Field View at Mundesley Reviews

"We had a lovely stay! The lodge was spotless and fully equipped, which was great. The team at reception was super friendly and helped us when we arrived late. The locations perfect, with cliff top walks to Mundesley and Bacton right from the park."

Rachel - Dec 2024
"We booked last minute and were super impressed with the lodge. It really was outstanding, definitely better than we expected. Even though we arrived later than planned, around 4:30, they made us feel so welcome - tea, biscuits and bread waiting for us was a lovely surprise. The hot tub was gorgeous and the small onsite gym and spa were a real bonus. Were already planning to come back next year!"
Charlotte - Nov 2024
"We loved this place! Its super cosy, really clean and everything feels high-end. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, honestly, we didnt want to leave!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was sleek and modern, perfect for a quick getaway. The only thing was, other lodges felt a bit close and there weren't many green spaces. The cliff walk into Mundesley made up for it though!"
Emma Carter - Jun 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was perfect and comfy."
Emma Carter - May 2024
"Comfortable stay, highly recommend"
Emma Carter - Apr 2024
"We had a fantastic stay at this holiday park! Only a five-minute walk to the beach along the cliff top, its perfectly located. The lodge was spotless, comfortable and well-equipped for self-catering. Loved that it was pet friendly too, with some lovely dog-friendly pubs nearby. Definitely planning to return!"
Emma Carter - Mar 2024
"The place had some scuffs on the walls and one en suites underfloor heating was broken. Also, the hot tub jets on two sides didnt work at all."
Emma Carter - Feb 2024
"We loved this place! Its really roomy and super comfy. Spotless and well-equipped, it felt just like a home from home. Perfect for a couple or even four people. Definitely recommend!"
Emma - Feb 2024
"The lodge was spotless, just what we needed. Loved the bathrobes, milk bread and bread on arrival. Very happy!"
Emma - Feb 2024
"Great spot to unwind, super cosy and peaceful atmosphere too."
Emma - Jan 2024
"Weve been going to Haven holidays for years, but honestly, their cleanliness lately has been pretty rubbish. So this time, we decided to try somewhere different and Mundesley Holiday Village really surprised us - its miles better! The place was spotless, which made our stay so much more relaxing. No one wants to spend their holiday cleaning and they really thought of everything, like providing milk, coffee, butter, bread - all the essentials waiting for us. Plus, they left little selection boxes for the kids, which was such a lovely touch and made them smile. The whole vibe was stunning - it definitely had that wow factor. We felt right at home and honestly, we couldnt find a single fault. Were already talking about coming back. Huge thanks to the team at Mundesley for making our holiday special!"
Jamie - Jan 2024
"We recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely holiday village and honestly, it was a pretty great experience from start to finish. Before we even arrived, the staff reached out to us, super friendly and helpful, making sure we had all the info we needed for our stay. That warm welcome really set the tone. When we got to lodge no 18, we were pleased to find it spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated - looked brand new, no signs of previous guests at all. The self-catering setup was just right, with everything we needed for cooking, laundry and general comfort. Honestly, we couldnt think of anything missing. There was a handy folder on display that included instructions for all the appliances, plus useful contacts like taxi services, local food options and even emergency numbers for the hospital and vet. Plus, it listed plenty of local attractions for us to explore. The staff kept a respectful distance while checking the hot tub each day, which we appreciated and they were always polite and friendly. The entire site was well-maintained, nestled in beautiful rural surroundings, which made for a really peaceful atmosphere. We loved the coastal walk just a few metres away - perfect for daily dog walks and relaxing strolls. If were being picky, which we dont often like to do, there were just two small things. It wouldve been handy to have a hook on the large living room doors leading out to the decking, so you could keep them from blowing shut in the wind. Also, although there were two big bathroom mirrors, a full-length mirror in one of the bedrooms wouldve been a nice touch. All in all, we had a really relaxing stay and would definitely come back again. Definitely recommend!"
Jess and Mark - Nov 2023
"Weve stayed here four times now and still love it. The location is lovely, loads of nearby attractions and the lodge is super cosy and well-equipped. Definitely coming back!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"The furniture was super comfy and looked really posh. Kitchen had everything we needed for DIY meals. North Waltham supermarket is nearby. Loved the fresh, thoughtful welcome pack!"
Emily - Jun 2023
"We really enjoyed staying at this charming cottage. Its perfectly situated, away from busy areas but still close enough to explore. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Owners were super helpful without being intrusive - they've got it just right! Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway."
James - May 2025
"We had such a lovely stay! The cottage is super well-kept and had everything we needed. The dog walks right outside were perfect for our little ones. The host was really friendly and quick to respond. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a sweet touch. Absolutely worth it and well be coming back for sure!"
Emily - May 2025
"We loved the gorgeous place, super clean and cosy, with everything we needed. The hot tub was fantastic! Absolutely loved it."
Emma - May 2025
"We had a really lovely time! Sharon and Robert were fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home. The place was spotlessly clean, comfy and perfect for our dog Archie - he loved it! The location was just right, with loads of walking spots and charming villages like Thaxted nearby. Honestly, we left feeling totally refreshed and relaxed, which is exactly what we needed. Would definitely recommend!"
Charlotte - May 2025
"We had a fantastic week here from 15 to 22 July with our two little daschund girls. They loved making new friends around the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage itself was really lovely and the hot tub was a real treat, especially since it was scorching outside! It was nice to see the hosts so welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed watching the planes land since its near Stansteds flight path, which added a bit of entertainment. Overall, wed happily recommend it for a relaxing getaway!"
Emma - May 2025
"The place was so tranquil, perfect for unwinding. Our dog loved the fully enclosed garden! Lovely stay."
Harper - May 2025
"We had a really nice, chilled-out stay. The place was spotless, had all the essentials, plus some nice little touches. Would definitely recommend!"
Harriet - May 2025
"We had a fantastic weekend here, everything was perfect for our quiet anniversary escape. Highly recommend!"

