no long queues at reception. We stayed in Anmar18, a cosy 3-bed bungalow that was super clean and well-equipped - washer, dishwasher, fridge-freezer - everything you need. The only minor thing was the mattress, which was a bit too soft for us. The Ship pub nearby is great for food and has a lovely sea-view beer garden, but the Vernon Arms in Southrepps is even better - friendly locals, guest ales and a bigger garden too. Cant wait to come back!"
Emma T. - Jun 2024
"The bungalow was really comfy and tidy, with all the essentials. Perfect spot for exploring locally-definitely recommend!"
Emma - Mar 2024

"Great place, will definitely tell everyone about it!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay at the holiday cottage. Booking was a breeze and the check-in process was simple with clear directions. The place was spotless and decorated nicely, though it did seem a bit worn around the edges - some marks on the sofas and carpets. It felt cosy enough to relax in after a day out exploring. The location was spot on, close to the beach and the village of Mundesley and walking our dog along the cliffs opposite was a highlight. Overall, a lovely spot to unwind with family and wed happily return someday!"
Emily Collins - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed staying here! The lodge felt modern and roomy, perfect for our family of four. Hot tub was fantastic!"

"Really enjoyed our stay, will come back!"
Emily - Aug 2020
"We loved exploring Mundesley's stunning beach and charming village. The only downside was the lack of recycling options at the park - definitely something that should be improved soon. Overall, a lovely stay though!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"Really liked the vibe, comfy and stylish!"
James - Jul 2020
"Really helps me unwind after work"
Emma - Jul 2020
"Very chill and enjoyable"
Emma Collins - Jul 2020
"We stayed at this holiday village recently and honestly, we really enjoyed our time there. The place is beautifully maintained, even with some ongoing building work, which didnt bother us at all. Check-in was smooth and contactless, perfect for these times. Our bungalow (Walsingham 33) had a stunning view over the cliffs and out to the sea - such a lovely sight to wake up to! The location was great for dog walks and everything from the refuse points to the gym, spa and reception was easy to access from the bungalow, although we didnt get to try the gym or spa because of Covid restrictions. The bungalow itself was clean, nicely furnished and well-equipped in the kitchen. It could do with a fresh coat of paint, as some walls had knocks and scuffs, but nothing major. The gated terrace with outdoor furniture was handy for kids and pets, though more seats wouldve been nice. No noise from neighbours or the rain either, which was a bonus. Wed definitely come back!"
Emma - Jul 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay! The bungalow was huge and spotless, with cosy beds all ready when we arrived. The towels were soft, which was a lovely touch. We arrived a bit early, around 3.30pm and to our surprise, the cleaners had just finished, so they kindly let us in early. Great service!"
Rachel - Jul 2020
"We had a decent stay overall. The dishwasher and washing machine were handy, but it wouldve been better with a second shower for six people. Its okay though!"
Rachel - Jul 2020
"The bungalow was really clean and well-equipped, which we appreciated. A fresh coat of paint might brighten it up a bit."
Emma - Jul 2020
"Relaxing and quite enjoyable"
James - Jul 2020
"We really enjoyed our stay overall. The lodge was lovely and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The site is quite busy with ongoing work, but we reckon itll be great once everythings finished. Just wish there were some facilities on-site; that was a bit of a surprise at booking time."
Emma T. - Jul 2020
"Comfortable and spacious, overall good"
James - Mar 2020

Lynne - Jul 2022
"Lovely quiet village bungalow spotlessly clean"
Vivian - Jul 2022
"Lodge was lovely with amazing views, staff are friendly and helpful."
Suzanne - Jul 2022
"A little bit bias as we have had family holidays in the area for the past 5-6 years, however it was the first time we had a 3 bed bungalow and to be honest absolutely loved it. My family consisted of myself, wife, 2 sons, daughter in law, 4 yr old grandson and 2 dogs and the bungalow had plenty of space for us all and the kitchen with everything in it. The area is great for walking your dogs, the site was calm and peaceful plus the games room and gym was now re-opened following covid. The beach is lovely, but if you want the best travel 3 miles to Bacton beach. The Chinese & chippie in the village was excellent for take a-ways and a day out in Yarmouth topped it off. Could have visited a lot more locations and the broads, but not enough time. Definitely be back next year."
James - Jul 2022
"Very large spacious chalet to stay in,well equipped and nice location. Very comfortable and clean"
Rebecca - Jul 2022
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and loved the location. The beach is perfect and the walk down to it pleasant though the beach path could go with a bit of pruning! One benefit would be a child’s play area as there were a few families present during our stay. Our table parasol didn’t work either so sitting out on hot days without shade not possible, though the extreme heatwave isn’t a likely occurrence again but if we asked I am sure it would have been fixed- we spent lots of time at the beach and had a great time! The bungalow was a good size and suited our needs, big fridge and freezer and lots of equipment to self cater."

Attractions Near Mundesley Holiday Village

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Mundesley Holiday Village. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 11 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 11 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 17 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 18 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 23 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 28 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 30 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 33 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 34 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
