"Our Yare View Holiday Cottages review: Honestly, we had a fantastic weekend at Yare View. The lodge was cosy and beautifully maintained and the location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The only hiccup was the smoke detectors going off at 3:30 am on Sunday-probably just an electrical glitch, nothing serious. Wed definitely come back!"

"We had such a lovely stay at this peaceful spot. The location really is perfect - quiet enough to unwind, but still close enough to Norwich if we fancied a bit of city life. Sitting by the river, watching the boats glide past all day, was genuinely relaxing. The staff we met were all very friendly and helpful, which made everything feel even more welcoming. Our cottage was a terraced place that looked like it had been updated with modern touches and it was well stocked for self-catering. The kitchen had good quality utensils and there was a small welcome pack with a half bottle of wine, some biscuits, coffee sachets, tea bags and small cartons of milk - enough to keep us going the first morning. There was also olive oil and salt and pepper in the cupboard, which was handy. Under the sink, there were cleaning products like washing-up liquid and dishwasher tabs. We had a comfortable week, but its worth mentioning that when it gets warm, the place can get quite stuffy since theres no air con or fans. We also thought the space might be a bit tight for five adults, especially with limited storage in the upstairs bedrooms. The bathroom was fine for us, but I can imagine it could be a squeeze with more people. The hot tub was a real highlight - very relaxing - although with five adults, it would be a bit of a squeeze and someone would need to wait their turn. The area around it is private, but space is limited, so moving chairs around could be a bit tricky. A couple of things to bear in mind - you kind of rely on your neighbours being considerate since you can hear them walking around and you might catch their music or baby crying. Also, you need to hope they follow the rules about not running on the decking! Overall, we think the owners might be a bit optimistic advertising it for five adults, but for us, it was a really relaxing and enjoyable break."

"We had a really relaxing stay at this place. The view was stunning and the hot tub was a lovely touch. The location is perfect and the sofa and pillows made relaxing even better. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. The only minor downsides were the small fridge and the bedrooms feeling a bit basic - could do with a touch more luxury. Also, check-in at 4 pm felt a little late, but overall, we loved it and will definitely return!"

"Stayed in Nightingale. Lovely views and great private back garden with hot tub. Recommend to take day boats out on River Yare and Bure from Wroxham. Everything in cottage that you need"

"Lovely peaceful and quiet. Accommodation is beautiful and very clean and you had everything you need. Perfect with train station on site. Would say the mattress needs replacing and the hot tub needs adjusting as the jets had no power to sooth your joints. But I believe the accommodation is having a refurb soon. Definitely worth a stay and hire the dayboat and pop to Norwich"

"Absolutely idyllic place. Great location - near by bar and restaurant and local shops, great base for driving to local places and a train station on your door step. Friendly staff and a very warm welcome. Lovely welcome pack and the staff ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Accommodation was great - clean, everything you need. Netflix was an added bonus. Back area with hot tub was great, not overlooked and larger than expected. Brilliant stay,"