Fred - Jul 2022
"Amazing property with lovely views, all amenities available in property and a peaceful location only 5 minutes walk for the beach."
Peter - Jul 2022
"Very clean and friendly helpful staff"
Stephanie - Jul 2022
"Everything perfect regarding the lodge,no 18 was overlooked when you were in the hot tub, would have been better with a screen of some sort around it. Apart from that ,perfect."
Aileen - Jun 2022
"As a family we had an amazing time, very relaxing. Very clean with super friendly staff. The little touches made it for me , milk & butter in the fridge, tea , coffee & cookies on side , so on arrival you can have a nice cuppa ! We looked to book to go back but was fully booked for the rest of the year. There is a short walk to the beach , but if you struggle with walking I would suggest driving as it gets very steep."
Helen - Jun 2022
"Lodge was lovely and very clean. Communication was good before the holiday and staff helpful when I phoned with an enquiry. A few complimentary items left such as milk, butter, cookies and dishwasher tablets etc. which was a nice touch. Hot tub excellent. Only a few minor criticisms in that there wasn’t much privacy between the neighbouring hot tubs. Also in the bedroom there wasn’t anywhere to sit to do hair, make up etc. or a mirror and only 4 coat hangers supplied. The bed was very large and extremely comfortable though and each room has en-suite which is a bonus. One other slight disappointment was the access to the beach. I thought it would have been easier to walk there but with a baby’s pushchair we ended up having to drive there as it was down a narrow steep cliff path but once in the village there are a lot of shops, cafe and great pub."
Pamela - Jun 2022
"The lodge was great but it needs a full length mirror. Overall a good place to relax."
Ann - Jun 2022
"Lovely luxury lodge styled to a very high standard, Lodge 18 unfortunately has restricted views and feels slightly overlooked but we absolutely loved our stay at Mundesley Holiday Village."
Daniel - Jun 2022
"Field view was a fantastic lodge everything you needed staff on site very friendly we enjoyed our week hot tub was brilliant we had lovely weather plenty of places in easy reach to see owner has done wonders with this site"
Angela - May 2022
"The unit was brilliant hep was always on hand. Will book again in the future"
Rolf - May 2022
"Would have given a higher score if all the facilities were open. Having said that, the accommodation was first class. Really comfortable beds, high level of cleanliness. Very helpful friendly staff. Unexpected welcome pack upon arrival. Excellent communications."
Jillian - May 2022

Attractions Near Field View at Mundesley

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Field View at Mundesley. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 11 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 11 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 17 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 18 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 23 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 28 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 30 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 33 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 34 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
