Sandy Beach Holiday Park Reviews

"We loved the place! Perfect location, great value and everything we needed was there. Its really warm inside and the big TV with Sky was a bonus. Definitely recommend!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"Absolutely loved our stay! The lodges spacious design and stunning beach views really did impress us. Its a perfect spot to relax and were already planning our next visit. Cant wait to return!"
James - Sep 2024
"Honestly, we wanted to love this place, but it just didnt quite hit the mark. The day we arrived, we got a call asking if we wanted bedding supplied, which wed already paid for and then they asked if we knew where we were going. We hadnt received any directions or info beforeh and, so it threw us off a bit. The location itself was lovely, though - nice spots to eat nearby and a gorgeous beach just steps away, which was definitely a highlight. Once we got inside the caravan, we thought it looked okay at first. It was a bit dated, but everything seemed to be there. We were a bit annoyed that the bed wasnt made and that we had to pay extra for bedding, but it wasnt a huge deal. However, the real letdown was how dirty it was. Cobwebs everywhere, especially on the ceilings, with resident spiders hanging about. It was pretty clear the place hadnt been cleaned properly. We couldnt just ignore it, so we ended up grabbing the vacuum and giving it a quick clean ourselves. Honestly, its not what you want to do on holiday, especially since it took all of 15 minutes. Its a shame because the location was lovely, but the cleanliness was a major issue. We even considered leaving after the first night, but thankfully we stuck it out. Still, its not what we expected and we really shouldnt have had to do such basic cleaning ourselves. Wouldnt recommend if youre after a hassle-free break."
Charlie Thompson - Apr 2024
"We had a lovely time! Staff were super friendly and the beach was perfect for dog walks-really enjoyed our stay overall."
Emma Clarke - Mar 2024
"Our Sandy Beach Holiday Park review: The caravan was just as described and in good shape, really. Only thing missing was some hangers in the wardrobe, which wouldve been handy. Cheers!"
Alex - Mar 2024
"Lovely quiet spot, perfect for exploring Cromer and Great Yarmouth."
James - Feb 2024
"Lovely spot, very peaceful. Village has all we needed."
Emma - Feb 2024
"We really enjoyed the peaceful location and lovely sea views from the caravan. Its just a short stroll to the beach, which was perfect for us. The place was spotlessly clean and cosy, though it was quite quiet - not for everyone, maybe. Wouldve been great to have a vacuum to tackle all the sand, but otherwise, we loved it!"
Emma - Jan 2024
"Roly and his wife are genuinely lovely, super helpful throughout our stay. The park's refurbishments are making it nicer and the upgrade to a van was much appreciated to escape the noise."
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"Great caravan, has all the essentials in the cupboards and drawers."
Jamie - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay, the Chinese food was lovely and the beach was stunning. We found some fantastic spots nearby within ten miles, too. It was just a great trip all around!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed the stay here. The spot is perfect for relaxing and exploring nearby Yarmouth, Cromer and the Broads. Lovely area!"
Mark - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay! The place was spotless and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back again."
Alex - Nov 2023
"Great value and comfy too"
Mike Roberts - Nov 2023
"We really enjoyed our stay with a stunning sea view in such peaceful surroundings. The place was super comfy and honestly, that quiet was just what we needed. If there had been a small balcony, it wouldve been perfect for a bit more privacy while relaxing outside, especially since others kept walking across our lawn area. Still, a lovely spot!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely stay! The hosts were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us. The caravan was incredibly clean and comfortable - just what we needed. Its a shame it was fully booked during half term, but were already planning to return next week. Cant wait!"
James - Oct 2023
"We had such a lovely, chilled break here. Everything we needed was nearby and the staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. Definitely planning to return soon! Would recommend to anyone."
Holiday Enthusiast - Sep 2023
"We really enjoyed our stay here. The site is peaceful and well-kept, with a stunning beach just at the front. The accommodation was cosy, clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely come back!"
James - Sep 2023

Attractions Near Sandy Beach Holiday Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Sandy Beach Holiday Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 10 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 13 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 17 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 20 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 24 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 26 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 30 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 31 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 33 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
