Cherry Tree Reviews

"Overall, quick response times were impressive, but the carpets and sofas really do need a proper deep clean to freshen things up. Cheers!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had a lovely holiday overall, but it couldve been even better if the caravan had more trays, plates, bowls and stuff like that. The staff in the entertainment area wasnt very friendly and drinks seemed quite pricey too. Still, good times!"
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"Overall, we were happy with what we got for the price. It had everything we needed and the quality of the equipment was good. The place was clean, though you could see it was the end of the season, so it could use a deep clean - walls and soft furnishings looked a bit grubby. The shower was fantastic with great water pressure and a spotless cubicle. The kitchen was well equipped and the carpets felt quite new. Next time, wed bring our own small bedside lamps, an electric fan and a shower mat for extra comfort."
Alexandra - Sep 2024
"We had a lovely stay overall. The caravan was very spacious and spotlessly clean, which we really appreciated. The main bedroom was a bit tight at the foot of the bed, so that was a small inconvenience. Also, there was an issue with the sofa being wet and honestly, a heads-up or fixing it beforehand wouldve been better. Still, wed recommend it for a nice holiday!"
Emma Roberts - Aug 2024
"Our Cherry Tree review: We had a fantastic stay in this caravan! Honestly, it's the best one we've been in so far, no issues whatsoever. The main bedroom with an en-suite was a real bonus, plus there was an extra toilet and walk-in shower, which was handy. The kitchen was well equipped, with a proper full-sized cooker, fridge freezer and a nice table for four. We think four people is perfect for it, even though it can fit six. Definitely recommend!"
Emma - Aug 2024
"Great fun for everyone"
Emma - Aug 2024
"We absolutely loved the caravan-so stylish and comfortable. The location was perfect with plenty of restaurants nearby. Definitely planning to return. Thanks, CherryTree!"
Emma - Nov 2023
"We stayed in a lovely caravan that was spacious and spotlessly clean, exactly what we needed for a relaxing break. The place was generally great, though we did face a few hiccups. The door was tricky to shut and lock properly and the central heating wouldnt turn on, which was a bit of a pain. The sofa wasnt the most comfy, but hey, its not a major deal. We didnt call anyone for help, so were partly to blame, but I reckon those issues couldve been sorted easily if we had. A small gate on the veranda wouldve been ideal since we had a dog, as we had to block him with the table at times-he did manage to escape once, but luckily, he came back! Overall, wed stay again in Hemsby, just maybe with a heads-up to report problems early on."
Rachel - Nov 2023
"We had a lovely, relaxing time overall. It's a shame the location wasn't more convenient for us since were disabled; the walk was quite a trek. We mentioned it when booking, but it wasn't sorted. Still, we enjoyed our stay quite a bit."
Emma - Nov 2023
"We really enjoyed our stay at Cherry Tree. The location is spot on, making it easy to explore nearby. The caravan was spotless and super comfy, though we found the coach area a bit lacking. Our 7-year-old had a blast with the evening entertainment - shes still talking about it! The outdoor pool was lovely and the staff there were really friendly. A minor thing, but the bar staff couldve been a bit warmer. Overall, a fantastic holiday for us!"
Emma Roberts - Nov 2023
"We had a fantastic day out before the kids went back to school. Theres plenty to keep everyone entertained on-site and around the area. We checked out Africa Alive and the Pleasure Beach and honestly, everyone had a really good time! Definitely recommend."
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"Weve been coming to this holiday park yearly for the past eight years and its always great! The location is just perfect, really convenient and scenic. We love returning so often because it feels like a little home away from home. The surroundings are lovely and its just the right spot for a relaxing break. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, lovely holiday spot! Its become a bit of a tradition for us now."
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed staying here, comfy place but some furniture could definitely use fixing up."
James - Jul 2023
"Honestly, the dining setup was a bit of a letdown. Only two adults could sit comfortably on one side and the toddler at the end made it tricky to get in. Not ideal for family dinners."
Linda - Jun 2023
"Really enjoyed our stay here"
George - Apr 2023
"Thurlton is a charming one-bedroom caravan, feeling surprisingly roomy with plenty of storage, especially in the walk-in wardrobe. Our only gripe was the lack of a mattress cover - definitely something it needs. Wed happily go back, just bringing our own protector next time. Overall, a very pleasant and comfy stay!"
Mark - Apr 2023
"The place was lovely and we had a great time overall. Definitely returning!"
Oliver - Aug 2020
"Great holiday experience"
Emma Carter - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, the caravan was spotless and stylish, loved it!"
Emily - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay! The Thurlton caravan is perfect for two, so charming and super tidy too."
Emma - Aug 2020
"Overall, we had a lovely stay at Cherry Tree. The caravan was spotless and super comfy, which we really appreciated. A bit of a hiccup with no hot water for a few days, so thats why we rated it a 9, but it didnt spoil our trip. When we asked for the door catch fix, they sorted it within an hour. Wed happily come back once social distancing isnt a thing anymore!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"This caravan was honestly one of the best we've stayed in, really recommend it!"
James - Jul 2020
"Really impressed with this buy"
Emma - Jul 2020

"Perfect location to the beeches shops and the site is amazing too, friendly staff and plenty to do on site. Caravan was spotless and location of the caravans they are not on top of each other giving you space to have a BBQ and privacy without disturbing your neighbours."

Attractions Near Cherry Tree

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Cherry Tree. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 5 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 11 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 13 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 24 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 28 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 31 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 31 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Suffolk Owl Sanctuary - IP28 6HX
about 35 Miles
This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 36 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 37 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
